About: I own 2 cats myself and have taken care of/lived with a large dog before (German shepherd). I have more experience with cats but have taken care of multiple types of dogs. I am open to animals that may have some disabilities as well. I have experience taking care of blind dogs/senior dogs! I am located on st Pete beach but am open to the surrounding Tampa Bay Area. I work full time but it is a late/evening shift so I can be available during the day as well as nights after work. I like to care for pets based on the how the owners would like them to be cared for. I would appreciate some instruction and background on pets so I can understand them better.
About: I grew up with two dogs that filled my life with so much joy. I just want to give that to your dogs even if it’s just a walk, a check in, or even a long term service. I have open availability to care for your fur babies. I do have a part time job but will be able to schedule around those few shifts I have a week. My priority is your animals! I am very adamant on keeping all dogs on leash unless in a gated backyard or at a dog park dependent on how they interact with other dogs and owners wishes.

“We are SO thrilled with our new sitter Marlene! She takes such good care of my Alfonse and my home while I'm at work. Perfect! Which is why we continue to schedule with her week after week :)”

“Tiantian was an exceptional and responsible dog walker - she was punctual, flexible and took care of my dog Lucy with love and care. I would use her again without any hesitation! She is a lovely person who is responsible and caring!!”

“Dylan went above and beyond to get to our house to take good care of our sweet rabbit for 9 days during a huge winter storm. He shoveled and had to walk in from the road due to all the snow and he kept us up to date daily.”

About: Hi! I’ve cared for my family’s, neighbors and friends pets so I’m very good with animals. Rover helps me find side jobs as I work my full time hybrid job in the tech industry. I'm currently available on a part-time basis and can only provide walks or stays over night. I am not available for hosting your pet to my home. My schedule is very flexible and happy to work with your availability. I’m a big time dog/cat person. My focus is on making sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and engaged in their own familiar environment.
“Paige was great. Responded to messages promptly, arrived on time and stayed the full hour, and sent pics to keep us updated. Highly recommend and would definitely use her again.”

“Cassandra was amazing! She came for a meet and greet on short notice and was super flexible about scheduling. She kept up with communication very well and was always sending the best photos and updates on her visits with our kitties! Highly recommend!”

About: My work allows me to work from home and I also leave the house to meet with clients out in my community (as a Real Estate Advisor) which allows me the flexibility to care for pets through the day. We are up at 5am and generally go to bed around 10pm. I am currently working part time and from home so that leaves any plenty of time to care for your dogs and someone is home around the clock. We have a quiet home but are always busy so your dog will stay motivated and keep active. Someone is always home so your dog will be well cared for. They won’t even know you’re gone! SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT: I offer both EXCLUSIVE boarding starting at $60/night and MULTI-family boarding starting at $35/night - your choice depending on your dogs comfort level with other dogs. If you choose EXCLUSIVE Boarding or Daycare, your dog/dogs will the only dogs in my home when they stay. We have a nice large fenced in backyard. And we NEVER LEAVE YOUR DOGS OUTSIDE ALONE OR UNATTENDED. If your dog is accustomed to going to kennels or doggy day care then I also offer a reduced rate for MULTI-FAMILY BOARDING in which your dog(s) could be with dogs from other homes, depending on your dogs’ temperament and disposition. I DO NOT MIX AGGRESSIVE DOGS TOGETHER. I know my regular clients very well and understand which dogs may or may not be a good fit for each other. If your dog likes being crated at night or when we leave the house , I do have crates. Just let us know your preference and if your dog has any anxiety or fears. Tell us how you like your dog cared for and we will make accommodations accordingly! We live in a neighborhood with sidewalks so we can also take your dog for a stroll or an active walk (weather permitting). In the middle of summertime we are very careful so as not to overheat your pup! We also have a digital thermostat and solar so our air conditioning in the hot summertime is monitored and we love keeping the house cool for us and the pups!

About: Having pets for over 25 years, and having done a lot of pet sitting for others, has taught me what unconditional love is. I am committed to understanding what each individual pet needs and wants and I tailor my attention to every pet accordingly. Long walks for dogs ✅ shorter walks ✅ playtime ✅ lots of cuddles ✅ no cuddles, no problem ✅ I am here to care for animals the way they like, as it is all about them. I always walk the dogs at their pace and they can stop and sniff as much as they want ❤️ Working for myself, and two days part-time outside my home, offers ample time to care for your pet, whether in your home or mine. I have a big yard for your puppers to play and take long walks everyday...I would love to have your dog along on my neighborhood treks. I also like to load them up in the truck and drive to new, unexplored parts of town...new sights and sounds and smells to keep our awareness sharp.
“Alison came HIGHLY recommended by two of my best friends and I could not be happier to have booked with her. My pittie mix can be veryyy anxious around new humans but Alison was patient with her and took such good care of our girl after she accepted our very last minute booking. We will absolutely be using her in the future!”

About: I volunteered at Asheville Humane Society for 4 years and worked with all kinds of dogs and cats. I helped with walks, playtime, and basic care, and got used to handling different energy levels and personalities. It made me comfortable reading them and helping them feel safe. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently doing school online and have a very flexible schedule. I’m home most of the day, so I have plenty of time for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins, and can give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I make sure pets feel safe and stick to their usual routine. At my home, I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and always keep an eye on them. In a client’s home, I follow whatever routine they’re used to—feeding, walks, and any specific instructions—so they stay comfortable and well cared for.
About: Dogs and cats were always a constant in my life growing up (even the occasional horse!). Learning how to extend my care to a variety of fur babies from a young age has led me to be very passionate about how deserving they are of consistently top notch care. I will always treat another persons animals with kindness and respect, as if they were my own. I have experience with senior dogs but am also no stranger to our younger, more playful pups. My experience with cats is a little more limited but I have always enjoyed caring for them. I’ve helped many friends and family members with their animals, and would love to extend that service to more people. If you’re a first time Rover user, you can use this link to get $20 off your first walk with me https://www.rover.com/sit/nicolb57032 I am totally willing to do overnight stays or late night drop-in visits when discussed. Feel free to shoot me a message with any scheduling questions! I’m available any time on Wednesdays and Thursdays right now I value communication and transparency between me and all pet parents. The top priority is to keep all pets safe and cared for at all times.
About: I had my dog from age 6-18 and I was her main caretaker. I taught her a lot of tricks, so I am familiar with a lot of common commands. She was so special to me, so I can ensure that I will always treat your pets with the most kindness and respect to honor that bond. I am currently going to college, but I have a lot of flexibility. It is summer so classes are not currently running, and I have more time to care for animals! While boarding, I have a fenced in yard as well as a nice neighborhood for walks. Either while boarding or pet sitting, I make sure that I learn their routines from you and make sure that I follow them as closely as possible.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Saint Pete Beach
Cassandra was an amazing sitter for our cat. We were nervous since this was the first time our cat was traveling with us and the first time we used Rover but Cassandra did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and spent extra time making sure our cat was cared for and she went above and beyond! I would recommend her and use her again. Five stars. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
