“This was our third time rebooking with Rachel—she’s simply the best! We really appreciated the morning and evening updates with photos. Always reliable and caring.”

“Marquita took great care of Gentry! Gentry came home happy and peaceful. I truly appreciate all she did to make my girl feel comfortable. Thank you Marquita!!”

“Yet another fantastic stay (our 3rd) with our favorite dog sitter! Tabetha is absolutely wonderful with Mia - I couldn't ask for a better caregiver for our precious furbaby! Not only have all the past signs of separation anxiety disappeared, it actually seemed that Mia (our pup) was a bit disappointed to go home this time - we aren't quite as much fun as Tabetha is! :)”

“They were amazing! Super reliable, friendly, and treated our dog like family. They sent lots of photos and video updates, which gave us such peace of mind. We came home to a very happy pup. Highly recommend!”

“Brittany was amazing! She gave me updates multiple times a day and took great care of my little one. She even offered a meet and great before I booked with her to make sure my dog would be comfortable in her home. She is very thoughtful and extremely kind-hearted. Will definitely be calling her the next time I need a dog sitter!”

“Cara is the best!! I had my dogs stay with her and her fiancé for 6 nights. She sent pictures and updates daily. My dogs were super comfortable with her and her dog, Lola. Cara has a large, fenced backyard which made my dogs the happiest! I will definitely book with Cara again.”

“Yessica and her husband were amazing! They have the perfect set up for the pups. They kept me updated all weekend and sent a ton of pics/videos. Couldn’t have asked for any better! Will definitely be bringing Dewey back to them in the future!”

“Thanks to Lindsey and her family, my dog Jack had a wonderful stay away from home. Their backyard was beautiful and spacious and photos of Jack enjoying himself were delivered daily. It’s so important to me to feel comfortable and confident that Jack is well cared for while I’m away. Lindsey and family provided that peace of mind for me. Thank you!”

About: I have a strong background caring for dogs and am very comfortable with a variety of sizes, breeds, and personalities. I work from my home so your dog will get plenty of attention. I’m active and love going outside for walks, but I’m also great at adjusting to each dog’s energy level—whether they’re playful or prefer a more laid-back routine. I also have a small Maltipoo at home who is very friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs, which can be great for social pups. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and make it a priority to follow your dog’s routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your dog is doing. I currently work remote so am home most of the day. I like to walk my dog every 2-4 hours. I’m pretty active so am willing to either run or walk with your dog. I do not have a fenced yard so all walks or runs will be done on leash. Dogs will be treated as part of the family and allowed on furniture in the house.
“Pamela and Darren created the ultimate pup-cation for my dogs; not sure they wanted to come back home to me;) So grateful to have found this dog loving couple, I would not think twice about leaving my fur kids with them for all of our family's travel needs.”

“Hurley felt right at home with Pamela and her dog. She took great care of him. She kept me updated and sent pictures throughout the day. She gave him all his medicine and walked him everyday. Definitely recommend her to anyone!!!! Next time I need someone I will use her again!!!!”

“Bri took care of my labradoodle for almost 2 weeks. She kept me updated with pictures and videos. She did a fantastic job and I will Be using her again. Pa. She has the sweetest Aussie that kept my baby company, and they played for days.”

“I loved that when we went to the meet-and-greet, Grace went straight to the floor to caress Arena. From the beginning, she was warm and professional. She has a lovely home, and she made us feel welcome. I would not hesitate to bring my puppy back to her, and I hope she is available next time we need boarding services for our sweet Arena.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Redington Beach
Our Shih Pooh Harper’s first vacation away and he came home ready for a long nap! No issues. He’s happy to be back home as you would expect, but I think he was looking around our house today for his new friends. I think we’ll find another weekend adventure and send him to stay with Brian and Betty Ann again.

Champ and Cocoa loved their extended stay with Carley. They were happy, healthy when we picked them up. They are now sleeping it out. We appreciated Carley’s care since Champ needs several medications and goggles when walking in the sun. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Carley next trip we take…

Tucker had the best time with Walter and Athena! He took such good care of our boy when we were gone for the week that Tucker actually misses them!! He was sad the next day that he didn’t wake up with his new dog friend! Will always choose this sitter for all of our future needs! Communication was 5 star! Walter was super accommodating with all of our needs with drop off and pick up! And he was sure to send pictures everyday and give us updates! Thank you Walter and Athena!!

Gina and her husband Mike were great, and took excellent care of our Teacup Yorki, Misha. They send several updates with photos and videos while we were on our trip, and it was clear that Misha was totally comfortable with them. I'd be happy to use Gina's services whenever we need to fly somewhere, I know I'll be able to trust that our Misha will be in good hands and loved while we're away. Thanks, Gina!

Chelsea and her husband Alex are excellent pet sitters. I have used them many times to take care of my beloved shihtzu, and I know she's in good hands while I'm gone. I always receive daily pictures and communication. I highly recommend them if you need someone to care for your fur baby!
I had a great experience boarding my dogs with her for 4 days and 3 nights. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and her whole family made my dogs feel at home. Her two teenagers and husband were very helpful, and my dogs especially adored her daughter — she let them sleep with her, which really helped them feel comfortable and secure. She sent me daily updates with pictures and videos, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. It truly felt like my dogs were treated as part of the family. I would absolutely recommend her and would not hesitate to book with her again!

Alex was very responsive during the booking process. We had a meet and greet to make sure our dog Abby was comfortable at her home, which she was very happy to see a fenced in back yard to play. Alex was great with our high energy dog during the 5 day stay. Alex kept me updated everyday with pictures and cute messages. When I picked up our dog she was very happy. I could tell she was well cared for. I would book with Alex again.

I feel so fortunate to have found Kate for watching my sweet boy, Riley, when I travel. She’s absolutely the perfect person to care for him, and Riley clearly loves the time he spends with her. It has greatly eased my anxiety about leaving him because I know he’s in great care.

Meredith was willing to watch our sweet Luna after meeting up. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Her home was very comfortable and the neighborhood quite dog friendly. Most importantly, Meredith was flexible when my flight home was delayed more than six hours. Luna came home healthy and happy!! 😊 we would definitely trust Luna with Meredith again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
