About: I am new to Richmond and looking to explore with my pup, Rubens. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels. Would love for my dog to have a play mate during the day. Using Rover to keep a routine and explore Richmond while I look for a full time position. I am currently new to Richmond and in between jobs. I walk my dog anywhere from 5-12x a day from 15-75 minutes (depending on weather, need to get out of the house, etc.). My job right now is to enjoy the outdoors with my dog and yours! Rubens and I welcome all other dogs as family! I live in a first floor apt with a small fenced backyard (only for small dogs). There is a hallway that runs from the front door to the back yard area, which is where Rubens likes to do zoomies or be a watch guard dog for the doors. As far as behaviors, Rubens is allowed on my furniture and has a small basket of toys that he shares. Treats are only during training and water is down at all times. We are pretty flexible, but can also set rules per your request to stay on your schedule/routine.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats all my life and have always had pets since I was a kid. I’m really friendly with my friends’ pets and sometimes I’m more excited to see their pets than them😂. I’ve watched over some of my friends’ pets from time to time (cats and dogs). I have experience with both small dogs and large dogs as my one dog is a miniature dachshund, and my other is a Great Dane/German Shepherd Mix. I’m in college but I have fairly big gaps in between my classes so I have time to care for pets whether it’s a walk, visit, to play, etc. I’m fairly perceptive of pet moods and, especially with cats, can tell when pets wanna be left alone or want to play. My pets all have different personalities so I can adapt fairly well to different personalities. I let pets out regularly and am down to play if they’re bored.

She kept me updated and sent me tons of photos of him which made being away from him a lot easier. I now understand why she is always fully booked! I’m responsible and organized, so I make sure each pet’s routine and individual needs are followed closely. I also enjoy giving pets companionship and keeping them active, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel at ease. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including meals, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. I give pets plenty of attention and supervision while also respecting when they need quiet time. I’m happy to follow any special instructions from their owners so they receive personalized care and feel right at home.
