From the first time I messaged Susan, she was very friendly and willing to work with our schedules to do a meet and greet, and she agreed to care for both our pups (one senior and one with anxiety), while only meeting one of them during the meet and greet. During our boys’ weeklong stay with Susan, we got daily updates with pics, which gave us so much peace of mind because we knew our boys were getting so greatly cared for while we were away, and they got plenty of walks and attention, since Susan only takes one pup or family at a time. One of our pups ended up getting an upset stomach on the bed of the other pup, and Susan went above and beyond in dealing with this situation, even going as far as washing the bed so it was clean for us when we arrived to pick them up. It can be hard to leave your furry babies with someone you just met, but we got the most amazing and calm energy from Susan from the first time we met, even our anxious boy went up to her to get scratches (which has NOT happened before with anyone), and we just knew this was going to be someone who would really take care of both pups. 10000% recommended, and we will most definitely be rebooking for future travels! He can be a little particular—he's an older dog with dietary restrictions, doesn't care much for other animals, and takes some time to warm up to new people—but they were incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding of his needs. They kept me updated, followed all of his instructions, and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. It's never easy leaving your pet behind, especially one with a few quirks, but I felt completely comfortable with Spike in their care. Lori and her pup Sasha took amazing care of my pup Charlie!! I received photos and comments thru her stay. Sasha welcomed Charlie in with open arms. They napped together on the couch within 30 minutes of drop off!! Lori is a dog person and you can tell it from the start. Alex was very responsive during the booking process. We had a meet and greet to make sure our dog Abby was comfortable at her home, which she was very happy to see a fenced in back yard to play. Alex was great with our high energy dog during the 5 day stay. Alex kept me updated everyday with pictures and cute messages. When I picked up our dog she was very happy. I could tell she was well cared for. I would book with Alex again.
