“Kierra Was so kind to the dogs, very attentive and followed every direction we gave her to the fullest extent. Highly recommend, was able to help us out super last minute. We could’ve have asked for a better dog sitter.”

“Megan was great to meet and easy to get to know. The walk went as scheduled and we got pics. Unfortunately Roxie couldn't give me any highlights, but I know she'd love to have Megan come over again to walk her.”

“Isaac is fantastic! We were first time Rover users, and I tend to be a worrier, but after the meet and greet my worries went away. He took great care of our girl, Callie, and provides such detailed notes. We will definitely be booking with him again!”

“Shannon was great! She came early for a meet and greet and she sent me lots of pictures while I was gone. She spent extra time with my dog and I felt my dog was well taken care of which made my time away more enjoyable; will definitely be using her again!”

“Victoria is extremely friendly and responds quickly. She did a meet and greet before the walk where she asked questions, took notes and spent some time with our dog Sandy. She was given 4 paws by Sandy 🐾, which is the highest rating a dog can give 😁. We will definitely be using Victoria again!”

“Jordyn has been walking Murphy for a few weeks now, and she has been amazing! Murphy is happy when I get home and I get reports of each walk! I love that she is very communicative and updates me timely as things comes up.”

“We contacted David to help with our dog, Bella Mae, for a couple days last week as I had minor surgery and could not walk her. David was nice enough to stop by prior to scheduled time and meet us and Bella. He is a fine young man who clearly loves animals and was great with Bella Mae.”

“Kelli has been an absolute Godsend to me and my pups life! Her communication is 10/10! As an owner of an older pup, my dog has been through some changes with her body. Kelli has been more than a helping hand when it comes to helping her stand up, making sure she goes potty safely, giving medication or cleaning a wound! She is extremely friendly, easy to reach out to and I know my pup absolutely loves spending time with her. I am so lucky to have found someone who truly cares about my pups wellbeing and is flexible!! Thank you for everything you have done for us, we appreciate you!”

“Shadow really enjoys his weekly walks with Kelly. She’s patient and accommodates his old age and mobility issues by taking him out in his stroller. I really appreciate her taking the time to come walk him when work is intense!”

“Sydney was fantastic!! I’m confident my dog was in good hands while I was away at work for long hours. She is super friendly and went above and beyond in many ways!”

“Dependable, Punctual and Cares for my pups! That is all I need. Elaine helped me so much with a last minute booking and even made some last minute accommodations that weren't expected but very much appreciated!”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with animals my entire life. I’ve had two horses, three dogs, a cat, and a pet rabbit in my life which has given me a diverse background with animals. I will take care of your animal like it’s my own, ensuring its happiness and safety above all. I am detail oriented and incredibly responsible with animals of all ages, and I am comfortable with administering medication if necessary. I look forward to taking care of your animal! I have two B.S degrees from FSU, where I graduated this past May. I have incredibly open availability right now which means I can check on/walk/care for your animal at pretty much any time of day! I’m currently waiting to start my full time job, so my availability is wide open! I am available during the day while you may be at work, or in the evening if you get off late, or in the early morning! Message me and we can figure out where I can intercept your needs :) I am comfortable handling animals of all sizes, and I know how to respect their boundaries (cat owners understand). When walking I always leash my animal and make sure to clean up after them, and make sure they remain hydrated in these hot temperatures.

About: I have had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, bearded dragons, you name it. I am the go-to to call for taking care of your beloved animal. I understand and will fulfill every little preference someone has when I handle their fur baby. What is most important is the animal and owner are happy and comfortable. I am currently studying for the Florida Bar! I just graduated law school in May. I am looking to do something I love and earn a few extra bucks while I am not able to work. I currently just have my 3 guinea pigs because my dog passed away last year and I miss being around them. I live in an area that has sidewalks and people constantly walk there dogs because it’s a safe environment. My apartment has a fenced in grassy area that I can utilize either trying to find the dog a playmate or making sure he’s separate if needed.

About: I am a true animal lover! I grew up with dogs (long haired dachshunds) and was a dog mom to a sweet Pomeranian named Ziggy. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
