“Kelsey did an amazing job with my cat. She listened to directions, showed up consistently, and gave very good care...She put effort in to provide him a safe friend while I was away. She also did a few extra things that were above cat sitting. I felt lucky to find her, highly recommend.”

“Alison was timely, responsive, and took great care when checking on my dog and cat for the first time, taking time to play with my pup while checking in. She will be house sitting for us as well, and I will definitely use her in the future!”

“Excellent care and attention! Nastasia is very loving and caring with my Chihuahua Rasta- and I absolutely love getting all the photo and video updates! I can tell my puppy is happy to have her come hang out with her!”

“First time we hired a dog sitter. Devin was cordial, knowledgeable, and professional. And Max readily took to him. We would not hesitate to call upon him in the future.”

About: Hi, I’m Kylee. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have a 15‑year‑old Pomeranian and two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, especially seniors or animals with unique personalities. I’ve spent years volunteering with shelters, including the SPCA, where I became a behavioral specialist. I worked with dogs and cats who needed extra support, helping them build confidence, reduce anxiety, and become more adoptable. That experience taught me how to read body language, respond calmly, and meet each animal exactly where they are. I’ve also done extensive pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and families, caring for everything from energetic puppies to shy cats to senior dogs who need a slower pace and a gentle routine. I’m comfortable with medication, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra patience. Your pets will get reliable communication, lots of attention, and a safe, calm environment. I treat every animal like my own, and I would only use kennels if it is your preference. I want your pets to feel they’re at a second home. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home and have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I’m already used to caring for my own senior Pomeranian and two cats, so feeding schedules, check‑ins, and quiet companionship are part of my everyday life. Going on walks is something I do daily, both for my dog and for myself, so adding a few more paws to the routine feels completely natural. I also volunteer regularly with local shelters, which keeps me connected to animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. Caring for pets is already woven into my week, and I genuinely enjoy making space for it. I keep things simple and comfortable for pets, whether they’re in my home or their own. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to give animals regular attention, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. At home, I follow routines closely and make sure my senior Pomeranian and two cats have a calm, predictable environment — and I bring that same approach to clients’ pets. In their home, I stick to their normal schedule, keep things tidy, and pay attention to what makes them feel safe and relaxed. My goal is always to make them feel cared for and at ease while you’re away.
“Alexandria was great with our pups!! She came to the meet & greet and asked great questions that made us feel comfortable with her taking care of our pups. She was very responsive for any question or check ins we had. Definitely recommend!!”

“Brittany took such great care of my two cats. She was punctual, professional and kept me posted with updates and photos! Would definitely book with her again.”

About: Having pets for over 25 years, and having done a lot of pet sitting for others, has taught me what unconditional love is. I am committed to understanding what each individual pet needs and wants and I tailor my attention to every pet accordingly. Long walks for dogs ✅ shorter walks ✅ playtime ✅ lots of cuddles ✅ no cuddles, no problem ✅ I am here to care for animals the way they like, as it is all about them. I always walk the dogs at their pace and they can stop and sniff as much as they want ❤️ Working for myself, and two days part-time outside my home, offers ample time to care for your pet, whether in your home or mine. I have a big yard for your puppers to play and take long walks everyday...I would love to have your dog along on my neighborhood treks. I also like to load them up in the truck and drive to new, unexplored parts of town...new sights and sounds and smells to keep our awareness sharp.
About: I had my dog from age 6-18 and I was her main caretaker. I taught her a lot of tricks, so I am familiar with a lot of common commands. She was so special to me, so I can ensure that I will always treat your pets with the most kindness and respect to honor that bond. I am currently going to college, but I have a lot of flexibility. It is summer so classes are not currently running, and I have more time to care for animals! While boarding, I have a fenced in yard as well as a nice neighborhood for walks. Either while boarding or pet sitting, I make sure that I learn their routines from you and make sure that I follow them as closely as possible.
About: I’ve been loving animals my entire life & treat every pet like my own. I’ve owned and cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including high-energy breeds, senior dogs, and pets with medical needs. I currently care for my own dog, Auggie (8), who requires daily medication, a special diet, and extra attention due to anxiety and seizures, so I’m very comfortable handling detailed care routines and staying attentive to a pet’s health and behavior!! I’ve also helped raise and care for multiple dogs over the years, including training basic obedience, grooming, and managing multi-dog households. I regularly help care for a Siberian Husky (high energy!) and have experience with reactive and strong personalities. In addition to dogs, I’ve pet-sat for cats and small animals (hamsters, fish, reptiles, etc.) for neighbors and friends since I was young. I’ve even been running my own little pet-sitting and dog-walking gigs since I was a kid, and this has always been something I really love, just getting to be around animals. ❤️ I’m very communicative, send regular updates and photos, and make sure you feel completely comfortable while you’re away. Your pet will be safe, loved, and cared for like my own fur baby family! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week for drop-ins, walks, and in-home pet care. As I begin my part-time contract work, I will continue to have flexibility with availability, especially during mornings, afternoons, lunch breaks, and weeknights. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide consistent, dependable care that fits their needs! :) I provide in-home care in your pet’s own environment, where they can feel most comfortable and secure. I understand that welcoming someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big responsibility, and I treat every home with the same respect and care I would want for my own. I follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s normal routine, pay attention to their behavior and needs, and provide updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Lauren is always amazing with my animals! I trust her completely when I need to leave my babies behind. She’s very reliable and I know my Border Collie loves to see her!”

“Dylan went above and beyond to get to our house to take good care of our sweet rabbit for 9 days during a huge winter storm. He shoveled and had to walk in from the road due to all the snow and he kept us up to date daily.”

“We had great confidence and peace of mind in leaving our senior kitty in Andrea’s care. In our first meeting we could see Andrea’s skill and experience shine through in the way she treated Giselle. Couldn’t be happier.”

“Anika was so kind and a perfect fit for our fur babies. She watched them for over a week. Besides routine care, you could tell she really took time to love on our cats and get used to what they liked. One of our cats is pretty shy and usually hides when people come over, but by a few days in, he was running to the door to greet her. She also sent us lots of pictures, checked in with us when things weren’t normal, and cared for our home as well. Thank you Anika!”

About: My work allows me to work from home and I also leave the house to meet with clients out in my community (as a Real Estate Advisor) which allows me the flexibility to care for pets through the day. We are up at 5am and generally go to bed around 10pm. I am self employed (Real Estate Agent) so I have a flexible schedule and work from home and when I leave I am away from home for about 2-4 hours. I have a quiet home in a quiet safe community. I keep busy at home throughout the day with working on the computer to doing basic household chores and some gardening so your dog will stay stimulated and keep active. And there’s plenty of rest and relaxation too! SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT: I offer both EXCLUSIVE boarding starting at $60/night and MULTI-family boarding starting at $35/night - your choice depending on your dogs comfort level with other dogs. If you choose EXCLUSIVE Boarding or Daycare, your dog/dogs will the only dogs in my home when they stay. I have a nice fenced in backyard. And I NEVER LEAVE YOUR DOGS OUTSIDE ALONE OR UNATTENDED. If your dog is accustomed to going to kennels or doggy day care then I also offer a reduced rate for MULTI-FAMILY BOARDING in which your dog(s) could be with dogs from other homes, depending on your dogs’ temperament and disposition. I DO NOT MIX AGGRESSIVE DOGS TOGETHER. I know my regular clients very well and understand which dogs may or may not be a good fit for each other. If your dog likes being crated at night or when I leave the house , I do have crates. Just let me know your preference and if your dog has any anxiety or fears. Tell us how you like your dog cared for and we will make accommodations accordingly! I live in a quiet neighborhood so I can also take your dog for a stroll or an active walk (weather permitting). In the middle of summertime I am very careful so as not to overheat your pup! I am self employed and leave the house from time to time (real estate agent) so some days I’m home all day and other times I’m gone for about 2-4 hours.
“Emma is amazing! I have 3 dogs that can be a handful alone but are even more so when they work as a team. She saved our holiday trip by being able to take the dogs on short notice and absolutely crushed it after our normal sitter had to cancel. I don’t advertise often but in this case Emma is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - South Pasadena
Brittany was absolutely amazing! I have both a dog and a cat, and she took such great care of them. She arrived on time for every single check-in and kept me updated throughout the entire weekend with tons of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. On the last night, my AC unexpectedly went out, and Brittany immediately alerted me. She was incredibly helpful and was even able to get it turned back on for me. She also showed so much care and concern for my dog by turning on a fan and giving her some ice water since the house had gotten a little warm. Brittany was so kind, considerate, reliable, and attentive to both of my pets. She truly went above and beyond. She is hands down the best Rover sitter I’ve had, and I would absolutely use her again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets and their home!

Rebeca is amazing! She is so attentive, caring, and thoughtful. She took such wonderful care of our cat and gave me so much peace of mind that I could truly enjoy my time away. Her communication was excellent, and she always went the extra mile to make us feel special and cared for. I’m so happy knowing our girl was in such good hands while we were away. We highly recommend Rebeca and will definitely book with her again! ❤️

Hilary is AMAZING! 😍😍 We are anxious cat Moms because we are home with our 3 cats most days. We were looking for someone who is great at communication, loves animals, and someone we vibe with. Hilary met and exceeded those on our first meet up, our cats were instantly comfortable. The first cat sitting visit went so well. Hilary sent pictures upon arriving, more of our kitties during the visit, and a message when she left. We could not be happier with Hilary. Our kitties are excited for their next hang out with her.

Anika is hands down the best Rover sitter my fur kids have ever had. We all will miss her as we are moving out of state. I can’t recommend her enough. She’s responsive, reliable, communicative and writes the best report cards- I feel like I’m really caught up on the animals with her in charge. If you’re looking for a good sitter look no further!

Kylie was beyond amazing! I love to travel but have always been stressed whenever away from my boys & was never able to leave for the length of time I’d like. Kylie made the whole experience so smooth & so easy! Not once did I stress on vacation & they even went above & beyond, asking if they could help groom Jerry! I’m beyond grateful to have her in my life now & will book her instantly whenever traveling. I would recommend her to anyone & everyone! She cares about your pets & your household. I came home to clean dishes, litter & happy kitties! We love Kylie!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
