Angie's Furry Family Retreat
I am a compassionate professional with a playful side, and I am excited to meet you and your pet! I have been pet-sitting on Rover for over 10 years. I will pet sit dogs, cats, rabbits, and most other small animals. My experience comes from owning pets over the years and from pet-sitting for friends and family. I have had a pet swan, birds, squirrels, ducks, rabbits, cats, and of course, dogs! I have some wonderful animal stories that no one would believe if I didn't have the photos to prove it! I seem to have a way with animals and have been called the "pet angel". I was a volunteer and a foster parent for the Humane Society of Pinellas, and I currently foster and volunteer for the Suncoast Animal League. I have rehabilitated and released injured and abandoned squirrels, wild rabbits, ducks, and opossums. I currently have 4 dogs and 2 rabbits. I completely understand the love pet parents have for their pets and how worrisome it can be to travel without them. PETS ARE FAMILY! You want to know your furry family member is being cared for by a kind individual you can trust. I am happy to provide any references and I welcome the opportunity to meet you and your precious pets. I am confident my smile and warm demeanor will help put your mind at ease. In addition to pet sitting I manage an apartment community M-F and am away from home 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PLEASE NOTE, I AM UNABLE TO COME HOME FOR A LUNCHTIME POTTY BREAK. However, I can assure you that your pet will get plenty of play time, love and attention in the mornings and evenings before and after my day job. :) If you prefer to board your pet in the comfort of a house rather than a kennel please contact me. In my home your dogs will be free to romp around my fenced yard, take a dip in the pool and relax on the furniture. My pool also has a safety fence to ensure your pets' safety. I also do drop in visits in the mornings, evenings and/or weekends if you have cats or small animals that you wish to keep in your home while you travel. I am eager to make you feel comfortable and I want to make your travel plans as simple as possible. I offer pick up and drop off services and am flexible with drop off and pick up times. I simply want to share my love with other animals while earning an extra income and meeting animal loving people. Contact me to discuss your needs. Let me love your pets while you're away! My experience administering medication I am comfortable giving oral medications and I have also given insulin shots.

Angie took great care of our dog. She was prompt with replies, sent photos, and made the process very easy. We were very comfortable having our dog stay with her and would seek her services again in the future.

Angie was amazing! I needed someone to watch Percy for the >day while I was away, and she made the whole process so easy and stress-free. She’s incredibly friendly, and you can tell she clearly loves dogs. I could tell he was in great hands, and that gave me so much peace of mind. 🐾💛

Zeitplan
In addition to pet sitting I manage an apartment community Monday through Friday, so I am away from my home between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. However, I am an early riser so your pets get plenty of play time and socialization for a couple hours in the morning before I leave. I am available for drop in visits in the mornings, evenings and all day on the weekends.

I live in a three bedroom home so pets can be separated if necessary. I have baby gates and crates for those pets who are crate trained. I have a fenced yard and a safety fence around my pool. I also have cameras in multiple rooms so that I may peak in on the pets I'm boarding.

Ein typischer Tag
Depending on how many drop in visits you would like, the time of day you need drop in visits and how many other appointments I may have in a day will determine how much time I can spend with your pet. We can discuss your desires and I will give you an honest overview of my schedule. I will follow your routine to the best of my ability and we will do whatever fun things your pet enjoys. I can walk your pet on his or her favorite routes or simply let them play in your yard; you just tell me what you'd like. I am eager to see your pet while you are away and want to develop a friendship and bond with him or her. I want your pet to love and trust me and look forward to seeing me until you get home. I want to be your furry family members next favorite human and I want you to feel comfortable leaving your pet in my care. As for boarding, pets are usually fully entertained by my dogs or other furry guests in my home. I have a large toy box full of squeaky toys, tug of war ropes and balls. They are permitted to romp around my yard and on the furniture! Water loving dogs are also welcome to take a dip in the pool on hot days! I live near Sheffield Park in Oldsmar so we have great places to walk! Extra house-sitting services ABSOLUTELY! I want to keep busy!
