About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for animals of all different temperaments, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!

About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!

About: I’m a medical student at VCU on summer break and missing my own pets at home. I’ve walked neighborhood dogs and fostered shelter dogs and cats for several years and have volunteered walking dogs at Richmond Animal League (RAL) for the past year. I’m responsible, hardworking, and dependable and looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I’m a medical student on summer break for the next couple months and will be doing research remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I can adapt my timing to yours. I’m comfortable caring for your pets in my apartment having fostered pets here in the past or coming to your home. I’ve worked with shy dogs, energetic pups, playful puppies and everything in-between! I’m comfortable with a range and have also given medications and done some training if that’s something that needs to be continued.
