I will care for your pet like they’re my own with lots of love and attention to your pet’s needs.
“Hillary has been amazing with my Boston Terrier, Titus! She’s been walking him for about a week and absolutely crushes it — she gets him a ton of exercise and usually covers around a mile and a half in just 30 minutes. She’s super reliable, clearly cares about what she does, and Titus always comes back happy and worn out (in the best way). Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: I grew up on a small farm with chickens, goats and dogs. I've taken care of my familys animals and sat for neighbors. I had a job feeding and caring for horses and was a trail guide for a little while. I drive for Uber so I pretty much make my own schedule. I'm pretty easy going. I'm pretty used to taking gigs as they come so last minute stuff isn't too big of a deal. Very flexible. I focus on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment. I follow each pet’s routine including feeding, walks, medication, and playtime. I always make sure to communicate clearly with pet parents and respect their preferences. Cleanliness, safety, and comfort are my priorities, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and attention to detail.
“Kiara is incredible! She helped us last minute and even when there was a mishap with our key, she was accommodating and resourceful and found a way to make it work! We are beyond grateful for her and her kindness. we will definitely be working with her again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life with my own fur baby. She is very friendly towards other animals and usually lets other dogs be more dominant. Live right next to a dog park and Willow would love to play with your dog there! I work from home so I am very flexible with care. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or play schedule,I am available to make it happen. Let me know what your preferences are. Willow is fed and walked in the morning and at night. Pets are allowed in the bed and on furniture. We frequent dog parks as she likes to play with other animals vs chase balls.
“Tammy is AMAZING!!!! My dog Athena, absolutely LOVES her. She sent me multiple pictures everyday. Tammy also changed up Athena’s walk each time to keep her interested. One night Athena got sick and Tammy immediately jumped into action as well as calling me. That night, it really felt like she truly cared about her and wanted to help however she could. It made my trip a lot easier, knowing that Athena was in good hands. I am incredibly grateful to Tammy for everything she did and I look forward to using her again in the future.”

“Jocelyn Is great! She is arrives on time and is flexible with my last minute requests. I’m so happy I found her as she lives local. She is great with my dog I will definitely be rebooking her 🙏🏼”

My healthcare background has taught me to be responsible, patient, detail-oriented, and calm in any situation. I'm happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, medication administration, and plenty of love and attention. Whether your dog is a playful puppy or a senior who needs a little extra care, I'm committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Since I'm home most days, I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and daycare. I can easily accommodate your pet's routine and provide them with plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. About: I got my first cat when I was 5 and as I grew up we adopted more cats, and rescued a dog. My last few roommates have had dogs (a husky, lab mix, and mutt) that I’ve helped take care of as well. I worked for a local veterinary company for two years so am familiar with some general practices and urgent cares in the area as well. I am currently in grad school for social work! My schedule varies day to day, I have classes on Saturday mornings and an internship 2 days/week. During the school year, I teach part-time for a nonprofit. In the summer I primarily do rover for income, so I have more availability during these months! I live in a neighborhood with a dog park and sidewalks that are great for walks! Happy to walk 30+ mins or more depending on what your pup is used to!
“Another great drop in from Hannah. She took care of Reba for me I had such a busy workday I didn’t have a moment to spare. She took Reba on a nice walk and sent lots of pictures. Hannah is the best definitely will book with her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Susan and I grew up with both small (mini-dachshund, maltese, Lhasa apso, mini-schnauzer) and large (German shepherd, labs) breeds. I am in my late-30s and am saving up to upgrade my home, doing something I love doing! I currently have one active vizsla (Kibo) and know how much active pups enjoy a walk or a trip to the dog park. Even lower-energy dogs enjoy a walk, if not for exercise then for the sights and sounds and smells! I generally walk briskly, bring plenty of water, and keep (my) dogs on track (no eating anything off the ground, etc) and on task (no socializing with any other dogs unless I have walked the dog before and BOTH the owner and I an comfortable). I also have experience taking care of cats, but am unfortunately too allergic to have them stay by me. I have one active vizsla (Kibo) so regular pet care is already a very important part of my routine schedule! I work near home and have a fairly flexible work schedule so I have plenty of time during the week for your pets! I have a small unfenced yard and plenty of sidewalk friendly neighborhoods for walks! My home has plenty of space inside as well, and furniture is dog-friendly if your pet likes chilling on the couch.
About: I have had dogs all my life, thankfully. Ever since I was born, I either had dogs of my own or have had them closely in my life. From the time I was born until I went to college, our family always had dogs, and my mother was a member of the National Springer Spaniel Rescue League. She would drive anywhere in the country to pick up and rescue abused dogs when needed, and she taught me from a young age how to care for, nurture, heal, and raise pups. After moving to Florida years ago, I have always had dogs around me, as some of my closest friends have the best pups. I make sure they always get extra love on the daily, and a birthday cake every year! I have lived with them each at different times, and have always loved the experience. I travel at times for work, so I have held off on getting my own until I know I can provide the best environment and schedule for them :) I request dog bars locally with my friend's dogs and we always have such an incredible time. Puppies, older dogs, those with trauma or anxiety - I know them all very well and easily cater to each dog's specific needs. As long as we have open communication, I can be flexible with my schedule while caring for your pups. Dogs are not just pets; they are a part of and an extension of your family! So in my eyes, they require just as much thought and care as a family member. Any special needs, requests, etc, we can talk through and make sure every detail is taken care of! Each dog has a unique personality, much like we do. Trust is established slowly upon meeting them for the first time, and on their time - that means that whether they are quick to warm up and play, or just need a minute, I am well-versed in that and here for them in its entirety. I am very comfortable with taking care of dogs in their home environments. Let me know if they have favorite spots, walking routes, toys, treats, etc, and I will make sure each visit is personalized :)
About: I've had all kinds of pets growing up- fish, cats, and dogs. I understand how important companions are to everyone. They're part of our families. I've helped take care of my family's pets as well as my friends' pets since I was in elementary school. I will treat your pets as though they're my own, with the same love and affection you'd give them. I work part-time and get my schedule up to 2 weeks in advance, meaning it's easy for me to make time for your pets! Taking care of a pet helps me better create a schedule for myself, so watching your pet helps me just as much as it helps them. I'd like to treat your pets with the same love and respect that you have for them. I will walk, feed, play, or bathe them as much as you'd like me to. My pets are allowed on the furniture so conversations about the boundaries your pet can have is important to me.

Lia is amazing!! She was super flexible and able to help me out with a very short notice request. It’s hard finding good, reliable, trustworthy help and after chatting with Lia, my mind was instantly at ease knowing I was leaving the care of my sweet pup in her hands—highly recommend!

Lauren is awesome! She took such great care of my dog on her walks. My dog warmed up to Lauren so quickly. I was nervous that she wouldn’t want to walk with someone she didn’t know but she could tell Lauren was great with animals and would take the best care of her.

Samantha was great with my little girl, Nina. Nina can be very shy with new people and she warmed up to Samantha immediately. All my walking requests have been short notice and Samantha has gone above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. She is a fabulous choice to care for your fur babies!

Tammy is AMAZING!!!! I am incredibly grateful to Tammy for everything she did and I look forward to using her again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
