Kylie can care for
Availability
I work full time Monday through Thursday, and usually work from home on Wednesday, so my availability is in the early morning before work (around 6am) and evenings after work for walks and drop ins (around 5pm on). Wednesday I can come earlier, since I am usually work from home. I have every Friday off, so I am more flexible on the weekends. If you are going away for a weekend, I can do multiple drop ins from Friday-Sunday. Or do an overnight. For overnights, I can either stay for the whole the day and go home at night, or stay for parts of the day (and leave for others) and stay overnight. If you want around the clock care, there would be an additional fee. I can come from Thursday night at 6pm and leave as late as 6am Monday morning.

I am unable to do boarding at my place, since I live in an apartment and have my own cat. But I could do drop-ins at your home (schedule listed above). I would care for your pet as I would my own. Any requests, requirements, and needs would be met. I would also make sure your pet is well fed, walked, and taken out at the appropriate times. I would play with them and make sure they feel safe and happy. Plus cuddles if they want :)
Information Kylie O. would like to know about your pet
I believe it is important to know if a pet has an behavioural or physical issues or is special needs. I have no problem working with any pets, but it is important to know these so I can work with them and know the proper situation to put them in. For example, if a dog has certain behavioural issues, they might not do well with other dogs or people, so I wouldn’t bring them to a dog park. Or if a dog has physical limitations, I know certain activities to not do with them so they don’t get hurt.
A typical day
I love to play games with dogs such as fetch and tug of war for mental stimulation. If allowed, I love to take dogs out to the park or a dog park so they can social with other dogs and run around. If they need to be kept by themselves because they are reactive, I have worked with many dogs like this, and know how to walk on specific quiet blocks, cross the streets when I see another dog, and keep them calm.

Experienced with all species
Pet care experience
Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have always owned an pet, and cherished the amazing memories I had growing up with them. I have had hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, ferrets, and a hedgehog. I currently have two cats that are my life. I have a ton of experience working with animals as well. I was a veterinary technician, and worked with dogs, cats and exotics. I have pet sit for many species including ferrets, rabbits, cats and dogs. This includes staying at the owners house, and daily walks. I volunteered at the Humane Society for a year and took care of the kittens and elderly cats, as well as walking the dogs. I was also teacher at an environmental non profit, where I worked with more exotic animals such as snakes, birds, frogs, chinchillas, guinea pigs, turtles, rabbits and hedgehogs. I hope I get to work with you and look forward to taking care of your pet as if it was one of my own!

Reviews

This was my first time using Kylie and I could not have asked for a better sitter. She took many photos and a nice update with each visit. My husband and I loved her notes and we were very much entertained by them. Would definitely recommend.
Kylie was great and my pets were well cared for and happy when I returned. She did a great job of keeping me informed while I was gone and took care to clean up some doggy messes which was much appreciated. I will definitely use her services again. Thank you Kylie!

Kylie was so wonderful with my sweet senior kitty Marcie! Knowing Marcie was well cared for and getting lots of playtime and attention made it easier to enjoy my time away from home.
Kylie was so helpful with our dogs when we were away. It was a last minute booking and we had to ask her to come over an extra day as well. She was terrific about both. Five stars!
