“Ania was responsive and punctual from the beginning. She is super sweet and was very caring towards our animal. We will definitely book again with her. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Tamara is the best pet sitter! Reliable, trustworthy, and excellent communication. Thank you for taking such good care of Pepper and Blizzard. The next time we are in need of a pet sitter, you are definitely my first choice. Thanks again Tamara😊”

“Lauren was great with Bear during our drop-ins! She was reliable, on time, and gave him tons of love and attention. Bear warmed up quickly—her sweet updates and photos showed him happy and getting plenty of playtime and cuddles. She followed his routines perfectly (feeding, potty breaks, extra affection when needed). Such a relief knowing he was in such caring hands. We’ll definitely book with her again—highly recommend!”

“Rachel & fam were great with Captain! A previous visit had to be cancelled due to illness, but she let me know ahead of time so I could find other options. I really appreciated the open communication! This visit I came home and Captain was happy as a clam :)”

“Driana was absolutely amazing the care she had for our pups while we were gone. She went above and beyond and took her time with them. Highly recommend and we will be booking with her again :)”

“Angela is very kind as I asked her to water my plants and bring in packages as well as taking care of my Ally. She did an amazing job. I would call her again if the future calls for a Rover sitter. Thank you, Brenda”

“Amanda did a phenomenal job with our pups! Our little guy was scared for some reason but she did everything right during each check on and I can't say enough about how well she did with both dogs to make sure they were cared for while we were out of town. I will absolutely use her again and recommend her highly. She did amazing with our other dog too - the dog who can sometimes be a challenge. But Amanda didn't back down from the challenge and won over our stubborn Daisy. Thank you Amanda!”

“I’ve rebooked with Barb several times now and she is awesome. I always appreciate her communication and the pictures we get, which helps us stay connected to our pup while we’re away. Highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter!”

“I am very thankful for Christina! She took extra special care of my kitties and didn’t have to worry one bit. I loved getting the pictures and reports on how well they were all doing and warming up to Christina. Thank you!!”

“I can’t be more grateful to Nattalie for her care. She was absolutely amazing in every single way and gave me ease will traveling. My dog was happy and loved her. I will definitely keep using her services A+”

“Quinton was great to me and my dog. He stepped in when my regular drop-in walker wasn't available. I don't know what I would have done without him. He even made himself available on his "off" days for us. I hope he is available to us in the future if and when we need him. For now though, I promised to resume visits with our original person, who has also been very good to us. Quinton is a warm and fuzzy gentle giant who is quick with a hug and a smile when you run into him at the grocery store. (Sorry Q, but you are. LOL) It's no wonder my dog looks for him at their usual time when I am at home.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bloomingdale
Alexis is absolutely amazing! Our pups had a tummy trouble during our trip, and she handled everything with so much care, patience, and attention. She kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. We came home to happy, well-loved pups, and we’re so grateful for the excellent care she provided.

Brittany took the job of looking out for our advanced- age cat at short notice, and while in her final weeks of pregnancy. She left great correspondence while we were traveling and gave me the piece of mind I did not think I would find. She is responsible, dependable, and great at communicating. We are very happy she accepted our job and we highly recommend her service.

Megan was absolutely wonderful! She kept us updated the entire time with sweet photos and messages, so we always felt informed about Beau. She even went the extra mile by bringing our packages in, which we really appreciated. Beau seemed so happy and well cared for when we got home. I can tell he was in great hands. Highly recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
