About: I’m a medical student at VCU on summer break and missing my own pets at home. I’ve walked neighborhood dogs and fostered shelter dogs and cats for several years and have volunteered walking dogs at Richmond Animal League (RAL) for the past year. I’m responsible, hardworking, and dependable and looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I’m a medical student on summer break for the next couple months and will be doing research remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I can adapt my timing to yours. I’m comfortable caring for your pets in my apartment having fostered pets here in the past or coming to your home. I’ve worked with shy dogs, energetic pups, playful puppies and everything in-between! I’m comfortable with a range and have also given medications and done some training if that’s something that needs to be continued.

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for animals of all different temperaments, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. With two years of professional housekeeping experience, I’m comfortable caring for both pets and homes with the same level of respect and attention to detail I’d want for my own. My goal is to provide dependable care for both your pet and your home, while making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both!
