“Lisa did a wonderful job watching my furry son. Took him on walks, updates and pics on how it was going since he isn't away from his Mom and Dad much. Communication was solid and I would recommend her.”

“My dog was comfortable as soon as I dropped her off, and I could tell she had so much fun from the photos and videos. It's a blessing to be out-of-town and feel confident that your dog is in good hands. Thank you so much!!”

“This was Benji’s first visit, and I believe he absolutely enjoyed himself. I love how attentive Norma was for not only Benji but for all the furry little ones she had in her care. If you’re looking for an attentive and caring sitters for your furry baby look no further. I will be booking again.”

“Cece was a 10/10 sitter! We felt so comfortable the whole time our puppy was in her care. She sent daily videos and pictures and was very quick to reply when I checked in. Our pup had so much fun playing with the other dogs. Cece is such a dog lover and it really shows in the way she runs her business. We will absolutely be using her again anytime we need a dog sitter. Thanks Cece!!”

About: I have experience with my own animals, family members pets while they’re away for days or weeks on end, co workers pets, etc. I have been taking care of fur babies for ten plus years just including personal and family. All animals love me as I love them! I treat them as little babies always🩷 I’m currently a stay at home mom so looking for work during school hours and some weekends. I love all types and sizes of animals! :) I treat them like literal pampered babies lol, with lots of love, attention, always making sure they’re fed, have water, clean, safe, etc. no fur baby will ever be harmed in my care🫶🏼
“My 7 month old puppy loved staying with Yaniris! Bentley stayed with Yaniris for 4 nights. She was so patient with Bentley especially when he was homesick. She made sure that he ate all his meals and took him outside ALOT. I received pictures and videos everyday of my sweet pup. Definitely recommend Yaniris as a great animal sitter.”

“We left our 2 dogs with this wonderful couple for multiple days. Their home is clean and comfortable. Our dogs came home happier than ever! Can't beat the great communication and peace of mind. Will use them again!”

“Stephen was a great caretaker for our dog! He was communicative and flexible and updated us with lots of photos of how she was doing. Bodhi was really sweet and friendly and welcomed her with ease too!”

“She and her dog Willa are the best! They took care of my dog for a long weekend and he couldn’t have been in better care of and tuckered out from having such fun with Willa. Communication was excellent and she doesn’t “watch” a kennel’s worth of dogs…which is nice for a first experience for him. Really glad I found her and couldn’t recommend anyone better!”

“I felt very secure with Linda taking care of my dog over the weekend. My dog immediately took to her and was happy and affectionate towards her when he returned also. I know he got a lot of snuggle time which he needed.”

“Viviana was great with Milo! They had a routine down and she treated him like her own. Milo sometimes won’t eat in new places and she did her best to get him to eat. She even used some wet food she had, which was really appreciated. Will definitely book again with Viviana when we need it!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Oldsmar
Kristy provided a great and worry free stay for my dog Mia! I am always nervous using new Rovers, as Mia has become dog reactive, but Kristy followed my instructions and continued with positive reinforcement training so Mia can continue to make progress. As such, she had no negative reactions to other dogs on walks during her stay! Kristy also provided me with a daily photo and update each morning to check in. She lives in a lovely, quiet and walkable neighborhood and her kids were gentle and clearly very comfortable with dogs. I would absolutely recommend Kristy and will be re-booking with her again in the future!

These guys are wonderful! They shared details and pictures all throughout Millie's stay, and I appreciate that they tell you the good and the not-so-good details because it shows they are very trustworthy and truly care about your dog. We will definitely be reaching out again!

Karen is the absolute best. She takes care of our pup Leia like she was her own. Her communication is amazing, she sends plenty of picture updates, and I can tell our pup is truly comfortable and relaxed every time we pick her up. Being able to know your dog is going to be comfortable, happy and even excited to see their sitter is such a great piece of mind. And Karen gives that to us every time. Thank you Karen!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
