25 years loving and caring for pets
I've had a passion for animals all my life. I've had dogs of different breeds since I was a kid, and I've had cats and small animals since I was about 16 years old. I interned at Hometown Veterinary Hospital (Springfield, MO) during high school, I volunteered as an adoption counselor and dog walker with Tallahassee Animal Services (Tallahassee, FL) during college, and I currently volunteer as an adoption counselor with St. Francis Society Animal Rescue (Tampa, FL) and I walk dogs for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Throughout my volunteering experience, and with my own pets, I have cared for pets of all ages, those with special needs such as asthma and epilepsy, and even those older pets that just need a little extra love and care. I have a soft spot for elderly animals as I cared for my own two poodles, who recently passed at the ages of 16 and 18 years old, by giving them their meds twice a day and ensuring that they were loved, comfortable, and not exerting themselves too much.

A pet's comfort is my number one priority. I will ensure that their daily routine continues as usual while you are away. I'll give them extra love and care by taking the dogs on their favorite walking routes or going on a field trip to their favorite park. As for the cats, I'll give them lots of love, play with their favorite toys, and give them their favorite treats. As of now, I will not be able to do boarding because of my living situation.

Leah is wonderful…. super reliable, punctual, and attentive….Leah made sure my cat had fresh food, water, and a clean box every day, plus plenty of love and affection….the updates and photos she sent gave me complete peace of mind while I was away….I highly recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy pet sitter!

Schedule
I currently work full time from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, so I am able to do drop ins and walks after work. I am available most weekends for drop ins and walks.
