“We’ve booked Rachel twice and she’s been great! Easy to communicate with and very kind and compassionate taking care of our cats. Will definitely book again :)”

“Alexandria was great with our pups!! She came to the meet & greet and asked great questions that made us feel comfortable with her taking care of our pups. She was very responsive for any question or check ins we had. Definitely recommend!!”

“Elise was awesome! We ended up evacuating due to Hurricane Milton and took the dogs with us. However, Elise had already come by for a meet and greet and the dogs were both very comfortable with her immediately. After the hurricane had passed, Elise came over to check on our house and let us know its condition. Such peace of mind. Thank you Elise!”

“OMG, Alissandra is a life saver and went beyond our ask by taking care of our babies, but taking care of a major issue at the house with a large delivery that was delivered a day earlier. Alessandra stepped in and by herself brought inside the house more than 65 boxes of flooring. I cannot thank her enough for all she did and instead of stars, she should be getting diamonds. Thank You, Alissandra you are amazing and will be making additional doggie seatings with you and no one else. ❤️”

“Julie was wonderful. My dog had made a mess with some trash in the house and she was nice enough to clean it all up. She was great with my dog and he loved her. Julie is wonderful I'd recommend her to anyone.”

“Iva was the sweetest and most accommodating sitter we could have asked for! She handled our cats special needs wonderfully and look forward to booking her again in the future!”

“Appreciate you!! Max was sitting comfortably in his window bed without a care in the world when I got home. Your attentiveness means a lot. Very rarely are Max and I apart, so your fantastic pics bring me great peace of mind. Thanks so much for spending the extra time with him, too!”

“Kierra was absolutely amazing!! She took great care of my cats while I was away. Any time she had a question she would contact me and go to extra efforts to make everything work. She is very responsive, flexible, and reliable. I highly recommend booking with her!”

“Excellent care and attention! Nastasia is very loving and caring with my Chihuahua Rasta- and I absolutely love getting all the photo and video updates! I can tell my puppy is happy to have her come hang out with her!”

“Emily is very prompt with her communication and is very attentive to the needs of our pups which can fluctuate week to week. We appreciate her flexibility and communication when we can’t be there!! Highly recommended!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals! At one point we had 2 large labs, 3 rabbits, 2 cats and fish! All of my animals lived a happy and healthy life, with lots of outdoor time! I currently have one large lab mix, which I adopted in Austin, TX, and a small chihuahua mix that is native to St. Pete. I have had a profound love for all animals for as long as I can remember. I work from home and have a flexible schedule to meet your needs. Bonus, I take a lot of Instagram worthy pics. Excited to meet more dogs, cats, or other pets in St. Pete! Chat me so we can see if it’s a good fit. 😊 I have work from home flexibility, and will make your pet a priority in my routine. I am happy to discuss details, and accommodations needed. I live in a home with a fence, and always go outside with the dogs when they are in the yard. Plenty of water and playtime is always a must. When at your home, I will rely and trust your instructions.
“Dan was absolutely fantastic and took great care of our boys. Showed up on time for every visit, took pictures and gave us updates while we were away. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable animal lover!”

“Colleen was great w/ Sheba! She was very responsive to messages and questions, and communicates in a very clear style. I got really cute and thoughtful photos showcasing Sheba eating and general antics. I'm pretty sure she misses Colleen more now, than me when i go away. i will def work with her again.”
“Sydney was excellent with communication and sent several pics to keep us updated on our fluffy butt. We appreciated the willingness to do a meet & greet first and flexibility with the schedule. We would absolutely recommend Sydney to friends and rebook ourselves for future as well!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West and East Lealman. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
