About: I have raised and trained service dogs in the past (golden retrievers). I had to have the dogs regularly checked, kept them up to date on shots, groomed, and of course given them all the love and cuddles they deserve! I’ve always had a passion for animals and have been taught on how to care for them and I am willing to accommodate the needs of any pet! I now have two golden retrievers of my own that I have raised and trained as well as a cat. I have dealt with a wide range of common health issues with pets! I have always been athletic and having big dogs only makes me get outside more and ensure that they get enough physical and emotional attention. I am willing to go on long walks with the pets or even just lounge on the couch if that’s what they prefer! I work from home so I am very flexible depending on the pet. I typically walk the dogs for 2 miles in the morning before starting my day, they go outside pretty frequently during the day and depending on my schedule I will go on an evening walk as well. I have a fully fenced in yard for the dogs to play, take them on lots of walks, and love to give them plenty of snuggles (if they like that)!
About: As a kid,I grew up with miniature schnauzers, Oscar and Rupert. They were my best friends and now my Guardian Angels! Now, my parents have Buster, who is 11 years old. He a a mix of breeds but the sweetest and most-loyal dog. I see him a few times a year when I travel and help my parents take care of him, no matter the hour. I am a teacher for over a decade and am looking for a second “job”, but didn’t really want to work with the public after helping students all day/week. I’ve always had a good connection with animals and they are like therapy for me. So, a friend suggested “Rover”! I currently do not have a pet as my association doesn’t allow it. Rover helps me, too, by giving me the chance to still connect with animals outside of a shelter. “The Dodo” is my favorite go-to for amazing animal stories. 🙏🏼 My schedule is work Monday through Friday. I arrive home and am settled from work around 5PM ET. From there, I can make visits until 9PM ET! I make sure to build a good connection with the owner(s) first, then the animal(s). I will follow the guidance of the owner(s) to give their pet(s) the correct needs.
