Pets Are Family
I am recently retired and have owned cats and dogs for years. I am currently doing in-home dog sitting for friends so that they can travel. I treat their pets like they are part of the family. I currently have two cats, both strays, that I took in and took care of their medical situation and now they live with me. I had two dogs, both pit bull mixes. Both of them died a couple years ago at the age of 15 1/2. I have not been able to get another dog as I’m just not ready yet emotionally, but I would love to spend time with other peoples’ dogs and cats.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure large fenced-in yard. I supervise the dogs when they’re outside, I don’t just leave them out there. I’ll also play with them if they are up to it. I am not currently looking to board dogs or cats in my home because of my two cats.

Schedule
I am recently retired. I drive a neighbor to doctor and lab appointments during the week, but I have plenty of time in-between to spend quality time with your cats or dogs.

- Let me know if your pet has any dietary restrictions or is not allowed treats. Also, if there is anything special that they like, such as being scratched behind the ears or under their chin. I am experienced at giving dogs injections under the skin as I had a dog that needed that when he grew old. Also, I’m pretty good at giving pills. Just cover those sort of things with me and I can tell you what I can do and cannot do. The dogs that have boarded with me in the past love being with me. I kind of spoil them. I tell their owners what happens at grandma‘s house stays at grandma’s house, lol!
