I’ve grown up with dogs/cats and have taken care of my neighbors or friends dogs for weeks at a time. I have extensive experience caring for dogs/cats, ranging from energetic pets to sweet senior pets. I’m good at managing them and attentive at reading their body language. I have been a passionate animal lover for over 16 years. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your fur babies. I treat every pet in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I also volunteer at the humane society to be able to walk dogs.

Sophie is a hard worker who is prompt and thorough when given a task. She takes care of every cat and dog and their needs and follows the owners' instructions. She respects people's homes and takes photos every time she visits. She loves taking dogs on long walks.

Schedule
I work remote Mondays, Fridays, and sometimes Wednesdays, so your pet gets constant attention and frequent potty breaks. The days I don't work remote, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and sometimes Wednesdays, I am available in the evenings. You can reach out to me last minute and I can do my best to be available. I am available on the weekends unless noted on my calendar.

Safety, trust & environment
When outside, your pet will always be securely leashed. I do not do off-leash walks or visit public dog parks unless explicitly requested and approved by you. My home is completely pet-proofed, with no exposed hazards and always keep doors secure. If you like your dogs crated at night I can do that as well. I also have one roommates who can also keep watch them if I ever have to run errands. I have a sweet resident cat who is very used to other animals. However, for total safety and comfort, I have plenty of space and can easily keep my cat in a completely separate room during your pet's stay. You will receive daily text and photo updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing, eating, and playing!
A typical day
I love going on long walks or runs, so happy to get your dog’s energy out or play in a park. I love playing and petting cats so happy to stay as long as needed or often to stimulate them.
