About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life of all sizes. I grew up with a great pyranees/ border collie and have a dog of my own who is a dachshund. I dog sat for my neighbor, friends, and relatives frequently. I also have experience in sitting for cats as well. I can also help your dog learn new tricks! I taught my dog how to sit, stay, lay down, paw, roll over, follow, and wait all within 6 months. I am currently a part-time employee and have a dog of my own, so I have plenty of time and experience in pet care to give your furbaby the care they deserve! I’m flexible to what they need. Whatever needs you have for your furbaby I can meet! My dog is very particular, so I am patient, willing and understanding to what your pet needs.

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

I also have an Australian Shepherd who can be pretty anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for both dogs and cats, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love getting outside and taking walks, and I’m very familiar with the Richmond area. I also worked as a house cleaner for two years, so I’m comfortable being in clients’ homes and understand the importance of being respectful, trustworthy, and reliable. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe and happy while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both!
