About: I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I understand that pets are family, I treat every pet in my care with patience, kindness, and plenty of attention. I have always had pets in my life ever since I was a child, I can't imagine a life without them. My husband and I of 26 years have always had a dog and a cat in our home, our 2 kids grew up with them as well. We are now empty nesters and our recent family dog Tank passed last year at 17 years old. Oh how we miss him! We currently do not have a dog, but do have a cat named Cali. She is 12 yrs old, has her own space and typically does not interact with the dogs. Our son and his fiance have two dogs (Corgi and Golden Retriever) that we have taken care of when needed since they were puppies. Neighbors and friends have also relied on us to watch, check in with, feed, walk and play with their pups and kitties. We have a fenced back yard with pool, our grand pups enjoy the sun shelf to cool off and occasionally jump in. We live close to the Pinellas Trail as well which is great for early morning and evening walks. I am comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and other pets. I'm happy to follow your pet's usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and lots of cuddles! About: I’ve never owned a cat or have taken care of one at my home due to family members having allergies, but I’d certainly be available to checking in on cats at another’s house. About: I have a combination of professional pet care experience and firsthand experience caring for a cat with complex medical needs. I rescued my cat Smokey after finding him crying in a storm drain during college, and over the years I’ve managed chronic cardiac issues with him that required close monitoring, medications, routine changes, and constant attention to behavior and symptoms. This experience has made me extremely observant, patient, and detail oriented when it comes to feline care. I live right by a park, so I love taking my dogs for short walks or just to go roam around in the lawn, whatever they're in the mood for :) I'm super attentive to their needs, as I currently own two senior doggos (a beagle and a dachshund) and have been able to spot even the littlest physical/emotional changes in them. On that note, I’d prefer to ONLY board dogs that are not high-energy or territorial, so as to help keep my small senior dogs safe. I love keeping owners updated with pictures/texts to make them feel like their fur babies are right there with them! Our son and his fiance have two dogs (Corgi and Golden Retriever) that we have taken care of when needed since they were puppies. Neighbors and friends have also relied on us to watch, check in with, feed, walk and play with their pups and kitties. We have a fenced back yard with pool, our grand pups enjoy the sun shelf to cool off and occasionally jump in. We live close to the Pinellas Trail as well which is great for early morning and evening walks. I am comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and other pets. About: I've had many animals, all my life. I've had Sunny (42) my late Grandma's parrot for the last 12 years. I volunteered for a non-profit horse rescue for 3 years. About: I've had a pet in the house since childhood. Dogs, cats, birds, fish. However, dogs have always been there. I've had many occasions to petsit for friends, family and my neighbors. I'll treat your dog as my own. I am a retired firefighter (pet first aid training) and at home most of the day with exception of errands, gym, shopping and other typical day activities. Your pet will get plenty of attention and playtime inside and out. My backyard is totally fenced in, so it's safe and secure. I make sure not to have any toxic plants in the house or in the yard. I only use pet-safe products for lawn and garden. I have one dog, an 11 year old Goldendoodle that loves other dogs, large and small. I've had a pet in my home most of my life.
