Pet care is my main focus, and since I work from home, I’m able to plan my schedule around the dogs in my care. Between my own pets and my boarding and daycare guests, I’m already used to the daily routines and responsibilities that come with caring for animals. I spend much of my day at home with the dogs and prioritize making sure their needs are met throughout their stay. I intentionally keep my boarding small, accepting a maximum of 4 dogs at a time. By limiting the number of guest dogs, I can maintain a calmer, more manageable environment and give each dog more individual attention. I also consider each dog’s personality and compatibility when determining whether a booking is a good fit. I choose to prioritize the experience I provide rather than accommodate as many dogs as possible. Keeping my availability limited means fewer boarding spots, but it allows me to dedicate more time, attention, and supervision to the dogs in my care. My rates reflect the personalized, small scale experience I strive to offer. Your dog will stay in my home, where I prioritize cleanliness, comfort, and a welcoming environment. My goal is to help every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at ease while their family is away. I’m home with the dogs for majority the day, which allows me to spend time with them, monitor how they’re doing, and provide attention throughout their stay. I want your dog to feel included, cared for, and comfortable rather than simply having a place to stay. Every dog has their own personality, preferences, and routine. I take the time to learn about your dog’s needs, habits, and comfort level so I can make their stay as positive as possible. I also welcome information about feeding schedules, sleeping arrangements, favorite activities, and anything else that helps me care for your dog. I’m Pet CPR and first aid certified, and I take the responsibility of caring for your pet seriously. Before a stay, I encourage owners to share any important information about their dog’s health, behavior, routines, and needs. Meet and greets are a great opportunity for us to get acquainted and discuss whether my home is a suitable fit for your dog. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else can take some getting used to. I want owners to feel comfortable knowing how their pets are doing, and I aim to keep communication clear throughout the stay, including updates and photos. My own dog, Stormy, and my cat, Kirby, are also part of our household. I consider the comfort and compatibility of every animal in the home when accepting bookings, with the goal of maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. About: I have had dogs, birds, hamsters, rabbits cats, ferrets starting around age 10. I love all animals and will care for yours as if they were my own. I have two cats. A Torti and a Tuxedo. I also have 4 parrots. I love them all equally and have a special and individual relationship with each one so I understand how to care for different personalities and needs. I keep the birds separated in the house for safety and comfort and spend time with them all so they feel special as their personalities require it. I would care for your babies the same way. Whether it’s a high-energy hike for your Lab or a patient, quiet visit for a shy senior cat, I tailor my care to every animal's unique personality. About: I own 5 dogs myself: 1 German Shepard, 1 Boxer, 1 chihuahuas, and 2 mutts. I also own a long hair cat who was a stray we found, and a 2 year old ferret. I know how to feed all these animals, do litter, take small and big dogs on walks as well as play with them to get the energy out that is needed. I’ve dog sat in the past and been doing it for a while. My family and I are involved with foster dogs, so I can be around many different breeds and be okay with them. I know how to clip nails as well as even bath them if that is ever something that is needed. I also can give a good brushing if needed with a long haired cat or dog. I’m very flexible with what I can do, I do have a full time job and in college, so as long as I can leave and come back after a few hours i’m basically there as much as needed. I have 5 dogs of my own at the house, would prefer for the dog not to come as the shepard doesn’t like new dogs, especially bigger ones.
