“Claire is amazing ! This was our first time using Rover and we picked a winner all around. I received daily updates with pictures of Gaby and Keyser! Gaby was well taken care of and was treated like she was,at home while we were away. I would highly recommend Claire as she will certainly be our Rover choice again”

“I'm so glad I found Brittany to watch my 2 chihuahuas! She has a backyard which they loved and she sent me updates while I was gone. One of my chihuahuas is 15 so she needs some extra care and attention, and Brittany was able to give her that. I'll definitely be using her again!”

“We left our two dogs with Jane for a few days for boarding, and we had a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, everything felt easy and trustworthy. She kept us updated the entire time with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dogs looked happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. When we picked them up, they were in great spirits and settled back home comfortably, which says a lot. We’re really grateful for the care and attention she gave them, and we would absolutely trust her again in the future. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable and caring place for their pets!”

“I’m not typically one for rave reviews, but it’s easy to rave about Linda! She is kind, caring, and so good with my rescue dog Coco. Coco was in a cage for years so she has separation anxiety. And Linda knew just what to do to put her at ease. She also sent lots of pictures, stayed in constant contact, and asked all of the right questions. If I could give 10 stars I would.”

“Amy was great, my dog felt very comfortable at her house and got along with her dog perfectly. My dog can be anxious and have trouble eating when we leave but we had absolutely no issues since she had one on one with her. Amy even had no problem keeping her an extra day when our flight was delayed. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you Amy!!”

“I had a great experience booking with Molly. She took excellent care of Rocco, communicated perfectly, and sent plenty of updates so I knew he was doing well. It’s great finding someone so reliable and easy to work with. I’d definitely book her again. 5/5 stars.”
“Our 2 gave Billy a run for his money! He is the best. First class service. our only disappointment will be if he is booked and can not watch our babies in the future.”

“Poppy had the best time staying with Grace, I’m so thankful for the love she showed my baby girl. Pictures and videos throughout Poppy’s stay gave me peace of mind, I definitely recommend & already planning Poppy’s next stay ❤️”

“My 2 little ones stayed with Julie and Brian and they were great! Lots of pictures and they were very welcoming and responsive. I will definitely reach out to them again.”

“Pamela was the best! She accommodated my pup last minute, for a week, AND over the holidays! Her pup Argo and my dog had so much fun together. She texted me updates and pics all week. I’m so thankful and will def be using her again!”

“Dian was so kind and caring to my small dog I immediately felt at ease upon arrival at her home with a large completely fenced back yard. My small dog was very happy and content at her home. I would feel confident in bringing my dog back to her home again and wholeheartedly recommend her.”

“I highly reccomend Jackie C. She took really good care of Maya, a nervous gal at all times. Jackie kept me updated with photos and comments. I think Maya enjoyed her stay. Five stars!”

“Francesca did a great job caring for Luna. Luna is anxious and timid around new people and places and the set up and care Francesca gave her was wonderful. I knew she was in good hands the whole time I was out of town!”

“Absolutely love this family! And most importantly, so did our dog Scout! He’s already missing the big backyard they have and all the sweet loving he received from Lindsey & her family. Will 100% be booking again with her!! Thank you so much Lindsey 🥰”

“Ruthie and her husband were incredibly kind and took such great care of our Benny. They kept him active, happy, and well loved throughout his stay. We especially appreciated the frequent photos and updates, which gave us a peace of mind while we were away knowing he was in such good hands. We would happily trust them with Benny again!”

“Jennifer is an absolute legend & we can’t say enough great things. This is coming from a VERY skeptical dog-watching-app-user. I’ve heard all the horror stories and have never had anyone outside of my family watch my dogs, so getting into Rover was a tough call for my husband and I. We had a long international trip planned a few months back & our friend fell through, so we were willing to give it a shot with rover. When we did the house visit with Jennifer, we felt so much better after seeing her beautiful family and home. We were still wary of the whole situation, obviously, but felt immediately reassured once we left and received all sorts of adorable updates via pictures, videos and messages with pup activities! She even let our little one (frenchie, who doesn’t leave Jennifer’s side) sleep in bed with her/her kids & she gives her all the love and extra attention she needs. She even took Chowder (frenchie) to pick up her kids from school one day, so fun! She knows our bigger dog (Obi) so well - she understands that he’s a chaotic ball of energy who doesn’t have boundaries and I trust her to keep him in line & keep him from chewing his sisters paws off lol. Jennifer’s whole family is hands on with the pups and it’s so reassuring and sweet to see people of all ages hanging out with our doggos. I swear it’s like vacation for the dogs too. I am 99% sure that the dogs think Jennifer is their other mom. She genuinely knows them so well, it is clear to us that she is an involved and attentive friend to the pups. We left our two dogs with her again for spring break and had the exact same experience, she is just truly the best. It has alleviated the stress of finding a family member to step in when we go on longer trips. Our dogs are our babies & we thought we’d never trust someone outside our family/friends, but here we are, all thanks to Jennifer (and her cute kids/family!) thank you Jennifer!!!!”

“I loved everything about Erica. She waz so welcoming at our meet and greet bobber felt at home with her. The only thing im disappointed about is that shes so good that she booked up. Byt thats really a good thing. Thank you Erica”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Pasadena
Absolutely incredible! Emma and William were perfectly attentive and sweet. They took my Baby Boy on an adventure and were cautious of the breathing challenges associated with his breed (pug) by making sure he had plenty of water and a cold pack. Emma made custom treats for Baby Boy because of his dietary issues. I received multiple photos throughout his stay and he looked so happy in every photo! I can't imagine a better pair of sitters for my Baby Boy!

Lindsay was wonderful! She took great care of Roxy, who clearly came home happy and relaxed. Lindsay kept me updated every day with lots of photos and followed all of Roxy’s feeding instructions perfectly. I was so happy with the experience. Roxy came back looking like she truly had a great time with her. Highly recommend!

Ruthie and her husband were incredibly kind and took such great care of our Benny. They kept him active, happy, and well loved throughout his stay. We especially appreciated the frequent photos and updates, which gave us a peace of mind while we were away knowing he was in such good hands. We would happily trust them with Benny again!

my past dog sitter moved away and Savannah was able to help me with a last minute booking, she was incredibly caring and made sure to send me lots of pictures and updates of my baby! diego seemed really sad to leave her which is always a good sign! i will definitely be using her services again!
Jane and Dan were absolutely amazing with our two dogs again. This is our second time using them and they honestly treat them like their own. It is such a relief to know that we can go out of town now and not have to worry. We were previously using a local big name boarding facility and had some bad experiences. The dogs are so happy at Jane and Dan's,l and it is like being at a home away from home where they get constant care, cuddles, kisses and playtime, and we get lots of updates and pictures.

Amy was amazing! She met us for an introduction on relatively short notice and made us feel at ease from the very beginning. Our dog is an old lady with a few personality quirks due to her age and she never made her out to be a burden in anyway. She fulfilled all of our expectations and made us feel comfortable that our girl was getting the same love she would at home. We will definitely be using her again!

Amy was a great sitter for our dog, Theo, while we were away on vacation! She was easy to work with, sent great photos and updates, and even bought Theo a ball that she sent him home with. He has played with that ball daily! Her dog and Theo got along well too. We will definitely consider her again for our future needs. We're happy to have found her!

J’aime was amazing! She sent daily pictures and videos of my pup having the greatest time. Her backyard is amazing for large energetic dogs and her heart is so full of patience and compassion. I don’t have the easiest pup to deal but J’aime overcame obstacles during the stay like it was no big deal! I would highly recommend her and rebook a stay again.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
