About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life of all sizes. I grew up with a great pyranees/ border collie and have a dog of my own who is a dachshund. I dog sat for my neighbor, friends, and relatives frequently. I also have experience in sitting for cats as well. I can also help your dog learn new tricks! I taught my dog how to sit, stay, lay down, paw, roll over, follow, and wait all within 6 months. I am currently a part-time employee and have a dog of my own, so I have plenty of time and experience in pet care to give your furbaby the care they deserve! I’m flexible to what they need. Whatever needs you have for your furbaby I can meet! My dog is very particular, so I am patient, willing and understanding to what your pet needs.

She followed every instruction perfectly, kept me updated and sent the sweetest updates and photos that made being away so much easier. My cat warmed up to her right away. which says everything. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely caring, Erica is the one. I can’t recommend her enough and will definitely be booking her again!”

About: Hi there! I’m Julia. From a young age, I’ve cared for many dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience housebreaking and training puppies in basic commands like sit, stay, and roll-over, as well as caring for senior dogs up to age 14. I understand the patience and care pets of all ages need and always make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I am a full-time college student taking several classes online so I am often home and your pet is never alone for too long. : ) Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always start by discussing expectations and routines. Every pet is unique, and I tailor my care to fit their lifestyle. I focus on keeping pets both comfortable and active through walks or playtime.
“Lindsay is AMAZING! She was even able to work with me on my last minute bookings. She took the time to not just take Bika on a walk, but played with her AND gave her cuddles. ??”

“My first experience with Rover and I could not have chosen a better pet sitter! My cat is normally very shy around unfamiliar people- she took to Chynna instantly. The pictures of Luna instantly put me at ease. I will definitely rebook with her next time!!”

“Emily was so great caring for my cat Ollie! She sent lots of pics each day and was very communicative throughout. I knew my Ollie was in good hands! Will definitely try to book with Emily in the future. Thanks Emily!!”

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for animals of all different temperaments, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. With two years of professional housekeeping experience, I’m comfortable caring for both pets and homes with the same level of respect and attention to detail I’d want for my own. My goal is to provide dependable care for both your pet and your home, while making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!
“Thank you so much for taking care of our cats! You are always so pleasant, reliable, and informative. We love receiving the updates and great pictures, it gives us peace of mind while we’re away! Highly recommend!”

“Alyssa was great with my cat, who experiences separation anxiety. She did a wonderful job and sent me pics of my kitty getting skritches. I appreciate her care.”

“Danyelle is AMAZING!!! Took such great care of my boys over a holiday. Gave me daily updates and even put up with some of their eating "quirks", which isn't always easy. But she was super patient with them and gave them all the love they needed while I was gone. I was so super happy and relaxed to know they were in such great and caring hands. Heck, even just the trek to my trash can for litter box cleaning was an extra effort in and it's self. Can't recommend Danyelle enough!”

Jacob really puts in the work to make sure our animals are taken care of and to keep us informed on how they're doing while we're away. This was our second time booking his service and we'll very likely reach out to him again when we have more travel plans in the future. We highly recommend his service to anyone who wants to be sure their animals are being looked after by someone who truly cares about their well being.

Nina has looked after our two cats twice now and she will always be the first sitter that I look next time I need to book a sitter! Both cats were extremely well cared for and I have total peace of mind while on vacation knowing she is looking after them. She shares great updates and it is clear to me she “gets” our two quirky cats. Thank you as always, Nina!

We asked Grace to check in on our crazy orange cat a few times while we were out of town pretty last-minute, and she exceeded all expectations! She sent lots of pictures and gave great summaries each time she visited. Our cat hates to be alone for too long, and it was such a relief to know that Grace was giving her some much-needed love and attention! We'd definitely use Grace's services again in the future.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Theresa. A friend recommended her to me, and she watched my cat over a long weekend. Right from the initial meet-and-greet, I knew she was the perfect fit, she immediately got down on the floor to meet my cat on her level, which meant so much. While we were gone, her attention to cleanliness and detail was great. She cleaned the water bowls and soft food dishes daily and handled the litter box exactly as instructed. I absolutely loved the tons of photo updates she sent, you could see how safe and comfortable my cat felt around her. On top of everything, she was incredibly accommodating with a last-minute request. I am so grateful for her care and will definitely be booking her again!
