About: I’ve had dogs and animals my entire life. I have a heart for caring for animals and giving them the best life possible. Can help train younger dogs as I have experience training puppies and reactive dogs. 🚨I also have experience and knowledge of working with reactive dogs (barking, etc.). If your dog needs a bit more TLC and patience, I am happy to offer that to your pup. I ask that you describe in detail how to best set your dog up for success during my time with them and what their typical triggers are so that I keep your pup safe and happy. I’m a young professional living in central Richmond VA. I live a leisure lifestyle outside of work in event planning that includes many walks, plant gardening, and reading. I am also known for the occasional hike! Weekends are usually free as well as pockets of time throughout the day and evenings. Dogs are allowed anywhere in my home! I openly welcome couch snuggles (unless owner would rather place and mat training in place). I want to make my space as comfortable as possible for our furry guests, so will make any accommodations necessary for a relaxing stay with me!

About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I have had dogs and cats growing up my whole life and currently have a dog named Bagel and a cat named Friday. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs! Once the school year starts I can do weekends and afternoon/nights! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. I also try to be very thorough with the pet care instructions and will ask questions/for clarification to ensure I am giving your pet the best care as possible.

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I also have an Australian Shepherd who can be pretty anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for both dogs and cats, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love getting outside and taking walks, and I’m very familiar with the Richmond area. I also worked as a house cleaner for two years, so I’m comfortable being in clients’ homes and understand the importance of being respectful, trustworthy, and reliable. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe and happy while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!

I am able to walk dogs and do pop in visits to check on your dogs.
