I follow each pet’s established routine closely. This includes feeding schedules, litter box or yard care, medications, enrichment, and any specific behavioral preferences. For cats, I prioritize calm entry, gentle engagement, and giving them the option to approach me first. I’m attentive to subtle stress signals and adjust my interaction level accordingly. I’m comfortable administering medications and monitoring for changes in appetite, litter habits, or behavior. For dogs, I provide structured walks, play, and positive reinforcement while maintaining consistent boundaries. I keep spaces clean, send detailed updates with photos, and aim to leave your home exactly as I found it (or better).
