About: I've grown up with lots of dogs in my house, and I've been sitting for over 6 years. From French Basset Hounds to Great Danes, I love taking care of dogs!! *I WILL BE AWAY ON SPRING BREAK FROM MARCH 5TH-MARCH 14TH* I am a 21-year-old college student at VCU. As of right now, I have classes and club swim taking up my schedule, but I am available to walk and let out dogs during the week/weekend. I follow whatever instructions the owners give me. I always make sure the dogs I am looking after feel safe. Dogs have great emotional awareness, and my goal is to establish a sense of trust with the animal.

About: I have over eight years of hands on pet care experience, including caring for a diabetic dog requiring consistent monitoring and medication management. I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs, as well as cats and other household pets. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a dog of my own. I’m available for regular walks, check ins, and plenty of attention throughout the day, with extra time on weekends for long walks, dog parks, and outdoor play. Whether in my home or a client’s home, the pet’s safety, comfort, and well being always come first. I follow their routine closely, maintain a clean environment, provide attentive supervision, and ensure they feel secure and cared for at all times.
About: I am recently retired from a 27 year career with adults with disabilities on a 500 acre farm. I have owned 3 dogs and 1 cat as an adult and lived with dogs throughout my childhood. I would love to come care for your pet(s) in their own home while you are away or on vacation. I prefer medium or small sized dogs and a cat or two. I am discreet, clean and responsible. If preferred, I could also just drop in for a visit of feeding, playing with or letting out for toileting. I live in Richmond and would drive up to 20 miles to provide this service. I can provide character references as well as house/dog sitting refernces. I won't let you down! I am currently retired and have flexible availability.i am.able to sleep.over at your home or make daily visits. I travel a few weeks each month but am available quite often. I can come and care for your dogs or cats in their own home. I can sleep over or come a few times in the day, whichever works well for you and your pet(s). I could also just walk your dog about 3 times a day, depending on how far you are from my Manchester neighborhood.
“Bryan was a wonderful house guest, he kept my mind at ease about leaving my pets at home through lots of updates. We came back to a clean home and happy pets. Would recommend for house and pet sitting!”

Jackson Ward pet parents share their Rover experiences
Christine was fantastic! She took such great care of my babies while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind. She sent frequent updates and pictures so I always knew how they were doing, which I really appreciated. She also went above and beyond by leaving the house in great shape—washing the linens and towels, doing the dishes, and cleaning up after herself. It was so nice to come home to a happy house and well-cared-for pets. I would absolutely book Christine again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful house sitter.

I hired Victor to care for my mother’s dog, Millie, and her birds in her home for two nights, and they were wonderful. It was a last-minute request, and Victor responded immediately and made everything very easy to arrange. They arrived right on time and were patient and attentive while my mom explained all the care instructions. Victor truly went above and beyond. My mom isn’t very comfortable with technology, and they kindly helped her pull up her train tickets on her phone and made sure she got safely into her Uber to catch her train. That level of kindness meant a lot. My mom was very anxious about leaving Millie since they hadn’t been apart in quite some time. Victor was incredibly patient and kind when she called to check in, reassuring her each time and putting her mind at ease. When my mom returned home and saw how happy and well cared for Millie was, she was so relieved and grateful. Victor is reliable, thoughtful, and clearly wonderful with both animals and people. We would absolutely hire them again.
Charlotte was absolutely a perfect choice to leave our hounds and old man pup with! You can tell that they were very well loved on by her and that she took great care of them. We appreciate her patience and communication with us and would absolutely work with her again. She took great care of our home and went as far as washing all our bedding before we came home too. Thank you so much again, Charlotte!

Dawn is very pleasant and personable, very loving and caring towards my sweet dog. Sent photos every day of her stay, which kept me confident about my dog and the care she was receiving. Dawn took her for neighborhood walks. Left a very favorable impression!!
We had an excellent experience with Camryn. Her communication was outstanding from start to finish, quick responses, clear updates, and plenty of photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Leaving senior dogs is never easy, but we truly felt comfortable and confident they were in good hands. She was attentive to their needs, patient, and clearly experienced with older dogs (and a mischievous cat). We came home to happy, well-cared-for pups and a smooth overall experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

Bee was taking care of our pup for a week in our place and we have only nice things to say. She felt comfortable giving Kaan his daily medicine and updated us with cute pictures of them snuggling and walking. We knew our pup was in great hands and she left our place spotless as well. We highly recommend Bee and are so happy that we found her. Thank you 🙏🏻
