About: I moved to Richmond about a year ago, which meant leaving my two pups back home with their dad. As rural, born-and-bred dogs, city life just wasn’t the right fit for them. So now, I’m filling that gap by spending time with other people’s furry friends! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teenager, including puppies and senior dogs requiring medication. I'm well handled walking strong and reactive dogs, and can do grooming for long stays. I currently work part time (occasional Saturday nights) and am available to care for dogs throughout the day. I'm an early riser and love walking the neighborhood in the morning. I live in an apartment with a balcony, so boarded dogs will be walked at least twice a day on a leash in the neighborhood. I'm happy to play with extra energetic dogs. For home visits, I will be available to visit twice a day, or can stay with dogs in the home.

About: I’ve been watching both cats and dogs for friends and neighbors for a few years now, and now that I have more flexibility in my schedule I would love to provide my services to others! I work fully remotely and have a ton of flexibility to take care of your pets! If i’m not on vacation, i’m usually free to help :) I live in an apartment with my two-year-old chihuahua mix, Archie! Plenty of opportunities to run around the fenced dog area or ride over to a trail or park for more activity. I moved to Richmond a few months ago to begin graduate school, but because my roommate is allergic to dogs, I had to leave my own dogs with my parents. I also have experience working at a doggie daycare, where I cared for dogs with different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I miss spending time with them dearly, so I would love the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were my own. It would be a privilege to give your furry family member the same care, attention, and affection I give my own animals. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make pet care a consistent part of my daily routine. I can plan walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins around my classes and schoolwork, giving each pet the attention they deserve. I also enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so taking dogs on walks would fit naturally into my routine. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual schedule to help them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. Because my roommate is allergic to dogs, I’m unable to provide pet-care services in my own home. However, I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I will carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and any other parts of your pet’s usual routine. I’ll treat your home respectfully, give your pet plenty of attention and affection, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your loved one is safe and well cared for.

About: I've been dog-walking and cat sitting since I was about 13-14 years old! I've cared for a range of dogs and cats, from young to old, and everything in between. I also have lots of experience with big dogs in particular. My family has had labs since I can remember, and I've cared for and walked two big dogs at the same time. I currently work from home, and usually have a pretty flexible schedule most days a week, so I'd be happy to fit your pet into my schedule! I do occasionally have a public involvement meeting that requires me to be elsewhere during the day, but happy to plan far in advance with you to make sure your pet's care needs are met. I provide a safe environment by making sure your pet is in a place they know best - their and your home. I find that pets who are in their own space are the most comfortable. I also have experience with needing to provide pills to cats, and can crate trained pups.
