About: 🐾 Wagging Tails, Happy Hearts, Peace of Mind While You're Apart 🐾 I have a genuine connection with animals and a love for them that is difficult to put into words. From as far back as I can remember, I've been drawn to nature and animals of all kinds—big and small. Caring for animals isn't just something I do; it's a lifelong passion that has always been a part of who I am. Throughout my life, I've rescued and cared for countless animals and have a natural ability to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe pet care goes beyond meeting basic physical needs. My goal is to provide companionship, enrichment, comfort, and an overall sense of well-being so your pets feel happy, secure, and cared for while you're away. Whether your furry family members are staying with me or I'm caring for them in the comfort of your home, they will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone else with your beloved companions. Every pet has their own unique personality, routines, quirks, and preferences, and I take the time to learn and respect those details. Maintaining their familiar routines helps keep them comfortable, stress-free, and happy while you're away, giving you peace of mind knowing they're in caring and capable hands. **Specialized Care & Experience** I have experience caring for pets with a wide variety of unique needs and personalities. Whether your pet is shy, reactive, unsocialized, elderly, very young, disabled, recovering from illness or injury, or simply has their own special routines and quirks, I provide patient, individualized care tailored to their comfort and well-being. My experience includes: • Senior (geriatric) pet care • Puppy and kitten (pediatric) care • Special-needs and disabled pets • Reactive, fearful, or unsocialized animals • Medication administration (oral, topical, and other routine medications) • Post-surgical and recovery support • Mobility assistance and accommodations • Maintaining specialized feeding, exercise, and behavioral routines I understand that every pet is unique. I take the time to learn their preferences, triggers, habits, and routines so they feel safe, secure, and understood while you're away. ❤️ Pet care is my primary focus this summer, giving me the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of schedules and care needs. I understand how important consistency and routine are, so I work to ensure their care fits seamlessly into their normal day. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, multiple daily visits, medication, specialized attention, or full day/overnight sitting, I have the availability to provide dependable, personalized care and plenty of attention while you're away. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment that feels as close to your pet's normal routine as possible. In my home, pets have access to a securely fenced backyard with plenty of shade for supervised outdoor time. I share my home with one senior dog and three cats who are accustomed to other animals. Depending on your preferences and your pet's personality, they can socialize with my pets or be kept completely separate. I understand that not every animal enjoys company, and I'm happy to accommodate whatever makes them most comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I would my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and any special instructions to help maintain consistency and reduce stress while you're away. I also respect your home, belongings, privacy, and household routines, ensuring both you and your pets feel comfortable and secure. My goal is always to provide attentive, personalized care so your pets feel safe, happy, and loved whether they're staying with me or remaining in the comfort of their own home.
About: I am a huge animal lover. I was raised with small dogs (Shih Tzu, Pekinese) . As an adult, I have had a Boxer, two Labs and a cat. I am at a point in my life where I love being around animals but I live in a place where I can only have one animal and that’s my cat. I am blessed that I get to work primarily from home or anywhere. I can work while making sure your fur babies are home safe. I do go into the office one day a week but I can choose that day. I would care for your fur babies in the comfort of their home. I feel this makes them more comfortable and easier to keep them on their schedule.
About: I have my own little dog back at home with my parents, and have had the privilege of living with my roommate’s dog and watching him while she is away. Although I grew up with a small dog, I have quite a soft spot for big sweethearts and sassy cats! I currently work a remote job from home, and just lost my weekend bartending job, so I am looking for some furballs to keep me company & get me out of the house! I can take long walks, short walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, or just give your dog some extra attention! We can go for drives, get pup cups, or go to the dog park.
“Kiley was fantastic and I felt so comfortable knowing she was with my pups while I was away. She was so flexible and caring. Very patient with my anxious pup and was great with updates! Very happy and am so happy to have found a sitter I truly trust. Thank you!”

About: I am a single 31 year-old who has a lot of experience with dogs and cats myself, I work from home so I have all the time in the world for fur babies With me working from home, my work is very flexible, I have plenty of time to give attention to fur babies with playtime and plenty of walks I am available for overnight drop offs at my apartment complex, or just for the day, we have a dog park here at the apartment and plenty of walking space
“Nicholas always arrives on time and was able to care for Jade well. She requires medication as she has some behavioral issues but he seems to manage her well. He also communicates clearly and is polite. I'll be using him in the future.”

About: I've spent years caring for pets of all kinds, and it's something that comes naturally to me. My own dog is 14 now and has lived with severe anxiety his entire life, so I've learned firsthand how to keep a nervous pet calm, comfortable, and feeling safe. That patience carries over to every animal I look after. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, big breeds included, and just as at home with small animals and cats. I have two bunnies of my own and spent three years caring for cats. Whether it's keeping an eye on an aging pet, handling medication, walking a strong, energetic dog, or simply giving a high-energy pup the attention they need, I show up reliably and treat every pet like my own. Friends tend to call me first when they need someone they can trust with their animals, and I take that trust seriously. I'm a freelance photographer, so I make my own schedule and have a lot of flexibility most people don't. Weekdays, weekends, it's all the same to me. I've got plenty of time for morning, afternoon, and evening walks or visits, and I can usually work around whatever your pet's routine looks like. If your cat eats at 7am sharp or your dog needs a midday walk, I can make it happen. I treat your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I follow the routine and instructions you provide, keep doors and gates secured, and make sure your pet is safe and accounted for during every visit. I’ll keep fresh water available, clean up after your pet, and I’m always happy to take care of any accidents or pet-related messes that happen while you’re away. I’ll leave your home neat and just as I found it. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big decision, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how things are going. If your pet seems unusual or I notice anything concerning in the home, I’ll contact you right away. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for and for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“Victoria is on time and communicative! She did an amazing job taking care of our babies and sent us plenty of pictures and messages. She really made us feel comfortable. One of our pups needs eye drops and she was great at helping with medication too. We’re so happy to have found someone in the area that we can trust!”

“Sydney was amazing and sent me a lot of updates and pictures of my cats. She communicates well and is very flexible and easy to work with. Will be booking again :)”

“Maria did a great job looking after our two cats and giving medication while on a trip away. She gave us great updates with pictures and videos every visit and went above and beyond our expectations. Next time we have to go away I'm sure we will rebook.”

About: I grew up with no less than 4 dogs in my house. I’ve taken care of bulldogs, pugs, dachshunds, pitbulls, strays, and mutts. There’s no breed or special routine that I can’t handle! I’m currently in medical school and would love to spend my free time with your pets. My schedule is flexible and easy to work around. I can easily take care of your pet in your home or mine. Whatever is easiest and most comfortable for you! I live in a spacious apartment complex with multiple trails and dogs parks available parks for your pet to enjoy as well.
“Ellie was amazing! She was very attentive to detail and great with communication, especially with updates on anything off about our pets, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She was also very flexible with our changing schedule, which was super helpful.”

About: I’m new to Rover, but have been in the petsitting and housesitting business for years now. All of my clients have been word of mouth, and I have a goal to expand my clientele and services. I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. From tiny lap dogs who think they own the house to giant breeds who actually do. Whether your pet is a couch potato, zoomie champion, professional squirrel watcher, or secretly plotting world domination, I’m here for it. I have experience with animals big and small and know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and quirks. I’m patient, dependable, and always ready for belly rubs, playtime, long walks, or just keeping your furry friend company while you’re away. Your pets will get plenty of love, attention, and care, plus updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Warning: your pet may come back spoiled with affection and expecting celebrity-level treatment. I currently have an fairly open availability and a flexible schedule, which means I can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and even last-minute pet care needs whenever possible. Whether your dog needs a walk and playtime, your cat needs a quick check-in and treats, or your pet simply wants someone to exist nearby while they silently judge them, I’m happy to help. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and very specific demands, so I do my best to stay flexible and work around what keeps them happiest, safest, and most comfortable. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are my top priorities. I know how important it is to trust someone with your animals, and I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or convinced they are the ruler of the household, I take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at their own pace. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications, walks, litter box care, behavioral changes, and making sure your home stays secure and tidy during visits. With experience caring for animals of all sizes and personalities, I understand that every pet has different needs, routines, and quirks. My goal is always to create a calm, low-stress environment where your pets feel safe, loved, and maybe just a little spoiled while you’re away.

Maria is such a great Rover. She has great communication and always makes me feel like my cats are in good hands while I’m away. My cats just love her too! She is attentive and makes sure to spend time playing with them and loving them as if they are her own.

Kelly was available to help in a short notice and took great care of my cats! She made sure their needs were met every day, and also helped keep my home tidy and cared for my plants. When I came home, everything was well taken care of and it took a huge weight off my shoulders! She also gave great updates and always sent a picture of my kitty. 10/10 recommend she’s great!

Took care of my cats and hedgehog over the holidays. Allison was a great communicator and took care of them well. One of my cats is very outgoing and the other is more shy -- I was surprised how quickly my shy one started playing with her and wasn't afraid at all. Wonderful, thank you.
Brynn was amazing. I left town to spend Thanksgiving with family and I have a 17 year old cat that requires transdermal medication 2x a day. My cat can be crotchety and doesnt really like anyone but me. Upon meeting Brynn, he took right to her and allowed her to handle him. I rest assured and enjoyed my time with my family worry free because she took such good care of my buddy while I was away. I will definitely be using Brynn's services in the future and recommend her to the Rover community.

Samantha is absolutely amazing! She took great care of my two cats while I was away for a week. My kitties are in love with her! She’s very reliable and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to those who are looking for a reliable person to look after their fur babies!

Tammy is amazing! She took great care of our fur babies and it was at the last minute!! She stayed in contact with 2 of us in 2 different states. Updated us everyday and pictures, too. Very kind, happy, and professional. Tammy went above and beyond. Our pets miss her already! She will be helping me after an upcoming surgery. Thank you so much!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
