I'm a freelance photographer, so I make my own schedule and have a lot of flexibility most people don't. Weekdays, weekends, it's all the same to me. I've got plenty of time for morning, afternoon, and evening walks or visits, and I can usually work around whatever your pet's routine looks like. If your cat eats at 7am sharp or your dog needs a midday walk, I can make it happen.

I follow the routine and instructions you provide, keep doors and gates secured, and make sure your pet is safe and accounted for during every visit. I’ll keep fresh water available, clean up after your pet, and I’m always happy to take care of any accidents or pet-related messes that happen while you’re away. I’ll leave your home neat and just as I found it. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big decision, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how things are going. If your pet seems unusual or I notice anything concerning in the home, I’ll contact you right away. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for and for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.

I’d also like to know about their leash behavior, fears, triggers, escape habits, how they react to unfamiliar people or other animals, and their favorite places or routes to walk. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy. Please also provide your veterinarian’s information and an emergency contact.

A typical day will be tailored to your pet’s normal routine, personality, and energy level. We’ll enjoy walks, playtime, toys, treats, cuddles, and plenty of attention. I can also provide enrichment through games, basic command practice, or quiet companionship for more relaxed pets. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

I've spent years caring for pets of all kinds, and it's something that comes naturally to me. My own dog is 14 now and has lived with severe anxiety his entire life, so I've learned firsthand how to keep a nervous pet calm, comfortable, and feeling safe. That patience carries over to every animal I look after. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, big breeds included, and just as at home with small animals and cats. I have two bunnies of my own and spent three years caring for cats. Whether it's keeping an eye on an aging pet, handling medication, walking a strong, energetic dog, or simply giving a high-energy pup the attention they need, I show up reliably and treat every pet like my own. Friends tend to call me first when they need someone they can trust with their animals, and I take that trust seriously.
