About: I’m an experienced dog sitter and active foster with a deep understanding of dogs who benefit from patience, consistency, and thoughtful, attentive care. Through fostering, I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities, including dogs adjusting to new environments, managing anxiety, or coming from uncertain backgrounds. I offer overnight boarding in my home, drop-in visits, and walks. My approach is calm, structured, and intentionally low-volume, allowing me to provide a higher level of individualized attention and a predictable, low-stress routine for each dog in my care. When dogs stay in my home, I’m intentional about introductions, supervision, and maintaining a peaceful environment. I limit the number of dogs I care for at one time and thoughtfully consider temperament and compatibility to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. I’m experienced with administering medications, supporting crate routines, reinforcing training cues, and following detailed care instructions. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and subtle changes, and I communicate proactively with updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Whether your dog is social and energetic or more sensitive and routine-oriented, my goal is to provide reliable, attentive care in a calm environment where they can feel safe, settled, and genuinely well cared for. Additional Note on Care Options: For dogs who are comfortable around other well-matched dogs, I offer a social boarding environment with thoughtful introductions and supervision. I also offer private, solo care for dogs who require or prefer being the only dog in my home. As this option reserves my full availability and limits additional bookings, a premium rate may apply. If your dog has specific preferences or sensitivities, I’m always happy to discuss the best fit to ensure an exceptional experience. Extended In-Home Care: For in-home visits or daycare sessions exceeding 8 hours, an additional fee may apply to reflect the extended attention and reserved time. This ensures every dog receives consistent, high-quality care throughout the day. I currently run my own business and have a flexible schedule that allows me to work from home or out of the house as needed. Because of this, I’m able to prioritize pet care throughout the day and provide reliable walks, drop-ins, and attentive supervision. I have a fenced in yard at my home, am able to walk dogs as needed and take care of dogs for drop in visits at any south Tampa home.

“Beverly was kind enough to take a last minute reservation. I was able to do a meet and greet with her dog Opal and my dog Zena. They both got along well. Beverly was great with providing pictures and updates. Her yard is perfect as it is fully fenced in. I would definitely recommend Beverly. Zena was relaxed and happy when I came to get her.”

“Claire was amazing with our 2 girls! We had no doubt they were being well cared for and loved as if they were her own . She is VERY responsible and has the perfect set up for your small dogs “vacation”!! Her small dog Kyser is a sweetheart and my dogs loved him! I plan to use Claire as often as I can book her ! She’s just the best!!! Thank you Claire for taking such good care of my babies !!!”

About: For the past 7 years I have been the go-to pet caretaker in my neighborhood, treating every dog like a member of my own family. Dogs have been members of my own family for the last 22 years. Your pets safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities, and I promise to send plenty of photo updates so you can enjoy total peace of mind. I am currently working from home which give me the flexibility to be available anytime Monday- Sunday. I can do house visits for walks and check-ins. I live in a house with my husband and 1 1/2 yr old Yorkie. Our Yorkie loves other dogs and loves to play. We do not have a fenced in yard, however we have a beautiful neighborhood to walk in set far back from any main roads. I'm experienced with premium nutrition and happy to accommodate complex feeding and supplement schedules. Whether your pet is on a traditional diet, human-grade fresh food, or a precise freeze-dried raw regimen, I understand the importance of exact measurements and strict food safety handling.

“Billy was a fantastic sitter for Shadow, our collie / corgi mix. Billy watched / boarded Shadow for a 30 days and all went smoothly. He sent us updates / photos each day and was very responsive if we ever had to communicate with him. Also, Billy only watches one dog at a time so owners don’t have to worry about other animals being with yours. My wife and I would definitely recommend Billy to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”
“Once again Reggie came home a very happy doggie! Nicole is always very responsive to my texts and I love the pictures that she sends me of him throughout his stay! I have no worries that Reggie is in great hands while I'm away!”

“Had a great experience leaving my two dogs in the care of Liz while traveling. What drew me to choose Liz was how professional and prepared she was when we initially spoke. She clearly went through her process and what we could expect, and it really demonstrated that she considers every angle for the safety and well being of the pets in her care. This gave me peace of mind. Once our dogs were in her home, she provided multiple updates daily - did the dogs eat well, did they go potty, what has their exercise been like. And I received pictures of my dogs, seeing first hand they were happy. Liz is very responsible and thorough. I will use her again when my family travels as I know my dogs will be well cared for.”

“Kristin was wonderful! She did an amazing job caring for my dog over the weekend and kept me updated the entire time with great communication and lots of pictures. She took him on plenty of walks, and it was clear he had a great time staying with her. My dog is usually pretty nervous around new people, but he warmed up to Kristin and her home right away. Seeing that made it so much easier to enjoy my trip, knowing he was comfortable, happy, and in such great hands. I highly recommend Kristin to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Constance was such a great find! She took excellent care of my cat and left the apartment in such great shape! She sent great pictures and videos of him, which was so nice to see while we were away. His litter and food areas were spotless and he was a happy fluffy guy when we got home! She spent lots of time playing with and brushing him which was wonderful for him because he absolutely loves people. Constance really went the extra mile to make sure my cat was happy and loved and made sure we came home to a clean place, even washing his food bowls and vacuuming his litter area. Would definitely recommend her and will for sure be asking her to watch our cat again!”

“Samantha was phenomenal with James. So many detailed updates and photos that I loved seeing when I was on my travels. I know Samantha took great care of my son with how we was acting when I got back home. I would not hesitate to book her for any pet sitting needs! She’s the best”

“Evette and her sweet lab Lady made our fur babies feel right at home! They were so happy/relaxed/tired from playing all day when we picked them up! Evette was so professional and accommodating, easy to trust right away. She sent so many amazing updates and photos about their stay together! We will for sure be asking her for help again!”

“Christina was so great with my dog Molly. Molly is afraid of people and other dogs but Christina quickly had her relaxed and mingling with the other dogs. She sent me lots of pictures during her stay and I couldn’t believe it, she was happy and playing with the other dogs! Christina has a wonderful house and large lawn, and she is with the dogs all day. She keeps all the dogs relaxed and happy. It’s like a summer camp! Molly can’t wait to go back!”

About: Dog person through and through—I grew up with a chow/husky mix and spent the last five years as a very devoted dog mom to a chocolate lab/pit mix. Since then, I’ve been the go-to for friends’ dogs, whether that’s quick drop-ins or longer stays while they’re out of town. I’ve hosted multiple dogs at once (we used to joke my place was a “puppy palace”), so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I previously sat on Rover in Denver and am now in St. Pete, excited to get back to spending time with dogs. I’m reliable, communicative, and will treat your dog like my own—expect regular updates, photos, and a happy, well-cared-for pup. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just hanging out, I’m happy to match their pace. I work 100% remote for a software company. I can easily pop out during the day between meetings/calls and am free to board pets when I am in town. I know your dog is family, and I treat them that way. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and any specific needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I live in a large one-bedroom apartment (no other pets) near the pier with plenty of grassy areas for walks. I have a flexible schedule, so your dog will get lots of attention, exercise, and company throughout the day. Dogs are absolutely welcome on the couch and bed here—this is a relaxed, safe environment where they can feel at home.
“Heather took great care of our chocolate Labrador for four days and was very flexible with last minute changes to our drop off and pick up times on all four days that we were in the Tampa area. We will book with Heather again when we're back in the Tampa area. Highly recommend Heather to care for your fur babies.”

“Beverly did a wonderful job taking care of my foster greyhound, Mongoose. He always left her home happy and tired, and I know he enjoyed roaming around her fenced yard! She was very kind in accommodating his separation anxiety and I would absolutely hire her again to care for my pets.”

“This was my dog Maeve's first time doing doggie daycare with Julie, Brian, and their dog Horatio, and she had a great time! They kept me updated during and gave me a full report afterward. I'll definitely be making this a regular thing!”

“Matt was soooo personable and so nice! He was so responsive and sent us pics ! He was great. We are here for 6 months and will definitely use him again! Thanks for taking care of him. We are always so nervous because of doggy is so anxious but Matt was great! Our boy is happy and in one piece! Thank you Matt!!”

“Sydney was the absolute best with our little cockapoo baby, Lia. I was nervous coming from NY, not knowing anyone in the area. She reassured me Lia would be in great hands and did not disappoint. She gave her walks (they saw dolphins 🥰), potty breaks, helped our Lia become comfortable around another pup and new surrounding. Checked in and sent pics throughout the day. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend her. Lia will definitely be back to visit ❤️ thank you so much Sydney”

“Fabulous week for Juno our Alaskan Husky mix! She was so settled and happy with Denise and her Border Collie Frankie! Such peace of mind knowing Juno was in good hands and happy. Denise is a wonderful person. She understands dogs and she totally gets dog owners worries too. Would not hesitate to use her again!”

“We want to adopt Alyssa and Ace! With incredible aplomb and a clear head, Alyssa amazingly averted a potential crisis regarding our kids during daycare! It was the first time in their young lives that our two girls had ever spent a day away from us at someone else’s home. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts than Alyssa and Ace! Ecstatic that where one Rover door closed, Alyssa’s door opened! 🥰🐕🐕🦺🐶🥰”

“I'm so happy I found Rachel! My Dante is doing better than expected and he's happy and energetic when I pick him up! His normal Texas sitter feeds him too many treats and plays him so hard, he is exhausted when I pick him up. I totally prefer his daycare now cause he has energy for his momma 😃. Thank you, Rachel! I can tell you he knows Peppa and Ocean by name cause he perks up when I tell him he's going to see them.”

About: Your dog’s safety, happiness, and your peace of mind are my top priorities! With a calm, caring approach and great attention to detail, I make sure every visit is safe, playful, and stress-free. You’ll always get clear, timely updates—because you deserve to know your pup is in good hands! I am able to administer medications if needed, and will provide special care to any ill or disabled pets. Our pets hold a special place in our hearts as if they were children, and I make sure your pet(s) feel loved. I currently work from home and have time throughout the day to play and go for multiple walks a day. I am available all days of the week for care! I have plenty of space in my home for your pet to feel comfortable to run around (zoomies, if that's the case), or they can lay around and be lazy. Either way your dog is free to be themselves.

“Alex is so easy to work with! I originally connected with Alex in hopes that I could find an occasional weekend sitter but he takes such good care of Shadow that I am using him even on my week days while I go into the office or have errands. I highly recommend.”

“Hillary has been amazing with my Boston Terrier, Titus! She’s been walking him for about a week and absolutely crushes it — she gets him a ton of exercise and usually covers around a mile and a half in just 30 minutes. She’s super reliable, clearly cares about what she does, and Titus always comes back happy and worn out (in the best way). Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: I grew up on a small farm with chickens, goats and dogs. I've taken care of my familys animals and sat for neighbors. I had a job feeding and caring for horses and was a trail guide for a little while. I drive for Uber so I pretty much make my own schedule. I'm pretty easy going. I'm pretty used to taking gigs as they come so last minute stuff isn't too big of a deal. Very flexible. I focus on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment. I follow each pet’s routine including feeding, walks, medication, and playtime. I always make sure to communicate clearly with pet parents and respect their preferences. Cleanliness, safety, and comfort are my priorities, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and attention to detail.

Whether it’s walks, feeding, or play schedule,I am available to make it happen. Let me know what your preferences are. Willow is fed and walked in the morning and at night. “Tammy is AMAZING!!!! My dog Athena, absolutely LOVES her. She sent me multiple pictures everyday. Tammy also changed up Athena’s walk each time to keep her interested. One night Athena got sick and Tammy immediately jumped into action as well as calling me. That night, it really felt like she truly cared about her and wanted to help however she could. It made my trip a lot easier, knowing that Athena was in good hands. I am incredibly grateful to Tammy for everything she did and I look forward to using her again in the future.”

About: I got my first cat when I was 5 and as I grew up we adopted more cats, and rescued a dog. My last few roommates have had dogs (a husky, lab mix, and mutt) that I’ve helped take care of as well. I worked for a local veterinary company for two years so am familiar with some general practices and urgent cares in the area as well. I am currently in grad school for social work! My schedule varies day to day, I have classes on Saturday mornings and an internship 2 days/week. During the school year, I teach part-time for a nonprofit. In the summer I primarily do rover for income, so I have more availability during these months! I live in a neighborhood with a dog park and sidewalks that are great for walks! Happy to walk 30+ mins or more depending on what your pup is used to!
“Another great drop in from Hannah. She took care of Reba for me I had such a busy workday I didn’t have a moment to spare. She took Reba on a nice walk and sent lots of pictures. Hannah is the best definitely will book with her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Susan and I grew up with both small (mini-dachshund, maltese, Lhasa apso, mini-schnauzer) and large (German shepherd, labs) breeds. I am in my late-30s and am saving up to upgrade my home, doing something I love doing! I currently have one active vizsla (Kibo) and know how much active pups enjoy a walk or a trip to the dog park. Even lower-energy dogs enjoy a walk, if not for exercise then for the sights and sounds and smells! I generally walk briskly, bring plenty of water, and keep (my) dogs on track (no eating anything off the ground, etc) and on task (no socializing with any other dogs unless I have walked the dog before and BOTH the owner and I an comfortable). I also have experience taking care of cats, but am unfortunately too allergic to have them stay by me. I have one active vizsla (Kibo) so regular pet care is already a very important part of my routine schedule! I work near home and have a fairly flexible work schedule so I have plenty of time during the week for your pets! I have a small unfenced yard and plenty of sidewalk friendly neighborhoods for walks! My home has plenty of space inside as well, and furniture is dog-friendly if your pet likes chilling on the couch.
About: I have had dogs all my life, thankfully. Ever since I was born, I either had dogs of my own or have had them closely in my life. From the time I was born until I went to college, our family always had dogs, and my mother was a member of the National Springer Spaniel Rescue League. She would drive anywhere in the country to pick up and rescue abused dogs when needed, and she taught me from a young age how to care for, nurture, heal, and raise pups. After moving to Florida years ago, I have always had dogs around me, as some of my closest friends have the best pups. I make sure they always get extra love on the daily, and a birthday cake every year! I have lived with them each at different times, and have always loved the experience. I travel at times for work, so I have held off on getting my own until I know I can provide the best environment and schedule for them :) I request dog bars locally with my friend's dogs and we always have such an incredible time. Puppies, older dogs, those with trauma or anxiety - I know them all very well and easily cater to each dog's specific needs. As long as we have open communication, I can be flexible with my schedule while caring for your pups. Dogs are not just pets; they are a part of and an extension of your family! So in my eyes, they require just as much thought and care as a family member. Any special needs, requests, etc, we can talk through and make sure every detail is taken care of! Each dog has a unique personality, much like we do. Trust is established slowly upon meeting them for the first time, and on their time - that means that whether they are quick to warm up and play, or just need a minute, I am well-versed in that and here for them in its entirety. I am very comfortable with taking care of dogs in their home environments. Let me know if they have favorite spots, walking routes, toys, treats, etc, and I will make sure each visit is personalized :)
About: I've had all kinds of pets growing up- fish, cats, and dogs. I understand how important companions are to everyone. They're part of our families. I've helped take care of my family's pets as well as my friends' pets since I was in elementary school. I will treat your pets as though they're my own, with the same love and affection you'd give them. I work part-time and get my schedule up to 2 weeks in advance, meaning it's easy for me to make time for your pets! Taking care of a pet helps me better create a schedule for myself, so watching your pet helps me just as much as it helps them. I'd like to treat your pets with the same love and respect that you have for them. I will walk, feed, play, or bathe them as much as you'd like me to. My pets are allowed on the furniture so conversations about the boundaries your pet can have is important to me.

“Kelly was amazing! She keept me informed all the time. This was the first time my fur babies were left with some they didn't know, when I went to pick them up they looked like they wanted to stay 🙃”

“Christina was super adapting and helpful. She took care of my two babies like their own. Helped bring kennels outside, and was communicative. Thankful for her service!”

“Sam is a gem. Violet seems to be relaxed and happy when she is with him. He is a great communicator and is flexible with scheduling. We have used him before and will definitely use him again.”

“Another extended stay for Prince means another great time at “summer camp” at Jennifer and Austin’s! We’ve been so thankful over the years to have found amazing dog lovers who open up their home to other dog parents who like to make sure their pups get all the TLC they deserve. Jennifer and Austin definitely deliver! Prince gets all the snuggles and scratches he needs and we can tell he loves his time at “camp”! We’ll be so sad to see Jennifer and Austin leave the DC area and are jealous of all the new pet parents who will get to experience their thoughtfulness, warmth, and affection for dogs in their new city! Prince says ‘thanks for everything’!”

“Tony is awesome. Took amazing care of my pup, had awesome communication and sent me so many updates and pictures so I felt comfortable and confident my dog was in the best hands. Will absolutely rebook!!!”

“Rachel was amazing in taking care of our cat. She sent bunch of pictures and videos. Our Osman was comfortable in her house, and we were happy knowing he is in good hands.”

“Grant was very flexible with us when our flight was delayed and needed to extend his stay. We were also sent plenty of pictures, and Henry loved playing with his dog.”

“Chante was great with the fur baby. She was in constant contact and very attentive. Communication was great and she took great care of my baby. Would definitely use her again.”

“Amy is the best! She was great at communicating and keeping me updated with pictures even when I didn’t ask. Rasta was such a happy boy and didn’t seem to want to leave. I cannot recommend Amy enough and will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thank you Amy!”

“Lauren was great with our pup, Mally, while we were gone for 6 days. She kept me updated multiple times a day with pictures and info on how she was doing. We would definitely book her again!”

“I have been a sitter on Rover for 4 years however I had never hired a sitter. Daniel took such good care of my dog. Sent Photos and updates. I don’t think she missed me. Will use Daniel again.”
