10. Owen F.
“Owen was GREAT!! I have two Australian Shepherds (very high energy). My oldest dog isn’t very nice, and unpredictable with anxiety. When I went out of town for work, Owen did an amazing job. They were both extremely happy when I came home, and he kept me updated throughout the trip. They are more difficult then most dogs and even the “meaner” one loved Owen. He took them on walks and to the park… He has great energy and was very reliable. Highly recommend!”

12. Jonathan C.
“Jonathan took great care of my girl Luna while I was out of town, they went on some great walks and he was very good about sending pics and updates. I will absolutely book again and would recommend him without hesitation.”
13. Chandler H.
“I had a last minute trip come up for work and needed to find someone help me with my dogs last minute. I had never used Rover before or really left my dogs in the hands of anyone else. Chandler has a quick response time, communicates well and is very intuitive with dogs. I felt at ease the whole time I was gone. He even sent me a photo of my girls. When I got home my dogs were as chill and happy. Thanks Chandler. You did a great job.”

About: We have been fur parents to multiple fur babies both individually and together. I am currently a bather, and for the past two years I have bathed (and nails) dogs off all sizes and ages. We treat each dog like our own, creating an environment that is warm and inviting for them to stay, play, and feel comfortable. While I do work during the week, my partner works from home, so we work together to make sure that the pets are cared for around the clock. Usually I do mornings before work, and he does during the day and evening while I work, and then we work together during the night. We have a fully fenced in yard for the safety of the pets, as well as multiple sized crates to fit any size dog. . We also have 2 friendly pets of our own. Multiple dogs have visited and stayed in our home, and our dogs get along great with others. For dogs who are not as social, we will provide individual play for them as well.
15. Ley B.
“Ley is an exceptionally compassionate, responsible, experienced and reliable person. Ley’s volunteer experience with the local animal shelters has provided experience with many breeds and temperaments.”
16. Sydney G.
“Sydney was amazing with my sweet dog PJ. I came to Richmond from out of town for a few days and was grateful to coordinate several dog walks with Sydney. PJ is not a city dog, so I was a little hesitant on how best to handle downtown Richmond. Sydney knows the area well as a VCU student, and she was able to find green space and waterfront walks for PJ. She also did well to secure arrangements with me on short notice. I will certainly reach out to her again on my next visit to Richmond. Thanks Sydney!”

About: I have two dogs and two cats and I would love to bond with and walk your pet. I have lots of experience caring and walking dogs and never meet one that didn't like me. I will make sure your dog uses the bathroom and I will keep them hydrated and happy along the walk. I am very flexible with the time of day you need me for any pet. If your dog got dirty on the walk I will make sure to clean them up. I am young but I know how to handle all kinds of different sized and dogs that have different personalities. I have lots of experience helping out at shelters and making sure the dogs in my community are walked and healthy. I am currently working part-time at a French restaurant and i have plenty time to play with and walk and spend timewith your pups and pets. I have a car for transportation and I am very flexible with times throughout the day. I am very respectful and will always clean up after myself and pets. I always strive to keep a positive and clean environment for both owners and pets. I am very responsible and will always communicate with owners to best provide services.
18. Helen A.
“Nell is a very responsible and thoughtful person. She helped with my 66 pound Golden Doodle several times. She is always cheerful, doesn't get agitated easily, and genuinely enjoys being around animals. Although I have a dog, I know she has a cat and has done cat sitting for others. Certainly she can be trusted to be where she says she will be. Emergencies would not rattle her: her day job has exposed her to varying types of pressure and she is creative in using resources. I only wished she lived closer. I would trust her with my pet anytime.”
19. Julia B.
“Julia really helped me out in a pinch when I needed a last minute sitter for my pups. She was able to fit in a quick meet & greet in her schedule and followed all of our instructions for when we were away. The pups can be a handful on walks but because of her experience she was able to handful them gracefully. She sent plenty of pictures of our pups and we felt completely safe with them in her hands. We highly recommend Julia to anyone in need of a sitter!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with multiple dogs of all ages, from weeks old all the way to 13 years old I’m currently a senior at VCU. I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesday I am not available, but I’m available after 12:15 on Thursdays. I am an early riser, so I’m up pretty early usually. I am more focused on working with dogs outside of my own home. My roommate has a dog here. But I am very comfortable taking care of any kind of dog.
