About: I prefer to go by Cameron (he/him). Since I can remember I have been caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, ages, and abilities. When I was in middle school my mom became involved in The Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue and we brought home many dogs to foster and officially adopt. Throughout my childhood I cared for blind dogs, deaf dogs, and dogs that struggle with seizure disorders. Now that I'm all moved out I have a long haired four year old cat named Fester. I'm helping my roommate raise her kitten and coparenting Benny my partner's Boston Terrier from the SCBTR. I'm currently returning to the workforce after recovering from top surgery so my schedule is very open. While I don't have a car at the moment I do have a bike plus I live in a convenient place to catch the bus. I don't currently have any fall trips planned so I should be here in Richmond area for quite a while. I don't take pets home with me to care for them. I am more than happy to come to you or take your pets to park based on what you would prefer. I am happy to feed, play with, and walk your pet as well as administer any extra care they may need.

About: I moved to Richmond about a year ago, which meant leaving my two pups back home with their dad. As rural, born-and-bred dogs, city life just wasn’t the right fit for them. So now, I’m filling that gap by spending time with other people’s furry friends! I make sure every pet gets plenty of exercise, affection, and supervision, while sticking closely to any instructions the owner provides regarding feeding, leash use, or behavior preferences.

“Ophelia doesn’t take kindly to strangers; she’ll refuse to eat or to even come out of her bed. She’s an older dog and a REAL member of my family. So, I was a bit uncomfortable with the idea of someone else caring for my little baby. This was my first time using Rover. I only resorted to this because I was in a bind when a friend canceled due to being sick. I wasn’t disappointed! Nick sent me constant updates and cute videos to reassure me. He’ll be my ONLY walker going forward.”

About: I’ve been watching, and caring for dogs, cats, and puppies growing up. My parents were always at work and it was my responsibility to make sure they were looked after. The past couple years my senior cat had a thyroid disorder and needed me to crush pills, groom, and assist physically. I helped train and care for both my dogs when they were puppies until adulthood, as well as a ferret. I’ve watched dogs for friends and family throughout the years and always enjoyed it. Im currently a full time student at VCU. I’m available all day Saturday, sunday, Friday, and on mondays till 5:30. I don’t have a car but I’m comfortable walking and taking the bus within 2 miles. I enjoy spending time with all types of animals and will be sure to give your pet all the love while your away. I’m a very respectful house guest and I’ll treat your space and pets with the same care I treat my own.

About: I have had animals my entire life. I love taking care of them and filling their lives with lots of pets and love. I currently have 3 dogs, ranging in ages 1-12. I have experience with reactive dogs, puppies, cats, and senior dogs. Excited to take care of your fur baby I’m currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I’m currently on summer break so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. It is very important to me that all animals are safe and well cared for. About: Since I’m new to Richmond, I have a flexible schedule and love getting out to explore the neighborhood with dogs! I have a dog of my own (Honey) and we love exploring the Fan and Carytown so far. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs as well 🐶 I work a remote position that’s pretty flexible so I’m able to make daily drop-in visits and walk neighborhood dogs throughout the week and sometimes on the weekends I try to make things feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pet by sticking to their routine. Whether that’s walks, meals, or just hanging out, I adjust to what they need. I’m big on updates (and cute photos), and I’m always careful about safety in and out of the home. Being a dog mom to Honey, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that seriously.

About: I’ve grown and been trusted with pets ever since I was born. My family runs a wildlife rehab, so I’ve witnessed aggression first-hand. Currently unemployed, so pet care would be prioritized in my daily/weekly routine. I have a cat of my own, so I care for him too. When at the client’s home, I usually do the must now tasks first, then I take the time to give the fur baby enrichment and play with them, teach them a trick if possible, and make sure they feel loved while their owner is temporarily away.
