About: Hey! My name is pronounced Joelle, but you can call me Jo!!😊 I spent the last 5 years working as a nanny and am now transitioning into online coaching alongside my boyfriend. We live together and share our home with our dog, Spade, who is very well-trained and loves both people and other dogs. Because we both work from home, your pet will rarely be left alone and will get plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I live a very active lifestyle and love getting outside for walks, so providing exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time is already a natural part of my daily routine. I offer many pet services, including dog walking, drop in visits, and overnights!! What sets me apart is the genuine love, engagement, and companionship I provide. My boyfriend and I are very routine-oriented, which means your pet can count on consistent care, including morning and evening walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of affection. I do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable, secure, and happy while you're away. When pets stay with us, they become part of the family. Whether that means cozy naps on the couch, extra belly rubs, play sessions, treat time, or simply having someone nearby throughout the day, they’ll receive plenty of love and attention. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and being cared for as if they were my own!! ❤️🐾 Because I work from home, your pet won't be spending their day alone. They're a part of my daily routine and get plenty of attention, love, and supervision throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that's playing fetch in the yard, tossing around their favorite toy (feel free to bring their favorite!), going for walks, handing out treats, or just relaxing together on the couch. My dog, Spade, is friendly, well-trained, and loves having company too. Every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel right at home. Whether they need extra exercise, medication, lots of cuddles, or simply someone nearby to make them feel comfortable, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them happiest!! I have a huge backyard and lots of grass to play catch!! Also live in a neighborhood where we can go on many safe walks with no cars near, or heavy traffic. The house is safe, clean, and no toxic chemicals your pup can get into.
About: With 18 years of dedicated experience caring for small‑breed dogs, I bring reliability, structure, and a deep understanding of canine behavior to every booking. I specialize in creating calm, consistent routines tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. Safety, communication, and trust are my top priorities. You can expect timely updates, photos, and attentive care every step of the way. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I only board on my work‑from‑home days, ensuring full attention and a calm environment. My poodle enjoys daily walks, car rides, beach or park trips, and fun enrichment like ball‑launcher play, mini‑pool time, and occasional pup cups — and visiting pups simply join our routine. My poodle has full access to the entire home because he’s well trained and well behaved, and visiting pups enjoy the same freedom with attentive supervision. Crating is always based on the pet parent’s preference. Our routine includes morning and evening walks through the community, with a relaxing mid‑afternoon walk by the pond. We also enjoy time in the screened‑in lanai, giving pups a safe way to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.
About: My wife and I have over 10 years of experience caring for our beloved dog, Miley. She was diagnosed with cancer in her later years, and we loved her through her surgery, which made her a tri-pawd. We worked through her mobility issues together, and we gained experience in giving her oral and subcutaneous injections. We also have experience with giving her oral chemotherapy drugs and taking her to radiation. Despite her challenges, Miley was a happy and loving dog. We loved taking her on hikes and giving her a good outdoor experience. She brought so much joy into our lives, and we are grateful for the time we had with her. We understand that leaving your dog with someone else can be difficult, but we want you to know that Miley taught us everything we know about caring for dogs with special needs. We will love and care for your dog as if they were our own. My wife and I work from home, so we can look after your pet all day, every day, including weekends. But we're not home 24/7 - we leave once or twice a week for 1-3 hours. We love to go for walks in the evening, so your furbaby will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. We will follow your pet's regular schedule. We have a fenced-in backyard, plenty of toys, lots of beds, and even a crate if needed, so your pet will have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We live in a single story house so your pet doesn't have to worry about climbing the stairs. You don't need to bring anything, but you're welcome to leave your furbaby's favorite toys, treats and/or food if you'd like.
About: I’ve always grown up around dogs my whole life from German Shepards, miniature schnauzer, chow chows I currently own a 2 year old terrier mix named Nalah and she gets along with everyone. I also have a 3 year old cat named Jackson. For boarding I do require a meet and greet to make sure the dogs will get along. My cat does not mind other dogs even if they are curious he usually runs in his room which has a baby gate at the entrance to separate them if need be. If you have any questions feel free to contact me ☺️. I work from home two days out the week and I am home on weekends so my availability is very good and I have a vehicle to travel to your home to care for your fur baby. I can provide service for animals on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday I would just need to know more information because I work those days. I am good for taking king walks and playing fetch with your fur baby to keep them busy and moving. I do not mind provide your pets medication or whatever they need.
“Before I could even call to check on my fur baby, BJ sent videos & pictures of her & it made me feel so at ease. I really appreciated the last minute support for her & highly recommend!”

“Excelente servicio, ya en 2 ocasiones Nixi me lo a cuidado y siempre quedo super contenta con sus atenciones, una de las cosas que siempre me preocupa cuando lo dejo con alguien es que deje de comer, pero con Nixi eso no pasa al contrario creo que viene con libras demas :) y sobre todo Romeo siempre lo encuentro feliz. Súper contenta con sus servicios.”
“This was our first use of the Rover program. We were extremely happy with the care given, the caretaker’s professionalism, and the cleanliness of the home/backyard facilities. Jody was very personable, easy to communicate with both by phone and text, and very loving with Tater. We would rebook with her without hesitation and would highly recommend her services to anyone seeking worry-free, loving care for their pets.”

About: 🐾 Your dog will be treated like family from the moment they arrive. I know how hard it is to leave your furry best friend with someone else, which is why I make it my mission to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment where they feel right at home. I’ve spent over 20 years caring for dogs of all personalities and sizes, and I genuinely love every minute of it. Whether your pup enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, exploring the yard, or getting plenty of belly rubs and attention, I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for throughout their stay. You’ll receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is in great hands. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and personalized care, and I treat each one as if they were my own. I’d love to meet you and your four-legged family member, send me a message and let’s see if we’re the perfect match! I work from home, which means your pup will enjoy plenty of companionship, attention, and supervised time throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of love. Like any family, I occasionally step out for errands or appointments. If your dog experiences separation anxiety or isn’t comfortable being left alone for short periods, I kindly ask that you provide a crate or let me know their specific needs in advance so we can ensure they stay safe and comfortable while I’m away. My goal is to make every pet feel at home while giving owners complete peace of mind. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I care for both dogs and cats, and I treat every furry guest like a member of my own family. For dogs staying in my home, I provide frequent, structured potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. Since I don’t have a fenced backyard, dogs are taken on regular walks every 2–3 hours and again about 40 minutes after meals to keep them comfortable, active, and on a healthy routine. My home has an open-concept layout, and all pets remain safely on the downstairs level with a baby gate blocking access to the stairs, creating a secure environment where they can relax and play under supervision. For cats, I provide a calm, low-stress environment that respects their unique personalities and routines. Whether they’re playful or prefer their own space, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving them the attention they need on their terms. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. My goal is for you to return home to a happy, relaxed pet—and to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“Victor provided excellent dog-sitting service for my pup, Honey. He was kind, gave a thorough tour of her accommodations, and consistently sent reassuring pictures and videos. Highly recommended- will book again!!!!”

“I have only left my fur baby with 3 people in the last 5 years and Abigail is the 4th...I trust Abigail with Madyson... Madyson had love and attention not only from Abigail and Abigails daughter, but also from Abigails fur babies... I loved not only the updates about how Madyson was doing but also the pictures that Abigail sent to me... This was the first day, of I hope many days, that Madyson will stay with Abigail and play with her new friends... Thank you Abigail for giving me the peace of mind knowing that Madyson is loved and cared for when I am away and she is with you!”

About: I truly do love Pets. I have had both Dogs and Cats since I was young and I think they bring such joy to life. I'm always the neighborhood Pet Sitter and I have watched 5 dogs at once for neighbors and I'm currently a Cat owner. I have even taking care of them as they cross over that Rainbow Bridge, it's sad but I believe they deserve every moment of love and care. I grew up on a Farm and I have always enjoyed our Animal Friends and I know how to care for them when they are happy and healthy and when they are happy but need special care. Our Pets are Family and I love all types of Cats and Dogs. If you're like me then you know they deserve the Best because they are the best. I also have experience in helping them heal from Injury. If they need 24/7 care I can provide that. I want nothing but the best for all Fur Babies. I'm home all the time so they will get plenty of attention Even if I have to run an errand someone is always at home. I have a Pet friendly home. I have a Cat that is very friendly and gets along with both Cats and Dogs. I also have a wonderful walking area. I give lots of attention and love.
“Cristina was very accommodating of my dog Pogo for a last-minute daycare reservation. She sent lots of pictures that gave me a comfortable feeling. He had some needs and restrictions that she clearly followed which I appreciated very much. She is a very considerate sitter and understands the importance of what she's doing.”

About: **We accept requests for dogs up to 50lbs for boarding** My husband Cory and I have had plenty of happy clients with both walking and dog sitting. We've had our own pup, Bean, for 3 years, and have been watching pups for years both back in the state of RI and through Rover in DC for six years. We're experienced with puppies as young as 3 months old to dogs as old as 18 years, so we have ample experience with dogs of all ages, including administering meds. We honestly love everything about dogs and watching them is a pure joy because our pup Bean loves friends! We're extremely patient and always go above and beyond with our clients' dogs -- we treat your dog like a part of the family. **In order to book, we would need to have a meet and greet with your pup and ours to ensure they get along and also to ensure you feel confident leaving your pup with us while you're away.** We can't wait to be your next dog sitter!! Both of us work from home full time, so we are available to let your pup out to play in our fenced back yard any time they want. Our dog Bean is a diva and he demands walks to poop, so you can expect your pup to get at least two mile-long walks per day with our dog and plenty of time in our back yard playing. Simply put, we would treat your dog like they're our own. Our pup is like our child and you can expect your dog to be treated the exact same when they're with us. We allow dogs on the furniture, in the bed, and supervise playtime. If you need a crate, we can provide one for your pup when they're here. We also provide pictures to update you about how your pup is doing and can provide potty report cards if you'd like!

Salta took amazing care of Mallow and Oreo, I can’t recommend her enough. Both of them came home happy and relaxed, which says everything, because Mallow can be a little particular and he clearly felt right at home with her. It’s a huge relief to finally have a sitter I trust completely with my boys, and we’ll definitely be booking again!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your East Tampa commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
