Pet Sitting Oregon Hill

About: I’ve grown up around dogs for most of my life and already occasionally pet sit for friends and family. I used to work as a caretaker at a doggy daycare, and decided to continue pet care alongside my new job as it became such a fulfilling part of my life. I'm experienced with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and I'm experienced with a variety of other animals such as cats, fish, lizards, turtles, birds, and hermit crabs. My current work schedule follows the standard Mon-Fri 8-5, with most of my weekends and evenings open. Because of this, I'd be most suited for pets that are used to this schedule already. Otherwise, I try my best to stick to their current schedule for things like feeding and walks. I always feel comfortable meeting the parent(s) and pet before the booking. I can take care of all basic tasks and am very adaptable, patient, and reliable. I do my best to learn about each pet's little mannerisms and quirks so I can accommodate them the best I can while keeping them and your home safe. I want to make sure both you and your pet end up happy! I always ask that I'm given the pet's vet and an emergency contact as well, just in case.

About: I have lived with big and small dogs as well as a cat and am prepared for all sorts of emergencies. I value the connection between a human and a pet greatly and would love to get to know owners and pets around the area :) I am a VCU student studying statistics, but originally was on a pre-veterinary track driven by my love for all kinds of animals. Every pet deserves love and I have dealt with all sorts of personalities. I would love to dedicate energy into building relationships and am super excited to meet you and your companion! Due to my class schedule, my availability depends on the day but during weekdays I am 100% free before 11 and after 3. Certain days I am a lot more available so really just depends on the day. For weekends, I am free for early morning Saturday walks but can generally only plan for Sundays when talked about in advanced. I currently live with a cat so would prefer to care for dogs inside of their own environment. I have experience crating pets, giving medicine orally, and reading older dogs body language to ensure maximum comfortability. I love to stay active so no worries if your pet needs a good run or play session, I would be delighted!! I always focus on building bonds at first by setting boundaries and listening to their needs.
