About: As a cat parent, I know the struggle that parting on trips brings. I have found they do best at home where they are most comfortable with a trusted caretaker. I am in college but rather flexible so I can help you on a case by case basis. My schedule changes due to the nature of classes but if you reach out I can almost certainly help! I offer walks, drop bys and overnights for clients in which I care for your animal and leave with no trace evidence of me ever having been there. Besides the happy animal!

“Victoria sat at our house with our senior cat and dog while we went on vacation for 8 days. She showed up when she said she would, she communicated very well with many updates and pictures throughout the day (as we are worriers), and asked questions for things she was unsure of. She followed our care guide to the letter and our babies, although very happy to have us back, seemed well taken care of. I would 100% recommend her for taking care of your pets!”

“Stephanie was absolutely FANTASTIC! We had a last-minute issue with our sitter, and Stephanie stepped in with less than 12 hours' notice—truly a lifesaver. From the moment she arrived, our dog adored her! She was incredibly attentive and made sure our pup felt loved and cared for every step of the way. It’s clear she has a genuine passion for animals. We couldn't be more grateful and will definitely be booking with her again!C”

“Lucas did a great job caring for our lab. He engages well with the dog and seems to genuinely like caring for him. He was very respectful of our home and communicates well. Lucas is very responsible and trustworthy. Highly recommend him!!!”
About: I really treat every pet like they’re my own. I take the time to get to know their routines, what makes them feel safe, and what brings them joy—whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just some quiet company. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I also recently raised and trained a puppy in the last 4 years. I am pretty flexible for the most part! I work a remote job so its easy for me to be here and there. Just really depends on your needs. It really just depends on what the owner prefers! I am all about sticking to routine to keep the pups happy and relaxed. I follow instructions very closely.

“Layla was awesome, probably one of the best sitters we've had. You could tell Diesel had so much fun with her stay, with all the pictures and videos she updated us with. Would highly recommend and do it again!”

“Joy and Casey were AWESOME!!! They took such great care of my babies! Joy sent me updates the entire time, including pics and videos! I was very nervous to leave my babies with “strangers” but they made it very comfortable for me, and the dogs clearly love them both!! I will for sure be using Joy again.”
About: I have been pet sitting for as long as I can remember, for neighbors and friends. I love all animals and have 2 of my own. I will give your pets the love and care they deserve, I know how special they are having 2 myself. I currently have a flexible work schedule, working part time at a restaurant while I am learning how to silversmithing! I can pick up a few hours here and there and I can also do overnights! I provide care for everyone’s pets the way I would care for my own because they are the most important thing. I will provide a safe loving environment for your pets to feel at home while you are away :)
“Leah was absolutely fantastic! She took wonderful care of our animals while we were in Costa Rica and kept us updated so we knew the dogs were doing great in her care. She was also very respectful of our home and left it spotless. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely book her again.”

About: As a lifelong dog lover and owner for 10 years, I’m now embarking on a new chapter after 24 wonderful years in Chicago. Following a long career in advertising sales, I’m seeking a slower-paced, more fulfilling path — one that lets me combine my reliability with my love for animals. At 49, I bring maturity, responsibility, and genuine care to every pup I watch, ensuring your they are looked after as if they were my own. Also, the doodle you see in some pics is my amazingly chill, gets along with every living thing, sidekick Lambeau. So please note your dog(s) must be okay with other dogs. I'm currently taking some time off and won't be going back to remote work until the fall '26, at the earliest. So I'm very flexible with my time at the moment. I live in an apartment complex (2 bed / 2 bath) with a huge unfenced grassy area off my lanai, that Lambeau and I call our own backyard. I also live across the street from John Chesnut park, in the Tarpon Woods area so Lambeau and I spend lots of time at that huge dog park and/or exploring the various trails. So if you're open to that as well, I'll gladly take your pup(s) over there for some adventures.
About: I’ve taken care of small dogs from a young age, and would even be left in charge with the task to daily feed my neighbors dog while they were at work, growing up. I have been around large dogs, and a few different cat breeds as well and even was a part of my high schools vet tech class. I’m currently in school part time, so I will definitely have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I have always been told that I am very responsible and I am very willing to inform myself of more different breads and their specificities. I love to go on walks and having to walk a pet is a lovely excuse to go for a walk. I have a fenced yard in case of any pet care being done in my home. I am a very great communicator and am an empath especially with animals. I do not have any pets of my own, and love to dedicate the love to little fur babies.
“Wow, if I could leave more than a 5 Star review, I would! Barbara followed all of our special doggy-Mom requests, and then some! She has so much love for our dogs that it made us very confident to be away from them for so long. She truly went out of her way to accommodate our needs, as we were selling our home during this time too (and you know that means showing it...so it has to be clean and free of doggos!). Barbara was ON IT! Thanks so much, Barbara!”

“Stephanie did a great job taking care of our senior dog and our home while we were away. She provided updates and photos throughout her stay. I highly recommend Stephanie to take care of your fur baby and home.”

“Wow amazing! Amazing communication and even came by for a meet and greet with such short notice. One of our pups had some tummy troubles and she kept us updated the entire time and even made a vet visit on our behalf. The whole process she made a breeze. We will for sure be using again. She loves dogs.. it radiates off her!! Our boys seemed so so happy and we felt comfortable having her stay in our home.”

About: I’ve always been naturally inclined to understanding animals and have been empathetic towards them and people. I love helping and I have been pet sitting for over 4 years. I am very organized, punctual, caring, patient, a good communicator, and hardworking. I am also a diabetic so I am used to all different kinds of medical procedures and treatments! I can’t wait to share the love with all the social fur friends! I am currently working part time, and have the summer semester off from school, so I have a good amount of time to be able to help out and provide care. I also am good at planning and scheduling my time out well. I care for pets in my clients home by following the proper instructions provided, making sure it is a safe clean environment for the animal, communication with the client, and keeping watching on the animal to ensure its safety.
Westchase pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time booking with Rover and with Kristy. We booked her for over a week of overnight stays and she was incredibly compassionate and kind to our very shy & timid cat. We felt very secure being out of town knowing Kristy was at the house taking caring of it and our cat as if it was here own. Highly recommend.

This was our second time having Rylie look after our two greyhounds and once again she did a great job. The dogs clearly love her and she takes exceptional care of them. We also came home to a clean home and she had even washed the bed sheets and towels and put the new sheets on the bed ready for us to collapse into as soon as we got home! We very much appreciate the great care Rylie takes of our dogs and home and look forward to booking her again in the future!

Christine is always great with Cole - She did a great job with staying overnight with him. It was the first time we have left him since we adopted him. I was not worried at all while we were away and appreciate all Christine did to take the best care of our sweet Cole.

I had an unexpected emergency and had to fly out of town at the last minute, and she truly came to the rescue. She was incredibly attentive to my dog, Charlie, and kept me updated the entire time. It was clear he was comfortable and having fun while she was with him. I came home to a happy, relaxed puppy, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her help during a stressful situation. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

AnneMarie & Elyse did an excellent job! This was my first time to use Rover and have someone house sit and they put my mind at ease from the start. AnneMarie went above and beyond the call of duty. My dog and house were found in excellent condition upon my return home. I would definitely use them again if they were not returning to school.

Tania is wonderful in every way. Communication with me was always detailed and prompt and her care for Lucca was so loving. It’s obvious she is a doggie mom and that she truly enjoyed getting to know Lucca and spending time with him. I felt relaxed during my entire vacation and will definitely be using her in the future.
