Reliable Animal Lover
I’ve been caring for pets for about 10 years, from my teenage years through adulthood, and I’ve been lucky enough to work with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. I grew up with dogs ranging from Standard Poodles to Jack Russell Terriers, and I’ve helped neighbors, friends, and family with their pets for as long as I can remember. I also have experience with rescue animals and pets who need a little extra support. My own Great Pyrenees came to me with pneumonia and a chronic skin condition, and nursing him back to health taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to manage ongoing medical needs. I’ve cared for senior dogs, administered medications, and supported pets with special routines. Along with dogs, I’ve looked after many cats over the years and feel comfortable with everything from feeding and playtime to litter box care. Overall, I offer a calm, dependable presence and truly enjoy making each pet feel safe, understood, and cared for.

Grace was a pleasure to work with and I was so at ease traveling, knowing my kitties were in great care. I especially appreciate how punctual and adherent Grace was to my feeding requests, the thoroughness of her check-ins, all the photos, and her overall sweet and caring demeanor. My kitties are my pride and joy and knowing they received great care while I was away is what matters most. I highly recommend Grace and will definitely be using her again!

This was our first time booking with Grace, and we highly recommend her! She was prompt and followed all directions including meds and routines, and kept us well informed about our dogs and how they were doing (Ellie 15, and Cookie 11) through texts and photos. She was gentle and showed much understanding about older dogs with our fragile "senior" Ellie, and was patient with our fearful rescue dog Cookie. Ellie took to Grace right away, and by the end of her visits, Cookie was allowing Grace to pet and play with her--even sitting across her lap! Loved to see this. We felt like our fur babies were in great capable hands--we will definitely use her again. :-)

I have a flexible schedule that makes fitting pet care into my routine easy and dependable. I work from home one day a week, and my evenings and weekends are always open. I also have free time every afternoon at lunch and can stop by before work for morning visits. Whether you need regular check-ins, evening drop-ins, or weekend support, I have the availability to provide consistent and reliable care.

When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space, and your pet, with the same respect I give my own. I always double-check doors, gates, and locks, follow your instructions closely, and keep routines consistent to help your pet feel secure. I’m familiar with crate training, leash handling, medication routines, cleaning up accidents, feeding schedules, and litter box care. Communication is also important to me, so you can expect updates and photos during every visit. My goal is to make sure your pet gets the attention, love, and mental stimulation they need while giving you peace of mind that everything is handled safely and responsibly.

A typical day
Mental and physical stimulation is very important for pets. I love to go on walks around the neighborhood and take my time with the dogs to allow them to sniff around and take in all of their surroundings. Indoors, with cats and dogs, I will play with them and pet them and give them all the love they need!
