Pets Are Family
I am recently retired and have owned cats and dogs for years. I am currently doing in-home dog sitting for friends so that they can travel. I treat their pets like they are part of the family. I currently have two cats, both strays, that I took in and took care of their medical situation and now they live with me. I had two dogs, both pit bull mixes. Both of them died a couple years ago at the age of 15 1/2. I have not been able to get another dog as I’m just not ready yet emotionally, but I would love to spend time with other peoples’ dogs and cats.

Zeitplan
I am recently retired. I drive a neighbor to doctor and lab appointments during the week, but I have plenty of time in-between to spend quality time with your cats or dogs.

I have a secure large fenced-in yard. I supervise the dogs when they’re outside, I don’t just leave them out there. I’ll also play with them if they are up to it. I am not currently looking to board dogs or cats in my home because of my two cats.

Ein typischer Tag
When I let the dogs outside I stay outside with them. I make sure there is water available. If I have them on a leash, I let them stop and sniff as much as they want. This is their time to relax. If they want to play fetch, I will throw the ball until they tire of it or my arm gets tired. If they want to just be petted or snuggle for a few minutes, I love that too. And I know most dogs love belly rubs. Of course, if they’re allowed snacks, I’ll make sure they get those too!
