“Though we didn't get to meet in person because we made last minute plans to leave for the weekend due to not having any power. Katherine was very nice and accommodating to our needs with Chico. We ended coming back earlier than expected and again she was helpful in getting our refund for the days not used. I would definitely hire her again.”

About: I grew up around dogs, all types of behaviors I have witnessed and handled. I’ve also handle 3 liters of puppies during my early adulthood including taking care of the mother and the pups while properly feeding them. From there, I would keep your dog’s needs at priority! I currently work full time, yet I work from home Monday and Friday so I can keep an extra eye on your pup while taking breaks in between to ensure a walk and feeding. I’m also open on weekends! I live near 3 parks! If your pet is comfortable, I’ll be happy to take them there! I live in a quieter neighborhood and will have plenty of toys to share.
“Leroy and Reina are absolutely amazing! They were so gentle and loving with my fur baby, they even bathed her while we were away. My Noel absolutely loves them, she made new best friends! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone - I will be booking them over and over again!”

“Stacey did a great job. My dog is very extra and she handled her well. My pup had a accident when she picked her up and she notified me right away and cleaned up the mess as much as she could. Thanks Stacey!!!”

“Nicholas is an amazing person, and I’m so glad my doggie had his excellent care and attention. He sent a video of Beau’s excitement when Nick arrived for the walk, and I was almost jealous of the joy Beau showed to see him! We are totally happy to have such a great person to help with my precious dog. Thanks, Nicholas! ?”

About: Over the past four years, I’ve cared for dozens of dogs and cats for friends and family—walking, feeding, playing, and giving them love while their people were away. What started as doing favors turned into something I genuinely enjoy and feel confident doing, so I thought… why not finally offer it professionally? While I’ve never had a pet of my own (yet!), I treat every animal I care for like they’re family. I take time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities to make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re gone. I’m attentive, gentle, and great at reading an animal’s vibe—whether they want playtime, cuddles, or just someone calm nearby. I’d love to meet your furry companion and be someone you can count on. Let’s chat about how I can help! I currently work part-time most of my work days are during the weekend so throughout the week I am home all day pretty much every day! I am to make sure I learn the routines of each of my clients and ensure that the pets feel like they are at home!

We are delighted with and so grateful to Stacey! It was our first time using this service, and we were a bit nervous, but she exceeded all expectations. Stacey is a true professional! She was punctual, patient (our dog can be grumpy), affectionate, and—above all—respectful; she followed all instructions, sent us plenty of photos, and put our minds at ease. We are certain that Stacey will be our go-to person whenever we need someone to look after our Sansa, so don't hesitate to choose her for your own fur babies. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The best! Reagan was great! Always timely and great communication. She was willing to accommodate a last minute change. The dogs were happy and were well taken care of along with my home. One of my dogs had accidents and she took care of it all and took great initiative. Thanks again!!!

Sherri did a terrific job dog sitting my miniature dachshund. I had Sherri come by to take my dog out for potty and she even took out our other dog too! She was very communicative and took plenty of pictures during her visits. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!

I just have to reiterate how great Nigel has been to me and my old dog Mercy. It means the world to me that I don't have to worry about a single thing when I'm at work knowing Nigel will be there. Plus he is so flexible with unavoidable last minute bookings and even later cancellations, due to the nature of my job. He is like family to me and I highly recommend him.

Xyomora is a pleasant excellent young lady . I was very fortunate to meet her and have her walking my dog. Definitely Milo and I will missed her dearly. Hopefully after I resolved some unexpected health issues, will resume the dog walks and pray that Xyomora be available to walk Milo again.

On a very short notice(less than 24 hours) Kyra saved the day by keeping Coco safe and comfortable at our home while my wife and I moved our youngest son into college. Kyra went above and beyond, making sure we were up to date on how Coco was doing. Thank you for a great job! Our first Rover experience was awesome.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
