They can either come with me to a dog-friendly workplace for lots of attention, pets, and breaks, or relax at home. If they stay home, I can stop by during lunch for a potty break and check-in. I have a safe, clean home with a fenced-in backyard for supervised outdoor time. I also have a friendly, well-socialized lab mix named Pete who enjoys the company of other dogs. I’m attentive to each dog’s needs, routines, and comfort level, and I always prioritize safety, structure, and lots of love.
About: I have been caring for dogs most of my life and love every dog as if they’re my own. I have experience with all life stages and personalities - whether your dog is high energy and needs lots of playtime or is a senior who just wants to relax and be loved on. I am used to medication management, special diets, mobility challenges and bottle feeding. My adult dog, Olive, is always looking for a new friend to play with. I also foster puppies from time to time, so there may be lots of new friends for your pup to interact with while they’re here. I tailor my care to match animals’ personality and routine. My goal is to make them feel safe, happy and well-cared for while you’re away. Whether that is day care during the day or a long-term trip, they will be in good hands. I am fully remote and will be with your pup(s) all day. We will have plenty of outdoor play time during the day and always make time for afternoon naps. There is a nice 3 mile walking path by my house, so if your dog is very active and likes to walk or run, I would love to bring them along. For less active dogs, there will always be a comfy spot on the couch for them! I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for them to explore. My dog, Olive, loves to run around back there. There are also cooling mats on the back porch if your dog likes to sunbathe.
“Kolin and Adam are so incredible! We went out of country for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Years. We interviewed several pet sitters and companies but none of them compare to Kolin and Adam caring for our two dogs Nora and Copper. They messaged us on a consistent time, they shared lots of photos and updates. It was so easy to trust them and not worry. Our dogs were so happy to lounge out the couch, watch tv with them, and run in the yard. We are so lucky and grateful to have found them. Highly recommend these two gentleman! Jane and Dan were absolutely amazing with our two dogs again. This is our second time using them and they honestly treat them like their own. It is such a relief to know that we can go out of town now and not have to worry. We were previously using a local big name boarding facility and had some bad experiences. The dogs are so happy at Jane and Dan's,l and it is like being at a home away from home where they get constant care, cuddles, kisses and playtime, and we get lots of updates and pictures.
Amy was amazing! She met us for an introduction on relatively short notice and made us feel at ease from the very beginning. Our dog is an old lady with a few personality quirks due to her age and she never made her out to be a burden in anyway. She fulfilled all of our expectations and made us feel comfortable that our girl was getting the same love she would at home. We will definitely be using her again!
Amy was a great sitter for our dog, Theo, while we were away on vacation! She was easy to work with, sent great photos and updates, and even bought Theo a ball that she sent him home with.
