I will treat your fur babies like my own! I have a miniature dachshund named Roxi who shares my birthday. I had a dog sitter and walker in the earlier stages of raising Roxi but she moved away, unfortunately. I would now love to offer the same assistance to someone else as my schedule allows. I've cared for senior dogs, blind or partially blind dogs and administered oral medication as needed. I've also watched dogs who are away from their family for the first time and I specialize in making everyone feel at ease during the stay. I pride myself in taking lots of pictures and sending regular updates. Although I grew up in a household with large dogs, small dogs hold a special place in my heart. I only accept small dogs (15 pounds or under). I call them "forever babies" because they don't outgrow the cute puppy size.

Jodi and Mark took great care of coco and pepper. Pepper took a bit of time adjusting but they were patient with her and she slowly came around. They are very nice people and have a lovely family.
Jodi was a great dog sitter. She gave many updates during Wrigley’s stay and sent me plenty of pictures which was nice. My fur baby came home happy and tired. Definitely would recommend!
I can’t say enough good things about Jodi and the excellent care she provides. She’s watched our dog on numerous occasions, and every time she does a fantastic job. We always feel comfortable leaving our fur baby with her and know that she will treat him like her own. He has bad separation anxiety and tends to go on hunger strikes and won’t sleep in his crate like he does at home. Jodi is always so loving and patient with him. She lets him sleep in the bed and cuddle with her all day. She is also very diligent about getting him to eat and taking him on walks to cheer him up. Her sweet dog Roxi is a great companion and gets along really well with our dog. I never have to wonder how he’s doing or what he’s up to…we get regular updates throughout the day for every day of his stay. He’s always in good spirits when we pick him up, and as much as he’s excited to see us, when he gets home we can tell he misses Jodi and Roxi. Booking is a breeze with Jodi. She’s always incredibly responsive and willing to accommodate our schedule. I would hands down, without a doubt, recommend Jodi for dog sitting.
I am always apprehensive about leaving my pup with anyone, especially overnight. He is a momma's boy and doesn't enjoy being alone. I saw Jodi had great reviews and a perfect situation working from home, so we arranged a three night sleepover. My pup fell in love with Jodi and her family. She sent lots of pictures and kept me very informed. I felt very secure the entire time, and am looking forward to the next one! Thank you, Jodi!!!
Jodi took excellent care of Coco and Harlee. She sent updated pictures throughout their stay. They also loved playing with Roxi.
Jodi is AMAZING! This was the first time leaving my pup, and I felt so comfortable leaving him with Jodi and Roxi. Jodi sent me pictures and updates throughout the week. I will definitely be using her again. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Our daily/weekly schedule I work from home 3 days a week so there will be plenty of human interaction time with your pup. My dog Roxi has separation anxiety so I know how important it is to limit the amount of time dogs spend at home alone if possible. Your fur baby will accompany us on our usual morning, evening and occasional midday walks. I'm happy to layer in additional walks/potty breaks as needed.

We offer free unlimited belly rubs and will enforce any rules you have for your dogs, whether crate trained or not, allowed on furniture or not.

A typical day
A typical day My townhouse has a nice sidewalk which is where I walk Roxi in the morning and evenings. If boarding your dog, he/she will become part of the family on those walks/potty breaks where we catch up with all the friendly neighborhood pups. I'd be more than happy to take your fur baby out and about with me as well on our outings. We love car rides, parks and a nice dog friendly restaurant or local event.

- I would love to know if your dog is good with other dogs since I also have a dog myself. What is your dog's temperament? Are they shy, hyperactive, aggressive or laid back? For hyperactive dogs extra care is needed during the introduction stage with Roxi because she's more shy and laid back and submissive. Good with people? We want to ensure the safety of my family as well and cannot accept aggressive dogs. Is your dog up to date on vaccines? Spayed? Neutered? Good with car rides? This will be valuable information before taking your dog out and about with me.
