“Shelby looked after my cat Birdie while I was away for a week and did a tremendous job of taking care of her and also easing my worries. Highly recommend and plan to work with again when I go on future trips.”

“Gina was awesome with our border collie. She kept us updated throughout the whole stay and was very flexible on times and our baby’s needs. Would 100% recommend to my friends and family!”
“Ryan was so great! I have three dogs. Two pits and a rotty. My rotty is 13 and limps. He is who I worried about the most but Ryan was so patient with him, helped him up and gave him all the pets.”

“Samantha took great care of Sheba. Was on time and provided details of what was going on. She was even able to extend the time I needed her on a last minute notice. I will definitely use her to take care of Sheba and would highly recommend her to others”

“Trinity was the absolute best! She was timely for our cat visits and left the place looking perfect! Her communication was very much appreciated and she not only was prompt to notify with any questions or concerns but also left cute pictures daily to look at. My cats seemed to love her and I will definitely use her again for any sitting needs as well as highly recommended her to friends and family. Thank you Trinity for making my week away a breeze!”
“Laura helped us with our puppy while we were visiting Busch Gardens. She came to our camper, which I know is different, so I appreciated that. She walked him and took him to the dog park. She even came early one day because we could see from the camera that he kept barking.”

“Last minute hero coming to help on Thanksgiving. Incredibly knowledgeable and competent with dogs- knew exactly what to do for our puppy. Lovely person, very kind and respectful of our home. Strongly recommend!!”

“Patricia is just the best! She is our number 1 go to. Our dogs are always well taken care of and happy. We never feel that we need to worry about our pups when she watches them for us.”

“It’s good to have found a cat person on a dog-centered app. Emily helped greatly in taking care of our pets while we were away for an extended amount but also helped immensely bridging the gap of us not being there with Grace and Maison. The photos, and “briefing's” kept us connected and put smile on our faces knowing our cats personalities and being able to see from the perspectives of another. We looked forward to reading and seeing the photos. The level of communication coming from Emily showed that she naturally adores animals. Emily, that shined through. Thank you for your service, moving forward you are our go to. I’m sure Grace and Maison wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you.”

“I highly recommend Amber! She was available on short notice and scheduled a meet and greet right away. She was very communicative at every visit and my dogs were in love with her from the first meeting.”

“During our initial meet and great I could tell that Pam loves cats. My cat, who usually runs from everyone she doesn't know, loved Pam as well. This made me feel completely comfortable leaving my cat in Pam's care. Receiving pictures everyday really helped put me at ease as well. I would highly recommend Pam and will definitely be reaching out to her next time I need a cat sitter!”

“Kelly is wonderful! This was our first time using Rover and we were concerned because we have two finicky cats, a boy and a girl. They are loving cats, however they are very apprehensive until they get to know a person. The first time (Kelly) walked in our home they trusted her at first sight. She followed our directions explicitly, she loved and played with the kitties every time she was here, she sent us beautiful pictures so we knew they were safe. She kept our home tidy and neat, she is hands down our ‘go to’ caregiver for our kitty cats!”

“Donna has been an absolutely amazing caregiver for our cat! Poly enjoyed every minute of her time with her. We really appreciated the multiple daily pictures and detailed messages from Donna about Poly each day. She went above and beyond expectations and provided peace of mind to us while away. We will be using Donna again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality care for their fur babies.”

Kelly is the 4th cat sitter I’ve had and she will be my last. My cat thrived under her care and I didn’t spend my vacation worrying about my cat’s care. My cat has had trouble bonding with other sitters but not Kelly. She is wonderful with cats and their owners alike.
Leah is wonderful…. super reliable, punctual, and attentive….Leah made sure my cat had fresh food, water, and a clean box every day, plus plenty of love and affection….the updates and photos she sent gave me complete peace of mind while I was away….I highly recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy pet sitter!

Trinity was an excellent pet sitter! She was incredibly kind, responsive, and took the time to meet with me beforehand for a meet-and-greet, which made me feel very comfortable leaving my pets in her care. I would absolutely recommend Trinity to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter, and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!

Donna was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond while caring for our sweet kitty, Mimi. Not only did she shower her with love and attention, but she was also incredibly flexible and accommodating while we were dealing with a construction crew working in our home. Donna handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Her daily notes and photos were wonderful and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from every update that Mimi was happy, comfortable, and truly loved. We had complete confidence knowing our kitty was in such caring hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family. Thank you, Donna, for taking such incredible care of Mimi!

Jennifer was wonderful! She has such amazing experience working with cats. My cat, Luna, had gotten a cut on her paw and I had to rush her to the vet before I left for vacation. Jennifer made sure to pay special attention to Luna to make sure she wasn’t limping or hurt. My cats were a little shy around her at first but they warmed up to her. I’ll absolutely hire Jennifer again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
