She responded quickly when I first reached out and generously made time for a meet-and-greet the very next day. This was my first time booking a house sitter and my longest time away from my recently adopted senior kitty, so I was understandably a little nervous. But Daisy immediately greeted Andrea at the door and seemed comfortable with her, which put me at ease. Andrea was attentive to all the little quirks I shared about Daisy, asked thoughtful questions, and was transparent about her daily schedule. She had the flexibility to spend most of the day at my home with Daisy, which was a huge benefit. About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember! We used to foster sick animals and newborns when I was younger, so we had many dogs and cats come through our house. This in turn resulted in my love for animals to grow immensely, as I wanted to provide as much love as possible to our fosters while they were with us. Currently, I have a two year old Goldendoodle who is my pride and joy. She is pampered and treated like royalty, as she deserves. I also have a nine year old cat that I adore, he is incredibly loving and affectionate. I consider your pets to be just as important as my own, and will treat them as such! I currently work from home for three days out of the week, so I have some flexibility with my schedule. Happy to discuss further with any future clients! About: My love for animals has shaped so much of my life. For as long as I can remember, lost and stray animals have had a way of finding me, and I’ve made it my mission to help them get safely home or receive the care they need. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to spend a year volunteering with a street-animal rescue organization in St. Maarten. The number of stray dogs and cats throughout the Caribbean is heartbreaking, and the animals arrived in many different conditions. Some were feral and needed to be safely trapped, socialized, and rehabilitated. Others were orphaned puppies and kittens requiring hand-feeding, while many were former pets who had been abandoned, malnourished, or injured. I helped care for these animals and prepare them for foster and forever homes—either on the island or, with the help of volunteer escorts, in loving homes around the world. It was challenging, deeply meaningful, and the most rewarding work I have ever done. My last pet was the love of my life, Sophie, a Tibetan Spaniel who was by my side for almost 17 years. She traveled with me by plane, sailboat, and RV and experienced more places and adventures than many people do in a lifetime. I miss her every day and remain incredibly grateful to have shared my life with such a special soul. Now that I’m settled in Palm Harbor, Florida, I’m not quite ready to welcome another pet of my own. Instead, I’ve chosen to follow my passion by helping care for yours. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to provide attentive, dependable care and plenty of companionship. About: We love animals very much, but we don't have any of our own. That’s why we look after our friends' pets. They leave their beloved animals with me for a week when they go on vacation, knowing they are in safe, loving hands. We have a camera in our apartment so we always are able to check your pets, even when we go to supermarket. I work from home, so I can give your pets plenty of attention. I can take them for walks more often than usual, play with them throughout the day, and shower them with love. I follow all feeding instructions. We are available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. We live in an apartment with minimal furniture, safe for your pets, but we also have a large community area and a bark park. We allow sleeping on the sofa. We have a camera in our apartment so we are always able to check your pets, even when ww go to supermarket.

About: For me, the joys of pet ownership came a little later in life. I grew up in a home with my parents and 3 older brothers. My mom deduced that a house with four boys and a grown man didn't need any more animals! In the 90s, I worked with the local Humane Society and was overwhelmed by love and empathy that I felt for the animals waiting for adoption. Since then, I've jumped at any chance to walk or care for the pets of my friends and family. She's a gorgeous 14 year old Chihuahua / Italian Greyhound mix and she's a walking, licking, mood-lifting machine! I live in a quiet, gated community which is ideal for walking dogs safely. The surrounding neighborhoods are quiet with very little traffic. About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds since I was 10 years old, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I also have care experience with saltwater fish tanks, reptiles, rodents, poultry and more! Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, and love their pets as if they were my own. I share my home with cats, bunnies, and multiple saltwater aquariums! so I truly understand how important it is to give each animal personalized attention, patience, and affection. I’m also pursuing a career as a vet tech, which gives me extra knowledge and care skills that I bring to every pet I meet. I’m an active volunteer at the Humane society in Tampa and The Mercyful Project in St. Pete where I participate in a program called “doggy day out” where you take a shelter dog out for the day and give them a memorable experience! I decided to leave corporate America to pursue more animal time! I’m currently working part-time for my boyfriend while also going to school, so I have plenty of flexibility to devote to your pets. I’m available on weekends and weekdays for walks, drop-ins, in home sitting :) Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. About: I have a passion for all types of dogs and cats. I have experience with both small and large dogs, and all ages as well. I will care for your dog or cat like they are my own. I recently lost my 17 year old mini poodle, and would enjoy the fun and joy that pets bring. She was a rescue, and I have worked with a couple of Rescue Groups from my hometown in Philly. I live in Palm Harbor and have watched dogs in many local areas including Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Clearwater and Trinity.
