About: I have been taking care of dogs (and cats) since I was old enough to walk. I have extensive experience with younger dogs and senior dogs. My senior dog passed recently, but through her I gained experience in handling leash and dog aggression, administering medicine, and making her comfortable in later years. I am trained in leash walking aggressive dogs, and I have experience with being firm for training. Your dog will enjoy long walks, lots of pets, and playful energy staying with me. I love animals and I always look to put their best interests first. I work full time from home, which allows me flexibility through the day to care for pets. While I have other hobbies, one of my favorite things to do is walk through Richmond, so your dog will be happily exhausted after staying with me! I live in a two level, large apartment. I do not have any other pets or children, so your fur baby will be our number one priority! My home is near Byrd park and other great neighborhoods to walk in. Your pet will be allowed on the couch, but I am happy to crate them if you’re more comfortable. I do not smoke and keep a very tidy home, so your pet will be safe under my care.

About: For the last three years, I have taken care of several dogs in my neighborhood. Mostly walking them, at times several walks a day, and dogsitting as well. I am able to account for the needs of dogs and am able to safely walk them. I am also a proud owner of two beautiful cats, so I am familiar with the habits of cats and how to tend to their individual needs! All my neighbors view me as a trustworthy companion and caregiver for their furry friends It is currently my summertime before school so until mid-August I am mostly free every day. My availability will be dependent on variable day-to-day summer errands, but I will be sure to prioritize my furry clients! I will keep a leash on your pet at all times during the walk and be sure to provide them with anything, such as food, treats, or water after the walk.

About: My partner and I bring over 10 years of dog care experience and 5+ years managing a stable multi-dog group. We carefully watch body language, work to prevent issues early, and keep feeding routines steady so each dog feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for. We’re comfortable working with multi-dog households, different energy levels, and group dynamics. Our focus is creating a safe, structured, and positive environment where dogs can socialize, play, and settle comfortably. My specialty is organization and structure, my partner specializes in socialization and behavioral management. Pet care is part of our daily life. Someone is home throughout the day. We organize our schedule around the dogs in our care so they receive consistent supervision, play, and individual attention. We have a fenced backyard and fenced front yard, giving dogs safe space to move, explore, and play. Inside we provide a dedicated dog room and crates for dogs of all sizes, creating a comfortable and secure place for them to rest when needed. Dogs are thoughtfully grouped by temperament, with attention to proper rest rotation and consistent feeding routines to support balance and comfort. Whether in our home or a client’s home, we focus on safety, supervision, and each dog’s individual needs. We follow established routines, maintain a steady and secure environment, and make sure every dog feels comfortable, cared for, and at ease.

About: I've been volunteering at the Richmond Animal League for over a year and have previous experience working at shelters and dog daycares. I've always loved caring for animals; I used to volunteer at the SPCA when I was younger and I have two dogs of my own that I enjoy taking on walks and playing fetch with in the backyard. I have a part-time job that I work 3-4 days a week (mostly evenings). Other than that, my schedule is pretty flexible! I'm available throughout the week, as well as weekends. I'm more interested in petsitting, but I can also do daily walks and drop-ins with enough notice! For petsitting, I'll be able to stay and take care of your pets for as long as you need me to be there. I can stay all day and even overnight if needed, or just check in periodically throughout the day! I'll carefully follow instructions given on feeding, walks/exercise, morning and bedtime routines, medications, and just overall entertainment. I'm great with dogs (and cats!) of all kinds of energy, whether they want to be active all day long, or just snuggled up on the couch!

About: I’m an expert at giving stubborn dogs their medication! And I love tucking fur babies into bed. I have a doggy of my own (Shih-Tzu & Havanese mix) that has many toys ready to share with new furry friends!! I live in an apartment with minimal yard space, but I do like going for walks in the fan district & Monroe Park, so if you leave your dog with me, rest assured that they’ll get to walk and do their business on a vast yard!!! I am not available during class days: Tues- 12:30-3:30, Wed-1:00-1:50, and Thurs-2:00-3:30. **STILL AVAILABLE THESE DAYS, just work around my class schedule please! When I’m home, I always like to make sure I have my eye on my pet/your pet. I do allow pets on furniture (if you like differently then I will respect and honor that boundary)! I’m able to give meals whenever according to your pet’s schedule :) I’m able to administer oral medications, and I am also educated on dog and cat behaviors. If I am watching your pet in your home, I will also keep the house tidy and make sure no accidents occur with your pet!
