About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for them. Growing up, I was the person friends, family, and neighbors trusted to pet sit, and that’s continued into adulthood. I’ve also worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained hands on experience caring for multiple dogs, understanding different temperaments, and maintaining a safe, structured environment. I have experience with large breeds and am comfortable handling big dogs, as well as administering medication when needed. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and I understand how important it is to keep them safe, happy, and on their normal routine. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and love while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and work from home, which allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. Because I build pet care into my daily routine, I’m able to stay attentive, stick to your pet’s schedule, and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I provide a calm, structured home environment and intentionally care for only up to two families at a time, allowing every dog to receive plenty of individual attention, love, and care. I offer complimentary meet and greets before every boarding stay so we can get to know each other, discuss your pup’s routine, and make sure we’re the perfect fit. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and bedtime routines. Your pup will enjoy supervised playtime in my spacious backyard, walks, enrichment, plenty of love and attention, and a calm home environment. If they get muddy or messy during their stay, I’m happy to give them a bath with your permission. I provide a clean XL crate and cozy dog bed for dogs that are comfortable using one, but I understand every dog has a different routine. If your pup normally sleeps in bed and you’re comfortable with it, they’re welcome to snuggle up with me at night. My goal is to make every guest feel as safe, loved, and at home as possible. You’ll receive photo updates throughout the day, plus a bedtime photo each evening so you can relax knowing your best friend is happy and well cared for. If I ever notice anything out of the ordinary, I’ll contact you right away.
“That’s Oliver Stephanie was awesome great updates and we could tell when we got home he was well taken care of. I think we finally found a sitter he is comfortable with.”

“Regina is a very experienced dog walker/pet sitter. Her professionalism is apparent from her first visit. She is not someone who walks dogs to make a few bucks...this is a business she takes very seriously. My dog very much enjoys her daily visits and is very excited when Regina arrives. She makes us aware of any concerns she may have with my dogs heath or if there is any concerns at my house during the visit, which gives me peace of mind. I recommend Regina to anyone looking for a professional and reliable caregiver for their pet.”
“Melissa has been such a great sitter for my puppy, Ollie. She goes above and beyond my expectations of a dog sitter. Not only does she take Ollie for walks and plays with him, but she also supports me by answering any questions or advice I have regarding his care or health. As a first time dog owner, that was very much appreciated! She is considerate of Ollie’s and my needs, and is timely with providing any schedule changes. Also, she takes the most amazing pics of Ollie - I always look forward to them!”

“Adrianna is very awesome with my puppies. She is very attentive and responds quickly and is punctual. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best care for their pets!! Thank you!!”

“She was on time for dog walks and judging by the way Freyja jumped up to greet her when she arrived, my dog really liked her. Appreciate her helping me out after spraining my ankle.”

“Colton was wonderful walking our dogs multiple times a day as I recovered from surgery. He was always on-time, easy to communicate with and reliable. He was friendly with my dogs and my spoiled dogs were happy to have their walks and behaved themselves with Colton. Would definitely hire him again and already have.”

About: Hi there! My name is Jennifer , and caring for animals has been at the heart of my life for over 30 years. I've owned and loved both cats and dogs since 1993, and for the past 13 years, I've proudly served as the Cat Foster Coordinator for St. Francis Society Animal Rescue - five of those years as Vice President of the organization as well. During this time, i've personally fostered over 1100 kittens and cats and successfully placed them in loving forever homes. I've also fostered several dogs, and I care deeply for animals of all species, sizes, and personalities. In addition to daily care, I have extensive experience with medical needs. I can administer subcutaneous fluids, vaccines, oral and injectable medications, and have provided specialized care for two cats with megaesophagus. I've managed post-operative recover for animals after leg and tail amputations, eye enucleations, spay/neuters, and more. I'm confident and calm with both routine and complex care, and I always prioritize comfort, safety, and gentle handling. My goal as a pet sitter is simple: to treat your pets like I treat my own - with love, patience, and attention to detail. Whether you have a playful pup, a shy senior, or a kitty with extra medical needs, i'm here to help you feel confident they're in caring, capable hands. Pet care is a central part of my daily life - it's not something I squeeze in , it's something I've built my schedule around. With years of experience caring for both my own animals and others', I've developed a routine that prioritizes timely feedings, walks, medications, and play or cuddle time. I'm used to mornings, afternoons, and evenings and am flexible based on each pet's needs. When caring for pets in their own environment, i respect their routines, space, and comfort. I follow all instructions carefully - from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and walk routes. I provide companionship, keep everything clean and tidy, and send regular updates with photos so you know your pets are safe and loved. I'm calm, confident, and experienced with a variety of temperaments, including shy cats and energetic dogs.

“Julia came through for me on a day when I was really sick and could not take my baby out for walk! Through out the walk, Julia checked in with me and shared pictures of her and Mia as the walked around our neighborhood. Thank you Julia for responding and accepting my last minute request! I will surely reach out again if needed!!”

About: I have had a lot of experience caring for dogs throughout my life with all sizes and breeds. My wife and I work full time from home and able to give a lot of love. She is the "run & play" and I am the "snuggle and cuddle." We have a small rescue puppy who loves to play hard and sleep hard. We do lots of walks and she gets along great with other dogs. We will always do a meet-and-greet before we confirm to watch your pup to make sure it is a good fit. My wife and I are both working full time at home with a lot of flexibility. We try to keep a quiet, easy going home during work hours and playtime or walk every two hours. We are happy to have pups in the bed, furniture, etc. We do request a meet and greet but mostly so we get to know your pup!

Colton has been absolutely amazing with my two Frenchies, Vaan and Krypto! From day one, it was clear how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. He’s reliable, communicative, and always goes the extra mile to make sure they’re happy, safe, and well-exercised. Vaan and Krypto absolutely adore him, and I have total peace of mind knowing they’re in such great hands. He’s attentive to their personalities and needs, and it really shows in how excited they get every time they see him. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and fantastic with dogs, I can’t recommend Colton enough. Truly a 5-star experience every time!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
