About: I was a longtime volunteer with CARE in Ruskin, along with 2 years at Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center. Working in the Pitt Bull ambassador program. I had time to learn from the best instructors and trainers. I have experience with all breeds and age groups. I have lots of love and patience to give to your Fur Babies. I have recently retired, and I have lots of time now to get back into what I love and miss. I would love to get back into this field again. I have so much love for animals and would love so much to be able to help others. I don't have a fenced in yard, so I take walks around my community. I live in a gated community. We also have a small dog part here with lots of shade.
“My favorite place to leave my pup! They treat Tank like family and are always so welcoming and accommodating with pick up and drop off times. The BEST of the best!”

“Gabriela and her husband were great! Good communication and took the initiative to ask all the right questions to make sure my dog was well taken care off while I was away. She sent updates and cute pics and videos of my dog. My pup definitely had a fun day running around and playing with the other dogs! Will use them again for sure.”

“Meghan was a great communicator and saved us with a last minute daycare when our sitter suddenly cancelled. Appreciate the pictures and the kind staff. The pups had a wonderful stay. Would recommend Meghan and her facility to anyone!”

About: I adopted my first dog in 2006 as a newlywed and have had one as part of the family ever since. I also have three cats who honestly run the household and seasonally I raise monarch butterflies. Overall, the house is one big zoo! Our dog Pepper plays hard and naps even harder! She loves having doggie friends over to play in the yard with! Pepper also gets walked multiple times a day on the fabulous walking paths in our neighborhood. Your pooch will have ample opportunity for exercise and playtime. I work from home so I’m here all day (except to do school pick up on weekdays). When I’m out we have a built in kennel so doggies are always secured. I have an enclosed lanai and let our kitties out occasionally to enjoy some sunshine. The youngest cat, Loki, is super social and very inquisitive while the older two are pretty seditary.
About: Hi there, I'm JM! New to the Indy area and looking to give your pets the best care possible. I currently have two dogs and have had them for 10 years. Even though they are seniors, we stay very active with daily walks and trips to the dog park. My love for pets started at an early age when I adopted a cat at the age of seven. That started my lifelong love of pets. Since then I've raised two other dogs and cared for numerous pets. Friends often call on me to watch their dogs when they go out of town or take their dogs out for much needed outdoor time (whether that's smelling all the scents or just getting some exercise)! I have experience training dogs - I've trained three dogs including my current two. I work from home so I'm home most of the day. I also take classes, so I'm away from home 2-3 hrs M-Th. Classes vary I have a fenced backyard and there's a dog park in walking distance. Dogs will have free range to go outside when needed. I take my dogs out daily for walks and will offer the same service for dogs in my care. Dogs will have a separate feeding area and I have an extra room if pets are overwhelmed to relax. We have tons of toys and puzzles if your pets likes to stay busy.
“Katherine did an awesome job watching Alfie for a full day. She took some great photos and kept me updated throughout the day. I’ll definitely use her in the future, highly recommend!”

About: My wife and I have over 10 years of experience caring for our beloved dog, Miley. She was diagnosed with cancer in her later years, and we loved her through her surgery, which made her a tri-pawd. We worked through her mobility issues together, and we gained experience in giving her oral and subcutaneous injections. We also have experience with giving her oral chemotherapy drugs and taking her to radiation. Despite her challenges, Miley was a happy and loving dog. We loved taking her on hikes and giving her a good outdoor experience. She brought so much joy into our lives, and we are grateful for the time we had with her. We understand that leaving your dog with someone else can be difficult, but we want you to know that Miley taught us everything we know about caring for dogs with special needs. We will love and care for your dog as if they were our own. My wife and I work from home, so we can look after your pet all day, every day, including weekends. But we're not home 24/7 - we leave once or twice a week for 1-3 hours. We love to go for walks in the evening, so your furbaby will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. We will follow your pet's regular schedule. We have a fenced-in backyard, plenty of toys, lots of beds, and even a crate if needed, so your pet will have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We live in a single story house so your pet doesn't have to worry about climbing the stairs. You don't need to bring anything, but you're welcome to leave your furbaby's favorite toys, treats and/or food if you'd like.
“Upon meeting Andressa and Alex, they were both very welcoming during our meet and greet. My dogs were completely comfortable at their house. Andressa sent me a ton of photos of my dogs during their stay and always messaged me back quickly. The pups seemed happy and content after pickup. We will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you again!!”

About: Experienced pet sitter dedicated to providing loving care for dogs, especially special needs pups. Committed to their well-being and happiness in a safe environment. Pet sitting seamlessly integrates into my weekly routine, allowing me to dedicate time to caring for dogs while balancing personal commitments and ensuring their happiness. I ensure a safe, loving environment for pets at home and clients' homes through personalized care, secure spaces, and regular communication with pet owners family.

About: I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m patient, attentive, and understand that every dog has their own personality and routine. Whether your dog is energetic and loves long walks or prefers a calm environment and extra cuddles, I adjust to what makes them happiest. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies that need patience and consistency as well as senior dogs that may require a slower pace and extra attention. I’m very detail-oriented and will always follow your instructions closely so your pet’s routine stays consistent while you’re away. I also make sure owners feel at ease by sending regular updates and photos so you know your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is simple: when you pick up your dog, they feel comfortable with me and you feel completely confident leaving them in my care again. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I currently work in the office only 1–2 days a week for a few short hours, and the rest of my work is done remotely from home. This allows me to be very present and attentive to the pets in my care throughout the day. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention rather than pets being left alone for long periods. I’m also fully available on weekends, which makes it easy for me to help with weekend trips or extended stays. My routine works well for pet care because I’m home most of the time and can easily adjust my day to meet each pet’s needs and schedule. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific care preferences. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, along with a calm and safe environment where they can relax. I make sure they have regular potty breaks, fresh water, and lots of affection so they feel secure while their owner is away. I also believe communication is very important, so I send regular updates and photos so owners can see how their pet is doing and have peace of mind while they’re gone. My goal is for pets to feel comfortable and cared for, and for owners to feel completely confident leaving their pet in my care.
About: Hi there! I absolutely love dogs! I've had many dogs over the years. I currently own a 2-year-old Miniature schnauzer. I frequently pet sit for my family and friends when they are out of town. I also travel frequently therefore I truly understand the sensitivity of leaving your pets with a sitter. However I will treat your furry loved ones as my own! I am a very caring and responsible person. I work from home M-F therefore I am available at all hours, to tend to your fur babies, as well as provide you frequent status updates via text, email, or call. With that being said I look forward to taking care of your furry loved ones! I work from home M-F, and my hourly schedule is very flexible therefore I'm constantly available to my pup and any pets under my care. I regularly walk my dog and play with him 2x a day, which is what I would basically do with any pet under my care, apart from feeding them. I keep them on a schedule, usually feed in the morning and in the evening or as instructed by owner. I always have water out. I do take my pup on walks and play with him frequently to get the zoomies out... lol I keep close eye on my pup as well as any pets under my care to ensure they are comfortable. I don't have children therefore they have my attention all the time. My pup has his own toys and bed therefore he spends most of his time in the living room.
“Jennifer was great! She took care of our puppy as if he was her own. She sent pics and videos to let me know how he was doing. I felt at ease knowing he was in such good hands!”

“Kyra took great care of Petey! She was able to take the booking last minute which was a life saver for me. We started with a meet and greet the day before the booking and Petey took to her right away. Petey can be a little fragile due to his small size and she made sure to take extra care with him and make sure he stayed safe and comfortable. Will absolutely be booking with Kyra again.”

About: I just recently moved back to Florida after living in New York for 8 years. I worked for a dog walking company called Mobile Mutts for years and have taken care of dogs as small as Yorkie’s, all the way to caring for Great Dane’s. I have extensive knowledge in pet safety, health, and obedience training as I have a 6 year old Shiba Inu of my own whom I’ve raised since he was 12 weeks old. I also used to work for Wag!, but I use Rover for my own dog and enjoy working for this company very much. Right now my schedule is extremely flexible! I am available for house sits or dog boarding with reasonable notice, there are two cats and two dogs here whom are all very friendly and social so please keep note of that if you are looking to board with me! I have grown up having animals around my whole life and my family has always treated our pets as family members! In our neighborhood there are two doggie parks, or plenty of trails to get some running/walking in if you prefer them to not go to the parks.
“Mery is the best sitter ever!!! She treated my baby boy as her family member and took very good care of him. My boy felt so safe and comfortable around her. I will never go to someone else as she is the best!!!”
Adamsville dog parents share their Rover experiences
Arielle was very attentive to our shy Boston Terrier for her first day in a sitter's home. She updated us regularly to let us know Peewee was adjusting and enjoying playtime with her favorite toy. We are impressed with Arielle's willingness to respect Peewee's unique personality and the time she put in to make Peewee's first day successful. We are looking forward to an overnight stay for Peewee with Arielle.
