I believe structure and enrichment are key to a happy, balanced pet. In my home, I maintain a consistent daily routine that includes training, enrichment activities, and plenty of mental stimulation. Pets enjoy a variety of puzzle feeders, toys, and interactive games designed to keep them engaged and content throughout the day. With owner approval, I also offer natural chews and incorporate gentle, in home training and bathing as part of their care routine. My goal is always to support each pet’s individual needs while keeping their experience positive, calm, and rewarding. With 16 years of experience in dog daycare and kennel environments, I’m highly experienced in canine socialization, group dynamics, and safe handling. I focus on creating structured, well managed interactions that promote confidence, good behavior, and a low stress environment for every dog in my care.

This helps me tailor their experience and ensure they feel safe, understood, and supported throughout their stay. I also like to keep each pet’s routine as consistent as possible, so details about their normal feeding schedule, walking routine, and daily habits are very helpful in maintaining comfort and stability while you’re away. For both cats and dogs, it’s especially important for me to understand how they interact with other animals, including any preferences, stressors, or social boundaries. This allows me to create a safe, low stress environment where every pet can relax and thrive.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs both mentally and physically fulfilled through a mix of enrichment and adventure. Daily activities include puzzle toys, snuffle mats, lick mats, and interactive play, along with natural or raw chews (with owner approval) to keep them engaged and satisfied. When the weather allows, we take things outdoors for more enriching experiences like hiking, swimming, or structured fetch sessions using a long lunge line for safe freedom and exploration. I also rotate in new enrichment toys, including BarkBox and Super Chewer items, so dogs always have something fresh and exciting to enjoy. My goal is to balance stimulation, exercise, and calm downtime so each dog leaves feeling happy, enriched, and well cared for.

With over 16 years of hands on experience in animal care, my journey started with volunteer work and grew into a lifelong career working with dogs and a wide range of animals in kennels, daycare settings, veterinary clinics as a veterinary technician, and rescue environments. My background includes not only day to day care, but also behavioral support, training and modification, along with rehabilitation assistance. I’m experienced with dogs of all temperaments whether they are confident, high energy, anxious, or behaviorally sensitive. I focus on reading body language, maintaining structure, and creating a calm, safe environment tailored to each individual dog. I also have experience in grooming, bathing, kennel management, and caring for both companion animals and exotics, which has given me a well rounded understanding of animal health and behavior. At the core of everything I do is a simple goal: to provide attentive, compassionate, and reliable care that keeps pets safe, comfortable, and genuinely understood while their owners are away while also providing constant photo updates.
