I am currently in school at J Sarge and amd finishing up my semester there and transferring to VCU in the fall. My work is usually quite flexible and I can leave to come check in on any and all pets I am caring for if needed. Besides work and school, I am a homebody for the most part. I do enjoy going out into nature so if your pup likes hikes, I would be happy to provide that environment for them! I am able to adapt to other’s routines, this includes pets and their needs. If pup has to go out at 6:00 AM, we’re up and ready to go.

How the dog behaves around other dogs, how they behave around people, if they’re food motivated, praise motivated or extremely prey motivated so I can proactively care for your pet. Alarm and security systems specifically with cameras that are in place in case of emergency is a general need to know. If they have fleas and are not on prevention. Unfortunately I am not willing to take on pets who are not being treated or currently infested with fleas or ticks. I will also not take pets who are not up to date on their vaccinations. This is for my safety and the safety of your pets.
A typical day
Go on walks to the nearby park and explore the trails or just around the neighborhood. They can even go to the dog park if permitted. Love to play with toys too!

Hello! I have been a caregiver for pets, canine and feline alike for upwards to 6 years. A frequent flyer with neighbors and family where my services have been advertised. I love animals, they are kind creatures at heart, I believe. And with this comes the compassion that they deserve and that I hope to provide for you and their pets. I am familiar with health checks for senior animals, bathing of dogs sizes small to medium, dog walking (and even cat walking if your feline enjoys), routined feeding, playtime, and much more. I also have a bit of positive reinforcement training experience of you would like me to keep up some habits you’re trying to form with your dog.

Liesel was great! One of my giant dogs has high anxiety and I was thankful for good communication and care. I just moved across the country and took my first trip, so my anxiety was high too! Recommend 10/10 and will definitely rebook.
Have used Liesel multiple times for dog sitting in my home, most recently for a 9 day stay while I was out of the country. She took great care of my guy, making sure he got plenty of exercise and taking him for outdoor adventures, plus couch snuggles. Sent me daily updates and pictures and took good care of my home.
Liesel always does an amazing job with my reactive dog and I appreciate all the pics/video updates!
