About: I am a recent graduate from The University of Virginia who grew up in an animal-loving home. I am an attentive pet sitter and dog walker with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and in-home care, focusing on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining their normal routines. I’ve grown up caring for animals and currently have a friendly Bichon and two cats of my own, so I understand how important trust, consistency, and individualized care are. My experience includes daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, basic grooming, litter box care, and administering simple medications when needed. I’m especially patient with shy, senior, or anxious pets and always take a calm, respectful approach. I currently work part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule. About: Hi, I'm Emily! I've been drawn to animals of all kinds since I was a kid! I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs, and have had a dog of my own since 2021. I'm well-versed in animal care; in addition to the basics (walks, feeding, play), I'm familiar with many common needs, like medication administration, training/behavioral reinforcement, and gland expression. I have a flexible schedule and typically respond to requests within a few hours. I'm able to spend a lot of my time at home; usually when I'm out of the apartment, it's for no more than about four hours or so at a time. My standard schedule is to provide three walks a day (morning, midday, evening) plus a quick potty break before bedtime, but I can adjust that up or down depending on your dog's needs. Dogs staying with me can expect lots of pets, cuddles, and playtime. I do allow pets on my furniture and bed, but if that's a behavior you're trying to limit, I can take that into account while your pet is staying here. At all times, and especially when outside, the safety of your pet is paramount to me. During walks, I actively monitor for dangerous situations/behaviors, like encounters with unfamiliar dogs or trying to eat things they shouldn't. Please feel free to share anything about your pet that I should take into account while they're in my care.

About: I've been pet sitting since I was a little kid and grew up with dogs and cats, and since I work from home full-time, I have a flexible schedule. I love getting outside for walks and tend to walk 10k steps daily, so if you have an active dog, I’m your girl! I don’t currently have pets of my own, so I love getting to spend quality time with yours! My ultimate goal is for you to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home from 9am - 5pm, so I’ll be very available during the week. I have set evening plans on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but I have no standing commitments all other days of the week. I will follow whatever protocol you have for your pets. Whether that’s a specific routine, individual needs, and/or keeping you up to date with pics / messages. I want you to feel like your furry friends are in good hands!

About: I've had pets for most of my life. I've grown up with cats in the house but i've had a hamster and a few dogs before when i was younger. My sister also had a snake (a fancy corn snake) that i took care of a lot for a year. I've done pet sitting for a friend and my sister before. My friend had a Samoyed and a Ragdoll. While my sister has a pit/lab mix. I'm currently in college so i will mainly be available during the weekends. I currently have Mon, Wed, and Fri off from classes and will be available in the mornings and afternoons. While I don't offer services in my home, I am willing to travel to a clients home and willing to do overnights on the weekends. I am always respectful and will never disrespect your home, you, or your pets.

About: I have personal experience taking care of (walking, bathing, feeding, enrichment, training) all animals and love to do it. Professionally, I’ve worked at doggy daycares, other dog-walking and pet-sitting apps, and volunteered to assist with puppy births. My experience is mostly with dogs; however, I have taken care of cats and more! I work a full-time job, but my hours are flexible which means I have days I am in-office or at home and I do not work weekends. It is very easy for me to leave work to provide pet care and return later that day or make-up hours later in the week. I am very gentle with animals and the safety of pets and those around them comes first - always. I plan to keep the pet comfortable and enriched. It is very easy to follow a schedule and routine for medications, bathroom breaks, bedtimes, and playtime. I pay close attention to details and take the time to learn pet behaviors to ensure they get the best care.
