“Anjie was so great with Remy! She was very communicative and accommodating. She even took Remy on a few outings (which I know he loved!) and took the time to brush any debris out of his fur when they came back. I felt so reassured that Remy was well taken care of while I was away!”

“Lucy had a great visit with Katherine! I could tell she was well loved and spoiled while there. Great communication with picture updates. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Betsy communicates well and provides a loving home away from home. A large fenced yard for lots of running and playtime helped get my pup's energy out. And she was so attentive to ensure my pup was comfortable on his first stay with her as he is quite anxious. And pup loved her!”

“Courtney was very sweet and took great care of my pup! She exceeded expectations by taking my dogo to the doggy park and for frequent walks. Her communication throughout the day was great and she took the best photos of my pup interacting with others. Would definitely use her as a sitter again!”

“Christina, you are a life saver! Thank you so much for allowing Maple to stay with you and your group of doggo friends all day. You were so very nice and accommodating! Maple was one tired puppy after playing all day! Thank you for the pictures, updates and allowing her to visit with you even though her dads were late!”

“Maxine is outstanding when it comes to caring for your fur baby. She’s kind, compassionate, caring and loving. She kept us informed on our fur baby activities daily along with sending us pictures of our baby to let us know she was in great spirit. I will highly recommend Maxine to anyone that’s looking for a dog sitter to keep your day when you have to travel or just one a daily journey.”

About: I have had Willow for a few years now and I enjoy dog sitting our friends and family dogs when they are out of town or need a day sitter! Willow enjoys having company and playing with other dogs, she still has a very energetic personality at 4yrs old. I am good at helping train dogs, I can follow your rules and commands to make sure while you are away your dog doesn’t lose any of the skills you have been teaching them. I have a very calm and peaceful home, no little kids. It’s very nice for senior dogs who are very mellow. I work from Home and it makes it very easy to walk dogs with a routine and feed them. I work from home full-time, it’s easy to follow a routine. 2-3 days in the evening I take my 13yr old to train for approx 2hrs fenced small yard, a deck with a pool. My dog does not get into the pool water. We take her on walks everyday in our neighborhood.

“Seaura was amazing!! We will definitely be trusting her with our baby girl again. This is our first time getting a sitter for our dog and Seaura made everything easy and smooth. She made us feel incredibly comfortable throughout the whole trip, sent picture updates, and she was also very generously flexible with the scheduling. You can tell she really cares for your pets :)”

“Cassandra was amazing with my two dogs! She was able to watch them for me with late notice while I went out of town for a funeral. One of my dogs is 13 and has some medical issues and was she able to give him his medicine and provide him with the additional care he needed. I got lots of updates and pictures of happy, spoiled puppies. I would absolutely have her watch them again. I feel very lucky I found her!!”

Wish I could give Inna 10 stars!! She and Vadym were WONDERFUL taking care of our Jodie; she can be a handful especially with eating but Jodie ate well during her stay with them! (First time Jodie did that and we have used other sitters through Rover without success.) Inna and Vadym sent us lots of pictures and videos of Jodie; it was obvious how much they adored her and treated her like she was theirs!🥰❤️ We will definitely be re-booking with them and I HIGHLY recommend them as sitters. to anyone.
Suzie was absolutely amazing. I do not leave Roscoe much. I work from home and we do not travel much. He had the best time with Suzie. I received pictures and messages on him consistently. Roscoe was a family member in their home not a visitor. I would absolutely recommend Suzie to anyone.

Macarena was amazing! I would use her again and again. She went above and beyond for me. More walks than I requested and some training with my pup too. Gnocchi came home so tuckered out and I could tell she loved her time with Macarena and her pup. Bonus!! She sent the absolute cutest pictures of Gnocchi.

These guys are wonderful! They shared details and pictures all throughout Millie's stay, and I appreciate that they tell you the good and the not-so-good details because it shows they are very trustworthy and truly care about your dog. We will definitely be reaching out again!

Karen is the absolute best. She takes care of our pup Leia like she was her own. Her communication is amazing, she sends plenty of picture updates, and I can tell our pup is truly comfortable and relaxed every time we pick her up. Being able to know your dog is going to be comfortable, happy and even excited to see their sitter is such a great piece of mind. And Karen gives that to us every time. Thank you Karen!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
