About: I moved to Richmond about a year ago, which meant leaving my two pups back home with their dad. As rural, born-and-bred dogs, city life just wasn’t the right fit for them. So now, I’m filling that gap by spending time with other people’s furry friends! I’ve become the go-to dog walker for my neighbors, and I genuinely love it—it gives me my weekly dose of wagging tails and happy walks. I’d love the chance to walk your dog and give them the care, attention, and exercise they deserve. Pet care is something I’ve naturally built into my weekly routine. Since moving to Richmond about a year ago and leaving my two dogs back home, I’ve really missed that daily connection with animals. I will provide attentive, personalized care based on each pets routine and personality, whether I’m in my client’s home or caring for them on a walk. I make sure every pet gets plenty of exercise, affection, and supervision, while sticking closely to any instructions the owner provides regarding feeding, leash use, or behavior preferences.

About: Since I’m new to Richmond, I have a flexible schedule and love getting out to explore the neighborhood with dogs! I have a dog of my own (Honey) and we love exploring the Fan and Carytown so far. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs as well 🐶 I work a remote position that’s pretty flexible so I’m able to make daily drop-in visits and walk neighborhood dogs throughout the week and sometimes on the weekends I try to make things feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pet by sticking to their routine. Whether that’s walks, meals, or just hanging out, I adjust to what they need. I’m big on updates (and cute photos), and I’m always careful about safety in and out of the home. Being a dog mom to Honey, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that seriously.

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

About: I grew up in a multi-cat household and now own 5 cats between my parents and myself! There's no kitty I can't handle - from super social, to shy, to very sassy, I'm known to be able to form a bond with every cat that comes into my care. I'm also a lover of all animals, I owned fish and lizards and have spent a lot of time helping walk and take care of my family's dogs. My animals are my life, and I've been on Rover for almost four years now! I also have a lot of experience working for Happy Cats Concierge LLC in Reston, VA, where I provided a range of services for cats of various quantities, ages, and personalities. I’m currently pet sitting full time after moving up to the area and have a ton of flexibility to take care of your pets! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teenager, including puppies and senior dogs requiring medication. I'm well handled walking strong and reactive dogs, and can do grooming for long stays. I currently work part time (occasional Saturday nights) and am available to care for dogs throughout the day. I'm an early riser and love walking the neighborhood in the morning. I'm happy to play with extra energetic dogs. For home visits, I will be available to visit twice a day, or can stay with dogs in the home.

About: I’m a Registered Nurse who specializes in organ transplants, and a passionate animal lover! I have experience working in veterinary clinics for 3 years before I transitioned to a career as a nurse, of which I have been for 14 years. I had a sweet, large Akita for 13 years who had bilateral TPLOs, so I am very experienced with large breeds, post surgical situations, and medication administration, including injections. I have exceptional experience with mobilizing senior dogs, as Koda lived with severe osteoarthritis during his last few years. Whether the care for your pet is complex or simple, they are in excellent hands with me 💕 I work full time as a nurse, three 12 hr shifts a week, the days of the week vary each week. I typically have to work every other or every third weekend, but will have most of the week off in that case. Regarding my days off, I am available for the full day from dawn to dusk to care for you fur babies, or I am open to house sitting, or having your pet in our lovely Carytown bungalow! I have a medium sized fenced yard in Carytown with plenty of room for your pup to frolick safely. Camper, our sweet hound dog, is the kindest, most submissive pup and wouldn’t hurt a fly; her and I will both keep your pets happy and entertained! If we are house sitting or pet-sitting in your home, I will carefully follow every instruction to keep your animals routine the exact same!

About: I have personal and professional experience with dogs, working at a doggy daycare for a short amount of time (dealing with 40 dogs at a time was not for me) and being a lifelong dog owner and caretaker. I currently have two shih-tzus who are the cutest! Roommates make personal boarding unsafe and unpredictable, However I have reliable transportation and will be there to take care of your pup (or kitty) right on time for walks, overnights, visits, and long term stays.

About: I grew up with our family's miniature dachshund since I was 12 years old. During that time, I learned to take care of her and what it takes to be a good dog owner. About: I worked for a pet sitting company (Woofies) for about a year. I have worked with all different types of dogs and cats. I have also worked with hamsters, fish and guinea pigs. I average about 8-12 visits a week and about 40 a month. I am extremely flexible and reliable as well. I have had regular clients for months on end and made bonds with lots of pets. I am currently very available and willing to work around many schedules. I am used to planning day around visits and making times for the pets. I am used to house rules and regulation.
