During the initial consultation, I take notes on their schedule, learned commands, dietary habits, favorite toys, and much more. I then use that information to make sure your pets are comfortable and well taken care of during my visits.

A typical day
I love breakfast & coffee time with the pets I watch! If they're able to go outside, we enjoy walks, throwing the ball around, or slow sniffs around the yard for the low energy fuzzballs. If we can't do outside time, cuddles on the couch, tug of war, & brush time are a must!

I've been a passionate dog owner and animal lover for over 20 years. Throughout the years, I've had the joy of sharing my life with both medium and small dogs, and I’ve also had the opportunity to work with large and extra-large breeds. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I love building strong, trusting relationships with each pup I look after. Whether your dog is calm and cuddly or energetic and playful, I’m experienced and equipped to handle a wide range of behaviors. I truly believe in giving every dog the love, attention, and care they deserve, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. We had an unusual pet sitting request with a stray cat we are transitioning into a domesticated indoor cat. Amanda was incredibly patient with the process and was able to successfully provide some excellent care and what appeared to be some very needy cuddles to our new member of the family, courtesy of the cat distribution system. She communicated well and provided adequate and occasionally entertaining photos. I would highly recommend Amanda for any pet care. She was absolutely terrific!
Amanda was fantastic with our cat and rolling with some last minute changes for the visits. Our cat loved her and we felt very comfortable with her watching him and our place while we were out of the country. She’s a true animal lover and treats the pets under her care like her own.
