I love all animals and am excited to care for your fur baby. I grew up with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and turtles. I currently have my own dog who I practice dog agility with in my yard. I was a dog walker for a dog walking company in Washington, D.C. from 2009-2011 and I have a certificate in dog and cat first aid from the American Red Cross. I received a Ph.D. from the University of Florida and own my own business, so my schedule is flexible for walks and drop-ins. I will gladly send photos and videos of your fur baby during my visits. I truly love spending time with all animals whether that is belly rubs, toy time, or walks. If you are interested in my services, I require a free meet and greet before my first time caring for your pet so that they are comfortable with me.

Safety, trust & environment
During the time with your fur baby in my own home, I have a large fenced-in yard and tile floors. I have one dog who loves all dogs but I can keep my dog in a separate room if that is preferred during your pet's stay. I have a guest room where I will keep your fur baby in a crate during the night.

Amanda was great! She took extra care with our old boy and made sure he was super comfortable being home alone with the 4th of July fireworks. Would definitely book with her again!
I had to book last minute on two weekdays and Amanda was super flexible and willing to work with me! She understood my situation and was willing to help me out. She followed instructions and sent me photos and videos which I really appreciate and gave me some peace of mind. I would recommend her to every pet parent!

We highly recommend Amanda! She provided excellent care, basic behavioral training, and advice to help us address the issues our terrier mix had after his adoption. Her patience, kindness yet firm and clear support, to both our dog and us as pet owners, helped Charlie relax into his new home and learn basic training. Amanda also provided excellent dog walking and overnight care.

I am an independent contractor working from home and therefore my schedule is very flexible. I can care for your pet any time of the day.
