Pet care experience

There is nothing better than a Pet!

I am available 7 days a week from 8am-10pm. Celebrating my 5th year with Rover. Canine & Feline first aid and CPR certified. I will leave you a diary from your pet when I sit, so you know how we got along and what your best friend was up to.This IS my full time job. I was a seasonal cast member at "Walt Disney World" and a Big Sister With "Big Brothers, Big Sisters" you can rest assured my background has been meticulously checked. My dog weight limitations are only for walking. If you are ok with letting your dogs out in your yard, then I am ok with any size dog. I have volunteered at Broward Humane Society for 4 years and 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida rescue for 3 years. I can also take in your mail and water your plants. I can feed, walk, clean up after, administer oral and injectable medication, give commands for treats, brush and give affection to your pet. I am fine with multiple pets. I have sat for dogs, birds, cats, bunnies and chinchillas too. I have references per request. I would prefer meeting with you (the owner) and the pet before I pet sit. You can fill me in on their favorite place to be pet, where they sleep etc. Photography is my hobby, so I'll take lots of cute photos of your pet. As an adult experienced pet owner and sitter I take watching your pet very seriously.

Safety, trust & environment

I’m very careful upon entry, I have a gate in my car in case your pet is a “runner” I always supervise when let out in a yard. I use lights on your dog while walking at night and never a retractable leash.

Schedule

It is my full time job 7 days a week. I schedule around my regular clients and my own pets. I will ask how long your pet can be left alone to be sure I’m there when they need me.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Marlene can host up to 5 drop-ins per day
I would like to know if your pet has allergies, will go out in the rain and is afraid of noises (ex. thunder) what and where they eat and sleep. How do they get along with other dogs and people on walks.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
